No it couldn’t be, she died centuries ago, she was gone, was it her reborn again?

The truth is it was her, not reborn again, but she tried her hand in faking her death during the destruction of the nation. Now that she bore the curse of immortality she traveled for a period, along with Dainsleif. Soon she became tired of that life so she settled for staying in a region for about ten or so years at a time before moving on. Now she found herself settling in the snowy nation again, getting a job, making temporary friends before she had to leave again.

Later that evening when she is walking to her small home, hands grab her and drag her along. She glanced up to see Fatui soldiers dragging her along, per orders of the Jester. She is tossed into a carriage and by the time she processes what it happening, a hand comes to touch her face and guide her to look up at the man she tried to escape…

They have five hundred years of lost time to make up for.

Being handcuffed together with Furina for a day would make her go insane being stuck together with the person who she likes the most and spending time and every moment together, she could just melt right here due to how hot her cheeks had gotten from just being around her heart feels like it’s on fire!. She thinks to herself jumping up and down down down the streets of Fontaine earning some weird glances aimed towards her direction, but she couldn’t care less about her reputation and appearance, because after all she has YOU, having YOU is all she cares about, being able to have you all to herself, locked in her room, forbidden to leave, all the other archons oblivious to your presence in this world just fills her life with Happiness and everything that she needs, love, attention, and YOU.

Spending Christmas Time with Genshin Characters !!

Christmas Party? She’s honestly never heard of such a thing being forced to ask the role of an archon for more than 500 years; she's never had time for these kinds of gatherings. He honestly couldn't have cared for such things, celebrating such a holiday when there’s still so much to do, paperwork to be done, cases to be looked over, but spending the time with you, that’s when you catch his attention. Spending time with you will make memorable memories with his friend. It’s quite different from what he would normally do, so of course he’s new to this stuff but he’s sure that spending this precious moment with you, will make it so much more special.

She always wants to repay the ones who are the most important in her life, even if you offered her your hand in marriage if it sees fit! Having dinner with you on your dates, getting married looking forward to the future leading her clan with you alongside fulfilling her fathers legacy with you alongside her, it all sounds like a dream come true to her. She suddenly stopped daydreaming when you came up to her just to say good morning then she suddenly went back into the thoughts that were swarming around in her head, of how kind you are, the look that was always in your eyes when you looked at her, the way how you always help others.

She wouldn’t like to admit it but she does see you in a VERY romantic way even though you basically like a father figure to her by this point but each passing day, time just seems to go faster and faster like how everytime she sees you, her heart seems to beat more just by talking and looking at you, she’s always been reading and seeing these kind of feelings in novels and books that she’s read but her feelings just don’t seem to completely fit in with the ones she’s read in books. It feels like there’s something more than just two lovers falling in love with each other like how she's always seen in those books. She snaps out of her thoughts when you snap her out of her endless world of thoughts of you.

“Would you like to walk with me? It’s been a while since we walked together”

Silently she nodded barley holding in her emotions and the moments of happiness to be able to walk beside you. To even be able to spend time with you, she thought while walking beside you around the area of Spina di Rosula, she suddenly heard you talking about visiting other nations, talking about your passions to visit other nations, to try other cuisines. Hearing that Navia stood still pausing mid step, breaking the symphony of the nice peaceful moment between the two of you, as her normally bright blue eyes grew dark for a second, that not even you could see it, but in a instant she resolved her thoughts and went back to walking and talking with you.

After the walk, a thousand things went through her mind. Are you leaving her? Leaving her to run the clan alone without you? What about all the good times she spent with you? Thinking that Navia held the umbrella in her hand with whitening knuckles at the thought, she stormed off in an unusual manner, a striking difference from her usual self. it’ll only be a few days until you leave. She made up a plan to spike your macaroons when she makes them for you, she thought to herself smirking…

"You have to see, I do all of this for your safety, all of this is for you, don't act so selfish and just stay"

Light Yandere Furina Drabble

A/N: wrote this for fun.

