Bergen County Zoo is located within the Paramus area of Van Saun Park. The zoo offers knowledge so that people can appreciate and know the importance of wildlife. Paramus Zoo is the home of wildlife from North and South America. The zoo has unusual species such as Andean Condors American Alligators among others

If you want to refresh your mind, then Bergen County Zoo is the place to be. It offers refreshing events throughout the year that you and your family can enjoy. Some of these events include; Casinos night this even is usually for pure adults. This is where people gamble with money and then later are issued with raffle tickets and the end of the night some prizes are won by the participants

For those who are lucky and are registered with the Zoo members, in early June, they usually have a fun Friday where they play music food and have free train rides.

Zoo boo is an event that is held at the zoo. Mostly known as a weekend of ghostly tricks, it is mainly held the weekend before Halloween. During this time, the park is usually decorated, and people have a great time of spooky storytelling. There is also train ride that has scenes of Halloween

The park provides so many activities that people can enjoy it has picnic areas to enjoy you and your family, you can take a train ride.it also offer a playground for table tennis, handball courts dog park among others. I mean in Bergen County Zoo there is something for everyone from the young ones to the old. Not forgetting the many animals that are there such as buffalo, mountain lion and monkey. You can enjoy visiting farm animals such as goats and your children can enjoy feeding them
