Just checked to see I've lost 11 pounds in one month! Here's some tips:
🌸 Drink lots of water. I know everybody says this, but it's absolutely crucial. 🌸 Also drink unsweetened iced tea! I don't see many people talking about this, but I think that's because most bottled iced tea is either sweetened to the max or is mixed with lemonade. However, both Pure Leaf and Arizona have unsweetened versions of green and black tea at 0 calories each! 🌸 WATCH OUT FOR HIDDEN CALORIES! This is HUGE. If you say "Oh, this is only so and so calories" but then you add ketchup to it, you're adding a lot more. Try a low-cal alternative for sauces, salad dressings, dips, etc. 🌸 Working out is hella important, and it took me way too long to realize that because I hate exercising. Even if you just walk on the treadmill for half an hour, that burns a good amount! Right now I'm typing this on a bike machine, haha. But seriously-work. out. *note-don't do anything too intense while you're fasting!* 🌸 Set specific meal times! For me, I always eat dinner at 5:30, and I usually only eat one meal a day. That means that I fast 24 hours every day! You hardly even notice it after a while, I swear. 🌸 When you fast, have a set start and stop time. Count the hours before, too-don't just "go as long as you can", because then you're tempted to binge or break it early on. Also make sure to stop if you feel dizzy, faint, etc. 🌸 When breaking your fast, don't break it with something huge. Have a small handful of fruit or a couple eggs. You don't want to break your fast with a big meal because a) your body will cling to that food quickly and b) you'll be more likely to overeat. 🌸 Sugar-free gum is only five calories (usually) and a great cravings booster. I chew cinnamon because it makes my tongue feel funny for a while, and by the time it stops I'm not hungry! 🌸 Find out new ways to reward yourself. I personally try on old jeans that didn't fit that now are loose, or let myself skip a machine I don't want to excersize on. Food shouldn't be a reward! 🌸 For me, the hardest part of all of this was starting these routines. Fasting for 12 hours seemed like tortute. Eating salads at a burger place? Ugh, I wanted to eat everything I laid eyes on! And don't even get me started on getting my butt up and exercising. However, now that I've been doing these things for a while, it really does get easier. 🌸 Most importantly-stay safe! Know and respect your body's limits.

Does anyone else just get disgusted by the idea of losing weight the healthy way ? Because I’ll see how people are only supposed to lose like .5 lbs a week. Like that’s what I want to lose a day if not more and just the idea of having to lose weight that slowly grosses me out.

!!!
After 40 hours of fasting, I hit my next goal weight of 100 pounds!!! I'm so happy!!! To celebrate I tried on a pair of jeans (boys 14) that used to be so tight they would hardly button, and now they're actually loose on my hips!!! I'm just a huge ball of happiness and excitement right now, you have no idea. Maybe I'll keep up the fast until 5 (another 8 hours) tonight and do some light exercising, but I'm so so so so happy rn you have no idea!!!