You’ve always been in the spotlight in her eyes even if you were always on the sidelines. To her there was always a light brighter than the moonlight cast on you at all times. Ever since she met you at one of her many shows when everyone was looking at her when she was at her lowest point, your smile always made her shine back to her normal self, YOU felt like a breath of fresh air, YOU were and still is everything to her at that moment and now.

Ever since then she’s been looking for you to pop up and give her a big cheery smile to cheer her on and give her the necessary energy to keep living, to keep smiling and to keep up with this fake persona of hers, But after every time she seeks your presence. YOU'RE NOT THERE. She looks for you from the stage looking around at every seat in each row, Row 1 you're not there, row 4, row 7 you're not anywhere, YOU'RE NOT HERE. Furina finally realizes her fake smile slowly fades away as she slumps to the ground, the one and only source of her inspiration and energy gone, she feels empty. Not soon after that Neuvilette shuts down the show, Furina rushes to her room not bothering to even talk or even spare a glance to him before shutting the door. She needs you in her life, but where are you! She thought, she decided she would look for you. She went out of her room with the brightest smile she could muster as she waved and smiled at the crowd of people slowly making her way to look for you.

And she did find you just something she didn’t want to see. YOU WITH ANOTHER PERSON giving them all the hugs and kisses in the world smothering them in love. She didn’t get those. Why are you giving all of this to this worthless mutt? She stood puzzled at the scene in front of her before she could even look you in the eyes. She ran away with the same bright smile that she had the whole time she looked at you.

Later you would find Guards at your door with an eviction notice and a warning to appear in court the following day specifically given by Lady Furina herself.

Silent Furina sat on her couch with a cup of tea and some cake, with the biggest smile on her face that she’s ever had, giggling to herself her cup of tea cold. Her cake was left untouched; she could only smile and giggle even more. Looking forward to blessing her eyes on your form in the courtroom she couldn’t help but smile even more at the thought that was forming in her head.

People in Inazuma city parted ways like the sea of moses from the way you ran, half putting on your shrine maiden clothes. You apologized when you nearly ran into people.

You had finally reached the foot of the mountain and you began running through the thousand red gates. The sun shined mercilessly down on you and you felt yourself beginning to sweat. You wanted to rest and just walk up but you were about to be late.

Running as you went you saw the floating rocks with the electrogana on it. If only you had an electro vision things would have been easier. Looking up the mountain again you saw you had a long way to go.

’Ahhh, all this hassle because I overslept!’ You internally cried.

After what felt like forever you finally reached the Narukami shrine. You went through the toji gate and bowed out of respect before going in.

The pink fox lady stood by the fox shaped sakura tree with her back turned. Her ear twitched and she let out a low hum.

”You know you really shouldn’t be late on your first day here. It is quite rude and makes for awful first impressions”

”I am sorry lady Yae Miko, you’re right. I shall do better!” You bowed to apologize. This was your first day working at the shrine as a shrine maiden. Yae Miko’s work quite frankly fascinated you so you wanted to work with her. Plus working with her meant some nice quality time for you two.

You saw two fingers snap right in front of you and you snapped out of your daydreaming.

“Honestly don’t go zoning out when I am about to give instructions. You really are out of it today”

“Yes yes, sorry about that”

”Ah well. The first thing to do is make sure the shrine is nice and tidy” Your eyes wandered around the shrine in search of something amiss before you heard an exasperated sigh.

”I meant look around the place. Go on, walk around” Yae sounded annoyed and with that you looked away a little ashamed before doing so.

You did find that some of the floorboards were dusty and since foxes roamed around there were a few things…littered.

”One must make sure the shrine is all nice and tidy before the people come. No one wants to pray with the smell of animal feces around do they or get their socks all dusty and slip” You nodded and then stood there…not knowing where the cleaning supplies are.

