You're welcome!! You'll probably see my headcanons in whatever i draw in the future because i'm not done with these two yet hahhah 🫡 I'm pretty much a slave to canon when it comes to shuggy, a lot of the things i enjoy about their dynamic and the tragedy of them relies too much on it!! Funnily enough i'm usually not even into childhood friends as a ship trope but they have so much going on... the mutual pining...the drama...the comedy... the one sided divorce... the mystery of it all adds up into this messy pile of whatever the fuck they got going on and it's an endless source of entertainment for me. Sometimes it's fun to do stuff like the valentines comic (because idk if it exist in the op world... tho there is the names of baroque work agents so uh anything is possible) and of course i've hit them with the yuri beam but even then nothing changes except for the fact that boom they're disaster lesbians pfft

Your valentine post is so cute! Highschool!Shanks is so popular, it's hilarious. But I can't help but imagine them as adults with Shanks finally trying to confess to Buggy but now he's the one receiving tons of chocolate from his coworkers/fans.

Oohh thank you!! And yes..I can picture it too.. Shanks being someone who "peaked in highschool" as they say on tik tok lmao and being used to Buggy not getting the same kind of attention when they're young to have the tables turn later in life and having to face feelings of jealousness for the first time 💀 I think Shanks would be the kind of person who would not show his jealousness out of respect because well Buggy deserves the attention and he would never try to control him like that idk maybe Buggy would take that as a sign that Shanks doesn't really care about him like that after all hAha ok sorry no more tormenting these two with any more miscommunications!
