hi!! i love your art so much, can i ask how you do the black and white halftones on your comics and stuff? it looks so cool 😭🤍

OH i use clip studio paint so i have some brushes i've downloaded that do that effect!

the ones i use the most are from this set:

plus various default materials for texture! the ones above, i tend to color everything one flat color and then erase at the edges or up for lighting w the brushes :D

every program should probably have a version of this though, if it's not a default then it's other people providing brushes and materials for the program and it still works out -- the only one i can help with though is firealpaca/medibang (free programs)

these were all drawn without reference btw. i can just. Understand Hands now (for the most part, im sure theres definitely inaccuracies). im a little baffled

Small artists you need to understand that when you see an artist who you think has 'made it' tells you not to worry about the numbers and to not fret about getting more likes than reblogs they are not telling you it because they think you are stupid for caring or because they dont need to network to survive they are very likely telling you that because they have witnessed first hand the way the numbers game tears people to shreds in terms of mental health and motivation