“Well? Get a move on” You jumped a little and turned to her.

“I don’t know where the cleaning supplies are”

Yae sighed again before smiling.

“If you used your two eyes your mother graced you with you would see it says ‘cleaning supplies’ over there” Yae pointed. Your cheeks grew a bit more red out of embarrassment.

‘This is so embarrassing? Does she treat every shrine maiden this way?’ You glanced at Yae who still looked at you. ’Is she annoyed with me?’

Taking the cleaning supplies you began to sweep the floorboards and clean up from the foxes.

”See? That wasn’t so hard? Only took you 10 minutes to understand everything and do what I say”

”That long!?” You yelled out in shock. No way it has already gone 10 minutes

”Yes that long. Is something wrong with you today? You’re usually not this slow” All these jabs you were getting started to really get on your nerves.

’Maybe she really is annoyed with me’ Your heart began sinking.

”It’s my first day working Yae, you know that” You countered earning a sigh from Yae.

”Mhmm I know but still, things like understanding a simple instruction like cleaning shouldn’t take that long” You nodded at her words.

“Hmf” Yae finished off and your heart began to sank a bit further.

‘What's up with her today? All of these remarks is starting to hurt' You thought before shaking your head. 'It will be better next time’

Next time came, again and again. No really big improvement on either part. You accidentally messed up a ritual and said the wrong words.

“...Walk forth and purify which is im-impure?” You said the wrong word and the stutter messed the whole ritual up leading to a annoyed sigh from Yae.

“We have gone over it a thousand times and you still don’t remember? The word is 'come' forth” You felt like she was jabbing at your heart or her words did.

Jab there, jab here.

“That’s not a way to sweep the floorboards, if anything you are just spreading the dust around” One jab.

“Why is your back so bent, posture straight or you’ll look like the shrimp I ate for lunch” Another jab.

You began fearing that you were more of a burden tothe shrine than helping. All these jabs from Yae Miko can’t be a mistake, she must be really annoyed. Not to mention she doesn’t do that with any other of the shrine maidens.

‘Fine! If she thinks I am a burden to the shrine then I won’t be coming’ Hurt, you came to that conclusion and stayed home.

Yae was waiting for you at the shrine. She tapped her foot on the floorboard impatiently before clicking her tongue.

’They must be late or something’ She concluded and went on her roundly checkup to see that everything on the shrine looks alright.

She had waited a while and you still haven't come, much to Yae’s annoyance. If you are sick just tell her. She looked down on the steep mountain however. Okay maybe not.

Eitherway you will probably come tomorrow.

Tomorrow came and you didn’t show up. Yae assumed you were sick and went on about her day.

When a week had gone by Yae didn’t really suspect anything. You could be sick, and from what she has learned humans can be sick for a week sometimes so that is what she assumed happened to you.

However when you didn’t come after that week she became really suspicious.

‘They had better not quit before telling me’ She thought bitterly. Enough was enough she decided and strode down the mountain to get to your house.

You were sitting on the couch of your home wondering if you should try to go to work again. You really wanted to, the job was cool, you loved Yae but what’s the point when she just seems annoyed by every single thing that you did?

Before you could think of finding her she found you first and knocked on your door. You got up and opened it to a menacing smiling Yae and a shiver ran up your spine.

“Well you look fine and dainty as ever. Care to tell me why you have been skipping work?” Yae asked and you inwardly sighed.

“I’m sorry it’s uh, complicated”

“It is nothing that I, Lady Yae Miko, can't understand. I have lived for several of hundred years and encountered many humans, I practically know you humans down to the bone. Now tell me, why have you been skipping work?”

“It’s just…I do like working at the shrine…but” You started slowly and Yae Miko stood there waiting.

“But?”

“I just feel like you are annoyed with me…you say these things” One of Yae Miko’s eyebrow rose and she let out a low questioning hum.

