The writer of the fic, AyaAya (twbwy_hachitwisters), and her friend, WindyKazea, were inspired by the official Halloween art that was released to promote the TWEWY anime, and the result is a wonderfully written, long-running story that captures the characters I love and adore so perfectly, in a magical witchy setting that's super fun and interesting to read about. I highly recommend checking it out if you love anything TWEWY. It's so, so good! 

I went out of my comfort zone a bit with this one by trying to keep it close to the drawing style of the TWEWY games and anime, though with some of my usual touches. It's hard to capture the series' iconic stylishness and flair, but even so, I like what I managed to do!

Shiki’s incredible. She turns the smallest ideas into complete clothes. She’s skillful, sensitive, and a hard worker. I think she had more talent than me. But I couldn’t find the right way to tell her. I really hurt her. You see, Shiki was worrying that she wasn’t good at designing clothes. So, I tried to downplay it. I said, “You’re not meant to be a designer. You’re a great seamstress, anyway.”  I wanted to apologize right away. I was going to say sorry first thing the next morning. But now… I can never see her again. The clothes I design only become real when Shiki makes them for me. So… I can’t do it without Shiki.
