Day 47 - Withered Bonnie - Youtooz

Okay, I love withered bonnie, I really do, he's one of my favorite designs in the series. But man, this figure just does not do him justice. Frankly, the way they did the eyes is worse than if they just went for the regular youtooz eyes, I wish they were fully red instead of just the two dots in two intents. The ears are far, FAR too small for the model. And i dont know if it was an issue with overspray or something, but my figure is like... scorched black in places and it simply doesnt look natural.

Day 46 - Withered Chica - Youtooz

Okay so, you may critique the Youtooz eyes, however, this is the only merch of Withered Chica that KEEPS HER HEAD IN TWO SEPERATE PIECES. It's honestly incredible. And honestly, the youtooz eyes look fine on the Withered Chica model, because she's always looked a tad goofy. She's such a silly gal!

Day 45 - Doki Doki Literature Club (Nenderoid)

If you make jokes making light of serious topics under this post, you will be blocked immediately.

I am a big fan of Doki Doki, and their designs are perfect, and oh my gosh they translate to nenderoids perfectly! Theyre so cute! They look amazing! I just wish the signs were a bit better (such as the Just Monika sign). The details are perfect, the eyes are flawless, I love them so much!!!

Day 44 - Asuna, Leafa, Yuuki, Sinon, Alice - Banpresto

Would you believe me if I told you I got these because these are alt outfits of the characters in Sword Art Online : Lost Song*?

Yeah- THAT is the level of dork I am.

I bought 5 anime figures because of a PSVita game. I really like Lost Song.

Super well detailed, expressive and a great source of gender envy when I was a teen collecting these lol.

(* I dont actually know where the Alice one originates. These are all ALO designs because they came from Lost Song originally I think. But Alice did not exist at the time of Lost Song... is she from Alicization Lycoris? I need to catch up...)

Day 43 - Sinon (Shino Asada) - Banpresto

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I am sucker for flowy and puffy dresses, and wedding dresses certainly fit that critera. AND OH MY GOSH THE DETAILS!!! The lace is detailed, theres so many layers, its so good!!!!

Day 42: Leafa (Suguha Kirigaya) - Banpresto

Back when I first started collecting, this was my favorite figure. She was such a large figure, and had such intricate detailing that I absolutely loved it. Now I question the intentions of the sculptor putting as much detail as they did into the tummy and armpits, but hey, the figure looks really good, so I thank that person for adding those odd details.

Day 41: Alice Synthesis Thirty - (Unknown Brand)

This figure is from the Bed Scenes of Alice from Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris. As someone who grew up playing the SAO games, this instantly raises my opinion of it. It also has some lovely transparancy effects on the nightgown, good detailing on the face and ribbons, and overall is just a solid figure.

Day 40: Kazuto Kirito Kirigaya - Banpresto

Surprise Extra Post! This was a $5 pickup at the flea market and woooo boy I love it!

This girl is SO CLOSE to being perfect, the detailing on the swords and cloak are perfect!!! But why is the mouth done so bad??? Seriously, if they just didnt add the line there for the mouth, it would have looked so much better. it looks orange instead of pink, its in an improper position, and it just makes it look so much cheaper. luckily its mostly obscured but jeez, they really took a 10/10 and made it into a 7. Other than that, I have one complaint. For such an accurate figure, they overlook one important detail of Kirito's design.

They always have a shirt slightly too small, revealing just a bit of tummy. It's like a constant thing with their design. This figure is a coward and tucks their tshirt into their pants.

I’m most likely gonna branch out into figures and plushies on this account, which is great since we have these lovely matching sets of MHA animal characters in both flocked figurines and plush forms. Typically I’m not a huge fan of flocked items as they tend to attract dust very easily, and their texture gives me sensory issues, but I’m more than willing to grab these because of how cute they are. The plushies look great too! The Ochaco cat looks so soft! I’m super excited to see these in the future!

For a long time, fans have been making comic/manga shading figure customs, and it’s super cool to see that concept become a retail project here.

It’s an expensive figure, but I think I’ll have to pick this one up. Preemptively rating a 10/10

Chokonokko MHA Figures

I saw these over a month ago and went "Oh boy! little figures of all of 1A, these would be some fun things to get, theyre only an inch or two tall too, so theyd be easy to collect them all"...

they didnt have a USA release, and each individual figure now sells for $30-$70USD on ebay

i really wanted to pick up some of the friends who dont have many figures, like Mina, Tooru, Shoji and Koda, but like. yikes that is a price to be sure...

Day 39 : Shino Sinon Asada - Banpresto

Cat maid with blue hair and pronouns.

Given that I started collecting figures of femininity out of gender envy this may have actually helped crack my egg and turn me into the catgirl i am today.

In all seriousness, the mold is great, the detailing is great, the design is lovely, her expression is an adorable pouty annoyance, and the pose is unique and nice.

Day 38: Yuuki Konno - Banpresto

I love Yuuki. I'm so glad she's alive and happy and healthy (thank you gameverse aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)

This is a fun figure. The pose is super fun especially! She has a lot of detail, and she successfully pulls off a molded mouth without looking unnatural. The use of translucent materials works wonders.

Day 37 - Megumin - FREEing

So I have not seen Konosuba, I will admit. What I have seen is a massive nearly foot tall figure for $15 at a garage sale, which I bought instantaneously.

She is the tallest figure I own. She is big, she uses real materials in the design, real fishnets and real latex. She is amazing!

Day 36 : Suguha Kirigaya - Banpresto

I'm not sure why but since I got it, this has been one of my favorite figures. Maybe because it is of Suguha, one of my favorite characters. But she looks PERFECT! Her eyes are so detailed, the molding is phenomenal, the extra detailing is perfect!

Day 35: Asuna Yuuki (ALO) - Banpresto

Man, this figure is so close to being perfect, but it has one huge drawback. Now, I am missing some of the accent pieces as this figure is second-hand (as is most of my collection) but the water effects would not change my score. This Asuna has an amazing mold, the plastic quality is great, the posing is phenomenal, and gosh, the coloring of the hair is DIVINE. But her mouth looks terrible, and the eyes are printed too low and too far apart. She's so close to being a solid 10/10 with tweaks, but the face just didnt come out right here.