“I wanna work but every little thing I do is wrong. You say it all the time, either my posture isn’t right, I sweep the broom wrong, I’m slow for not knowing where the cleaning supplies are even though it is my first day”

“You…” Yae Miko began but you interrupted her

"I get that if I'm doing something wrong you should tell but the way you say it is really hurtful and minor things like not knowing where the cleaning supplies are on my first day is really...you know?" You nervously vented out in hopes of understanding.

Before Yae made you work she made it very clear to always tell her if something is wrong or if there is something you don't like. Communication is key and she lives strongly by that.

Yae lets out a heavy sigh.

“I see, so that’s what this has been about” You looked up to see Yae who to your surprised look troubled.

“I did say those things yes but I was merely teasing, I didn’t think you would take my words to heart”

“Just a ‘just kidding’ would be fine” You replied a bit sourly.

Yae scratched her head, her brows furrowing as she looked like she really was thinking hard. This was a new side to her you never thought you would see.

”I see now. I am…sorry I didn’t make it clear I was merely teasing. The things I said were far from the truth, I don’t think any of those things. You are hardworking and I see that you try” You stood there taking in Yae’s words. You felt relieved and your heart beated a bit faster.

”I will stop my teasing if it makes you that upset but please come back to the shrine. The mornings without you on the shrine is a lonely one for me” You looked at Yae and giggled. Seeing this side of her was interesting and fun, you couldn’t help but giggle a little.

”Sure, I’d like that” you replied and closed the door behind you.

”Perfect. Come now, I have a lot of new novels I have read the past few days while you were gone that I need to tell you about and when we reach the shrine you will get tea, you have been more than deserving for that”

When she first saw you she knew she had to have you. You had been falsely accused of a minor crime and she knew that you weren’t truly guilty but she was going to do everything in her power to make it look like you are.

She planted evidence, manipulated “witnesses” to give false testimony. It’s not like it took much convincing she is their God after all. They’re powerless against her requests, just like you.

She didn’t fully trust you but she did trust that you were too smart to try and run away, which is why she’d let you go out on dates with her but never by yourself.

She was absolutely appalled when she had taken you out one night and some diplomat from another nation decided to flirt with you.

It was to spite her, that she was sure of.

The person was chatting you up, hand rested on your thigh while you sat and talked. She caught you smiling at whatever conversation was happening between you and this stranger and she was furious.

How dare you?? You never smile at her like that!

Her blood is boiling and she storms over to you, grabbing you tightly by the wrist and pulling you along.

“We’re going home.”

It was the next day and Furina had requested you join her in the court proceedings for that day, a common enough request that you didn’t think much of it.

However your heart drops when you see the man you had been chatting with last night standing before the court. You weren’t friends by any means with the man but you feared for what she was going to do to him…

Oh how you hated the thought of what you were about to do… you shouldn’t indulge her delusions…

You take a deep breath before sidling closer to her, leaning your head on her shoulder. You can see her face flush a bit at the contact, her eyes widening.

“Miss Furina~”

You look up at her with the sweetest look you can manage, taking a piece of her white hair to twirl it between your fingers.

“Y-yes y/n?”

Her face is fully red at this point, going all the way down her neck and up to her ears.

You’ve never been this affectionate before, she felt so nervous she didn’t know what to do with herself…

“Can’t you make this go any faster? I wanna go home…”

I… you what?? She thinks to herself. This feeling is so unfamiliar but she’s relishing every second of it.

In the end she quickly rules the man as ‘not guilty’ in order to speed up the investigation, you wanted to go home and she was going to get you back as fast as possible.

You had quickly grown cold again after a few days and she mourned the loss. She needed to see that side of you again.

She brought another man in this time who she had seen you idly chatting with that morning on your way to meet with her. Unlike the other man he hadn’t done anything wrong but she didn’t care, if suing him got your attention that’s exactly what she was going to do.

