The people who say this shit seriously don't know how hard it is. Countless hours of writing and rewriting and going over and over. Then putting it all on a page. And then reworking that until I'm satisfied.(and I'm RARELY satisfied.)

My characters really seem to have an affinity for David Bowie.

To be fair, Debra's whole design is based off of him. Solek was inspired to learn Federation standard and join the fleet when he heard Starman by David Bowie. Erilol's backstory is reminiscent of Rebel Rebel.

I love creating. Not only for myself, but for those like me. To see the light in someone's eyes when they go "hey, I like that too!"

To inspire them.

To have them see themselves in my characters.

To create not a perfect world, but one that is hopeful. Neither quite utopian or dystopian, but hopeful.

To the people who enjoy this, and will be with me through this project, I love you. And I hope you love you too.

I know I may not now have that reach, but one day, I wish to. Even if it is but one person, I hope they may feel this.
