A little art piece I did for my fic Delusion of Fate! Luke is an OC-insert here, doing everything he can to avoid his fate (hence the fic’s title). That’s why he doesn’t have his scar. And the god? That’s Mercury. Not Hermes. I’m not a fan of the whole “Greek = Roman” equation, so I decided to separate them entirely in this fic. So don’t panic—yes, the mystery man is Mercury.

Summary:
Luke Castellan had lived once before. In the before, he was a she, and she had once read a book series where gods were real and monsters ran around creating chaos.
It was a fun read.
It wasn’t so fun living it. Especially as the villain.
He wasn’t so worried, he was pretty sure he could change his fate. It was a simple plan: don’t act like book Luke.
He was a firm believer of free will, you see.
But in a place where Fate is personified, it was proving to be a little bit more difficult than expected to enact this plan.