You watch during the trial and just sigh to yourself, once again you must set your pride aside to keep her from hurting some poor innocent citizen…

“Furina please don’t do this, you know I only love you~”

You brush your hand against her shoulders, massaging the tense muscles. You can tell she’s off put by your words, not fully trusting them.

So you lean in closer, kissing her on the cheek.

“You…love me?”

She looks up at you, so much love in her eyes and she looks as if she’s about to burst into tears. Sensitive girl 💕

“I do”

Her heart stops. She can’t believe this. You really love her? Had you finally warmed up to her? Are you just so distraught from the situation she’s put you in that you’ve convinced yourself you love her? Either way she doesn’t care. All she cares about is that you’re finally accepting her love.

This becomes a pretty regular occurrence, her bringing in some innocent person and you having to calm her down, convince her of their innocence.

It also becomes a regular occurrence for you to start love bombing her when you want something, you feel bad but it works…

The two of you had gotten in an argument a few weeks ago and she hasn’t let you leave the house since. This is terrible, you feel so trapped being locked up like this.

You hadn’t spoken to her this entire time which only worsened the situation. But by this point you were reaching a breaking point, you were so bored.

You find her at on the couch, reading some book with a frustrated look on her face. You decide to approach her. You sit yourself beside her but she ignores you, staying focused on her book.

“Furina?”

She ignores you again. Oh goodness you hadn’t realized just how badly your fight had upset her…

How were you going to fix this? Sure she was obsessive and she could be too much at times but she had her moments of sweetness… in her own way.

You swing your leg over top of her, straddling her lap. Now that she noticed… you think to yourself as you watch her jaw tighten, breathing uneven.

“Miss Furina?”

You look at her with those big pretty eyes and she curses you, curses those sweet, pleading eyes…

“Why do you need darling?”

Going good so far…

“Can’t we go out again? I miss you, missing going on dates with you…”

You whisper in her ear, hand resting idly on her cheek.

“Please baby?”

Oh you’re just too hard to say no to…

She reaches forward, grabbing your face with her icy hands. She pulls you in close and you can smell something sweet on her breath, had she eaten dessert? That thoughts quickly forgotten as she leans closer.

She kisses you gently on the lips, cautious you’d pull away. But when you eagerly return her kiss she feels at peace, no matter how bad things get nothing will change the way she feels about you in this moment…

“Anything for you my love”.

Thinking about Neuvillette enabling Furina’s obsession with you, justifying it as a simple crush; yet another of her whims, she’ll get bored of you soon enough, he tells himself, but it’s been a little over a year and your presence seems to only cement itself in her life – and his, by association.

He lets her drag you around, unconsciously or not making you into something akin to a lap-dog, never meant to take a part in the countless meetings and private conversations you’re unceremoniously dragged into; always present yet never needed. You fit in quite well with the two of them, he has to admit, with all the blue hues and Fontaine-style clothes she forces you into, though to be fair you’ve always been quite attractive in his eyes.

He tells himself it’s for her sake, after all, hasn’t the woman suffered enough? Years of anguish can’t be erased but maybe your company can help her process of healing, that is quite the logical reasoning, right? But the truth is he’s always been a little too happy to babysit you whenever Furina leaves you in his office on the rare occasions she’s forced to part with you, he is one of the few people she trusts to take care of her beloved. He can’t lie and say he doesn’t see what it is about you that has so helplessly charmed his companion, everyday he spends with you he feels himself understanding her more and more.

He’s heard companions help soothe loneliness and he doubts Furina would put too much of a fuss if he asked to share, not after everything they’ve been through together.

How do you think Archons would react if their lover tried to run away by moving to a diffrent nation? I imagine it isn't that easy to follow them when you have Archon stuff to do.

This was a bit of a fun challenge to do! It really made me think hard while i was writing it :D

Yandere!Venti would seek you out relentlessly. He doesn’t parent over his nation, so he has all the time in the world to chase you. No nation will keep you safe from his endless pursuit. Where the wind can reach, so can he.

