I feel as though my writing is all heartcanon and when my collegue questions it I get in my feelsy boat and sail across the salty salty ocean.

Headcanon: I can muster a cogent argument for why it would make more sense or make for a better story if this were the case

Heartcanon: I don’t have a particular rationale for why this ought to be the case, I just like to imagine it’s true because it gives me the warm fuzzies

Gutcanon: it’s not that I actively want this to be the case – it just unaccountably feels like it should be

Junkcanon: I like to imagine it’s true because it gives me the other kind of warm fuzzies

I just started watching it and I love it already

There’s this kid’s show on Netflix called “Hilda” and it’s actually really cute and magical and witchy…it’s about a little girl who befriends and talks to various spirits and creatures, and in every episode she helps them in some way.

I did not know that in 7 states in America, you can carry out an abortion the day before you give birth (allows abortion at any time). That’s so fucking disgusting. And other states allow abortion up to 28 weeks. That’s not a ball of cells no more, that’s a damn baby. It’s good that abortion is legal but not the fucking late into the pregnancy 😷😷 nasty

Looking through some old journals from middle school

In short, I found the first fanfic I ever wrote and let me tell you it is wild from start to unfinished end. Its a crossover between Naruto, Kingdom Hearts and a handful of OCs. Nothing but a complete run-on for the whole 10 pages of clustered hot mess.

I cringed the entire time.

There was no plot, not even a real beginning. And of course, my middle school self left it on a sentence I never finished.

Will that underdeveloped character get with Naruto? Will Sasuke stop kissing random people? Why was kingdom hearts involved in this? Why didn't I have a plan for this? What was I doing with my life?

I don't understand how I am such a punctuation freak when my work used to look like this steaming pile of regret.

Air drumming looks hard

My fiance is a drummer. He has large headphones on. Paying him no mind, I'm watching something pointless on my tablet when I see him out of the corner of my eye, drumming agressively. I look over and realize that he is practicing a hard song and all I can hear is his heavy breathing. I love this nerd.

Both Belle and Cinderella (especially Cinderella) famously have hairstyles that hide their ears for the entirety of their movies.
