My redesign!

Inspo: sport bras, denim, legwarmers.

Inspo for the transformation: algae, layered skirts, fishnets.

I wanted to keep her original green palette while also adding a tint of blue to hint at her powers but also not to confuse her with Bloom’s palette.

Maybe the transformation is more Enchantix than basic, but still here’s my take on her!!

i was so polite here omg i tried too hard to be positive and not too hating (its hard not to be)

i just wanted to say one last thing because thats something i feel a long time, aside the ai designs (and maybe script) i have a uge problem with the animation and its not because its bad (sort of)

the thing is at this point the animation should be (at least) almost ready and so much better than this the series is about to release and it doesnt look properly finished

some scenes look good but others the animation feels rough idk

my biggest problem is it should be so much better now but i feel the first teaser looks better in a way like ?? it looks weird

the impression i got is that they will actually finish all the editing and stuff one day before the realese and still wont be much better

call me crazy but you can see how messy and long its taking by the posters alone the first poster is the winx in their poses but the heads from concepts clearly put in the image like musas head is just weird in her body

and then they changed to the series models

maybe im overthinking and crazy maybe im not you tell me

in conclusion to all this:

i rather wait 5 more years to have a proper and well produced series so the animators and everyone from the creative team could have more liberty and time to finish everything than wait a few months and receive an ai slop they called a reboot

and sometimes (everytime) being a fan is also about criticizing what should be criticized about something/one you like/stan you can still like something/one and not aproving everything its done just because your a fan

again im happy for those who liked the trailer and are excited for the series but i just cant and its such a shame cause i was actually excited for the reboot and happy since that was what i thought the best option for winx

just saw the winx reboot trailer..

i not going to say much about the trailer (is kinda hard to not watch when your part of the fandom and its all over your social media) but overall is not that bad the animation looks fine and its pretty colorful i like that

just wanna point some things:

lesbians (soulmates) finding each other im here for it 🔥​❄️​

but for real it got me curious they way they meet (icy crazy for bloom already love that)

flora i see what your doing and tecna aproves it

i love the trix they look great (i wish they kept a boho 70s vibe for darcy but still)

why icy is looking at her hand like she just touched her soulmate bloom?? (okay okay ill stop)

can i say i find this villain design kinda boring? i dont find him interesting

the winx look good (kinda) i like how colofur they look together its kinda pleasing

aishas outfit is growing on me (her hair looks really pretty better than her ai fairy form 🙄​) i dont like stellas make up its ugly sorry not sorry i think bloom is my favorite she looks the best

to finish this little commentary i must say this:

some scenes look really good but others look so weird/bad idk how to explain but they look like video game graphics not an actual show dont know if your going to agree with me

anyway just wanted to let it out of my mouth what i thought about the trailer since i cant scape from it (hope its the last time a i talk about this reboot but i cant trust myself 🙃​)

im happy for those who are excited for the reboot tho hope they enjoy but i cant

i really hope to only change/add details in the future, because i love them as they are now and i feel like they are not too far off from canon? some of these were a fight, others came in visions to me unsure if i will redesign other transformations in the near future - in the far future for sure tho! first i'd wanna re-design other characters and come up with Faerix - their truly final transformation in my rewrite, coming directly after Enchantix