Yandere!Zhongli also does not currently parent over his nation, meaning that despite his job at the funeral parlor, he will pursue you. He’ll take a leave of absence, requesting Xiao to come with him as he seeks you out. Whether it takes ten days or ten years, he has all the time in the world to look for you. With Xiao by his side, there’s not a place you could hide that they won’t find you.

Yandere!Raiden would be a bit more difficult. While she can’t just up and leave her nation, as she’s already done that before, now that she’s returned she can’t just up and leave again. She can use her citizens to her advantage though. Utilizing the Kamisato Clan’s connections, she dedicates all her free time to tracking you down, leaving no lead unfollowed and no trace unsearched. When she finally gets a solid trace on your connection, she takes a brief leave to retrieve you herself. Graciously welcoming you back into her home with open, unreleasing arms. 

Yandere!Furina is the most difficult case. She wants to chase after you so badly but due to her role in the court, Neuvillette refuses to let her out to seek you. There will be a sudden rise in robots in neighboring regions, the automatons searching endlessly for any trace of you. When she does finally get a ping back from one of her bots saying they’ve found you, she instructs them to secure you and to stop at nothing to ensure you don’t escape again.

What do you think about Yan! Focalors?

I saw this ask a while back but I decided to first see Furina's personality in-game before answering and mmmm, definitely possible. Though if I ever do include her in any of my writings, I'll be keeping it platonic :>

Furina's life source is the spotlight, she thrives in the very epicenter of attention. At the same time, she seems to have a distinct need for external validation. Her extravagant manner of speech is both her weapon and her shield. If you wish to catch her attention and keep it fixated upon you until a solid foundation of affection can be formed ; you'd need to be a bit of an anomaly. Someone who's a challenge, someone who's not swayed by her provocations and someone who can see through her bravado. What would really change the trajectory of your relationship is, if you'd share a vulnerable moment with her, as as it is seen she prefers to keep her troubles and insecurities to herself.

Furina knows when she likes someone or something enough to make a move, so her initial strategy is to put all sorts of grandiose shows that flaunt her own admirable qualities. There's another reason she chooses this method, that is the pressure that comes from the public and which she hopes would push you to accept her proposals. When that doesn't work and gossip of the Hydro Archon getting rejected spreads like wildfire, Furina is embarrassed. But ever the stubborn one, she employs strategies after strategies to gain your attention and praise (she phrases it as you getting hers instead because of course) and even the tiniest quantity of it has her squealing at the quiet confines of her bedroom.

I think she's one of those characters who get hit by a whole existential crisis the moment they realize they've actually caught feelings for someone. It becomes blatantly clear to bystanders as well, she fumbles with her words, twiddles her thumbs and reacts strongly with matters that concern you. Definitely throws a tantrum if you don't notice the new bow she wore. At the same time, she does thorough research on you from the time you get up for bed to who your first ancestor was. She makes sure to learn about your interests and hobbies and might even start doing them herself to better bond with you. She'd consider those all-nighters worth it if she manages to get even an impressed look from you.

As her affections grow in intensity, she starts expressing her jealousy. She cannot stand you being all buddy-buddy with someone who's obviously lesser than her, she's the better choice! Can't you see?! Thankfully, getting pesky pedestrians out of the picture is easy in Fontaine — given that you know how to use its laws against your enemies. One thing is for certain though, because of the influx of these new and intense emotions, Furina is rather unstable. She'd never physically hurt you (that's just not her thing) but she does take a lot of impulsive decisions that effect the surroundings.

If push comes to shove and you still refuse to reciprocate her love despite all that she's done, her final weapon is the courtroom. Remember? Getting anyone out of the picture is easy if you know your way around the laws of Fontaine and really, who'd look for you at the Hydro Archon's palace if they believed you to be sentenced to lifelong prison?
