Christophe’s Bio and Headcanons

Christophe ‘The Mole’ DeLorne

Birthdate: April 24th Current Age: 15 Currently Lives In: South Park, Colorado, USA (not too far outside of town)

Clothes: Christophe has an unkempt appearance, much to the annoyance of others. He smells, doesn’t bathe regularly, doesn’t comb his hair and bites his nails which Gregory CANNOT stand. Christophe has a lot of moles/beauty marks on his body, mostly on his face. He also has very hairy legs and discolored teeth. He has bags, including barely noticable wrinkles around his eyes. He still manages to look somewhat attractive.

Christophe wears an old, black leather jacket with a dark green shirt under with a white circle with the number 67 on it. His jacket has a white line on each side and has 2 front pockets full of cigarettes and cigarette packs. On his right hand, he wears and old watch.  He wears camo cargo shorts with some keys attached. He wears dirty white socks and brown J.MYER boots.

Christophe has quite a few piercings. He has two black rings and a grey stud on his right ear and later on gets a septum ring and a tatoo. It drives his mother INSANE. He gets a lot of cuts and brusises so he ends up with some bandages and band aids here and there. Its common to see dirt on his face and a cigarette in his mouth. Christophe also carries around a black backpack full of clothes, a pair of knee high boots, cigarette packs, a rope, pliers, binoculars, a lighter, magazines ;) etc. He carries around his shovel at all times.

Parents: He has a single mother. He never knew his dad. Christophe’s mother, Susanne DeLorne, was raised in a Christian family and once had a one night stand with some guy and was blessed with…pregnancy. Knowing she couldn’t go to her parents, she attempted an abortion all by herself by stabbing her unborn son with a clotheshanger while he was still in the womb.

She wasn’t too happy with a son and was very strict with him until his teens. She was a strict Christian and would get very displeased with her son if he ever spoke negatively of God or Christianity in general, often grounding him for doing so. Christophe was terrified of her as a child but as he got older, he began to care less and did his own thing. This makes her very angry and whenever he goes out and comes back with piercings and such, she goes insane on him. They still have an unstable relationship.

Nationality: French Religion: Misotheism (believes in God but has a hatred for him and christianity)

Likes: Soda pop, Pip, Damien, Gregory, the zoo, Kyle Broflovski, cats, adventure, making up strategic plans, boxing, hanging out with Gregory, tall women, La Resistance, learning about history, learning about wars, acting, theater, being badass, high heels, comedy, ranting to Gregory, doing illegal things, laughing, telling dirty jokes, annoying/teasing Gregory, pranks/pranking Gregory, his shovel, old French music, La Mer by Charles Trenet, action movies, cars and motorcycles, camo,  operating in covert operations, ranting to his friends, not caring, nightime, dinosaurs, bread, causing trouble with Damien and more.

Dislikes: Arguing with Pip, his mom’s cooking, being laughed at, Eric Cartman, God, Christianity, dogs, his mom, when people point out that he snorts when he laughs, the idea of 'working’,  bleeding to death, 'frenchism’, dank memes, when people complain about his appearance, people who fail to follow directions, idiots, people who talk alot and more…

(Christophe looks older for his age so he gets away with entering 18+ restricted areas like strip clubs, bars, buying cigarettes, etc.)

LOTF Characters Playing Cards Against Humanity:

Jack: Basically being a general dick and absolutely loving it. Lots of sexual remarks clearly directed at Ralph. Competitive asf. Obnoxious sniggering.

Roger: Concerningly, ends up with most of the cards associated with terrorism and mass shootings. Low-key finds Maurice funny but won’t show it. Maintains a stony expression throughout the game. Nobody knows whether he’s kidding or not.v

Ralph: Uses the entire game to throw shade. Cares less about winning than making sure Jack doesn’t. Tries not to laugh at Piggy’s reactions. Evil genius with the blank cards.

Piggy: Got roped into playing by Ralph. High-key huffy about the whole thing. Definitely does not have a dark sense of humour. Disappointed in everyone. Highly unnerved by Roger’s behaviour.

Maurice: Not all that competitive. Dickish sense of humour. More concerned with trying to offend Piggy than winning. Shouldn’t be allowed to hang out with Jack, their banter is lethal.

Samneric: SO many pop culture references. Probably get all the shitty cards. Playing as a team. Inside jokes that only each other understand. Have a running gag with Maurice over who can quote the most cringeworthy vines.

Simon: Surprised everyone by wanting to play. “You guys are all terrible.” Feels kind of bad for laughing. Pretends not to understand Maurice’s innuendos. Roger’s the only one who catches him trying not to smile.

what i think of Roger

I loved Roger, the book, critics and fandom promised me a psycho and I got a psycho, and honestly he is the only savage who truly shine during the second half of the book, i love his simple but well written character arc, it starts in Ch4 in the scene he throws rocks at Henry, we see Roger is weird guy who is suppressing his homicidal instincts because he know he would be punished in a normal society, my book specifically say that said society doesn’t know nothing about Roger, this makes me theorize maybe Roger has some mental illness or Roger has some fucked up past.

Roger seems attracted by violence and he starts to follow the strongest and most violent guy in the group, Roger seems to relate to Jack, because he is also a repressed blood thirsty social outcast; Roger seems even to feel some emotions for Jack, like he smile at Jack, he the first one to follow Jack after he leaves Ralph’s group and Roger killed Piggy because he was an obstacle for Jack’s regime, Roger liked that regime because he was in a powerful position as Jack’s right hand man and because violence was allowed, in that way Roger could embrace his evil nature

I also really like his relationship with Jack because it’s a subversion of the “emotionless guy feels emotions for someone” trope, unlike most example Roger feels emotions for the devil himself, and best of all, Jack doesn’t influence too much, Roger isn’t Jack’s evil puppet at all, Roger really likes Jack’s evil dictatorship but he’s not like he agrees with everything, for example after Simon’s death, the book says Roger hated that party and almost wanted revenge, and after talking with Robert and knowing Jack was beating up Wilfred for no apparent reason Roger literally consider if Jack is a irresponsible leader or no.

This scene is important IMO, because it shows Roger is aware Jack is a irresponsible bad leader but he doesn’t care as long he can do him what he want, and It shows Roger is probably the sanest man in Jack’s tribe, and it’s hilarious.

Roger’s motto on the island is “what i’m doing is wrong, i know it’s wrong, but i’m gonna do it anyway”
