My favorite thing about the hero of legend is the sheer number of times he has fought Ganon.
The first time he did was in ALttP, his debut as the hero. Ganon wasn't too hard a fight in that game (imo). But he was just a kid like many of the heroes who came before him. What makes this fight even funnier is the fact that Ganon killed the hero of time in this timeline. He fumbled SO HARD.
The second time he fought Ganon was not technically Ganon but still kinda. In Link's Awakening during the final boss fight in the Wind Fish's egg the nightmare takes the form of Ganon. I personally think that this was Link's own fear of the pig man shining though into the dream realm of the wind fish. Along with Ganon the nightmare will take the form of agamen ( lol did not spell that right) from ALttP. So the connection is definitely there
The third and final time the hero of legend faces off against Ganon is in ALBW. Now again it wasn't really Ganon but instead Yuga fusing with Ganon's soul. So it was still technically Yuga but Ganon was still there too. I think more or less the hatred Ganon still held for Link was what made Yuganon so powerful in the first place.

OMG YESSSSSSSS
I want Wild and Wars to exit this dungeon as the best of friends. I want them to be so close it’s insufferable. They have inside jokes, they’re finishing each other's sentences. Wild gets up early to run drills with Warriors. Warriors tags along on hunting trips with Wild. Hyrule offers to help Wild cook, “Sorry, Warriors already offered.” Wind asks to borrow something, “Sorry sailor, Wild already asked.” Twilight is jealous, Legend is so annoyed.

I've already spoken about how I view the fierce deities mask and transformation formation magic as a whole but I have more to say about it.
__________
Basically Time's mask is not evil. How could it be? It was made from all the gratitude of the people of Termina, so I can't comprehend how it could be evil. Besides Time uses it A LOT in Hyrule Warriors soooooo. Yeah not evil and I will die on this hill so sue me. He also has markings on his face that came from the fierce deities mask. Probably from extended use. Its still powerful magic which will leave a mark on the user. 🪄🪄
Twilight also has markings on his face also probably due to extensive use. Wolfie is something he holds near and dear to his heart. It's one of the only things he has left from Midna, so he uses it a lot. It's also extremely useful. Like the fierce deities mask this particular type of transformation magic does not hail from his home land, it comes from the Twili realm. It stands to reason that it works differently from transformation magic that comes from Hyrule.
Four, unlike Twilight and Time, doesn't have marks on his face. Instead another physical mark is apparent, his height. It's no secret that Four is short, he is as tall as a 10 year old. He hasn't grown an inch in six years if we assume he's 16 during Linked universe. Yet again we see transformation magic that is not from Hyrule, but the Piccori (not sure I spelled that right) realm. So, yeah, it makes sense for it to affect something like his height. it did shrink him after all.
Hyrule has the ability to change into a fairy at will. While not confirmed if he has markings I think he shouldn't for one major reason. His magic comes from his kingdom. It makes sense to me that the magic he uses would make no visible markings if the magic came from his own land. Hyrule's magical ability is leagues above everyone else's so he would have a larger tolerance to it as well.
_________4
These are just my thoughts and opinions I have on transformation magic. I would like to know what other people think too though so share please!!!! THANKS FOR READING!!!!!

head cannon that when the chain eventually ends up in the Era of the Wilds and meet the Champian's friends Pura FREAKS. like she sees 8 people come into Look Out Landing all Bering the Triforce of courage, and one carring the Master sword she launches her self at Wild and demands answers. He gives them but hes really bad at it. Like he knows what he is trying to say and all the other heroes seem to understand too but Puara and Zelda are left with notes that make no sense and have to peice it together by themselves cuz Wild took everyone to the depths or to the sky islands.
BONUS!! Sidon showes up and completly understands what his best friend ment and help translate.
Heroes: *Absolute gibberish on what they have been doing for the past 3 months* "Okay bye! we're going to go to the Hebra Mountains to sheild surfe!!!"
Pura Sweting: "WAIT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?????"
Zelda crying on the ground: "Just let them go Pura we can't do anything now"
Sidon: "Oh hey that sounds cool. is that where Link has been this whole time?"

The Desert Goddess?
I watched a video from Zeltik about the Goddess of the sand from OoT. I really liked it and if you haven't seen it I recomend go checking it out. It's a theory about how the Goddess depicted in and on the spirit Temple might be Din, one of the three Golden Goddesses and the Goddess of power. I have my own thoughts and interpretations that I will depict in this Fic! LETS GO!!
__________
The nine heroes went from a serene flowery field to the harsh desolate wastland that is the Gerudo Desert. Unfortunately for the band of travelers they were sent to the middle of a raging sand storm, "Is this your era, Champion?" The Smith asked, shielding his eyes form the granules of rock and glass, "Don't know. My Pura Pad isn't working." The Young Knight responded. The group went back and forth on the matter at hand until the Old Man shut them up.
"This is my era." Their oldest spoke softly as though not to disterb the sand swerling around them, "How do ya know?" The Vertran questioned. He was the only one standing up looking around. The Vet seemed very unbothered by the whole ordeal, "I can see the Spirit Temple in the distance. Its not too far away. We could take shelter there until the storm wares down." With that they were off. The Old Man was right it was only about a ten or so minute walk. They reached the temple's entrance and looked up.
Towering above them was a large statue of a woman with a snake curling around her. Her face was unreadabul, yet the heroes could sense something sinister about her depiction. Just as they walked in they were attacked. Five women surrounded them weapons sharp and aimed to kill. The Oldest smiled at what looked to be the ring leader, "Good day to you too, Nabooru." Again his voice was calm, his body language relaxed. He did not see these women as threats.
"Gerudo Warriors?" The Champion looked around his own wepon lowering as though he knew the red heads, "Warriors?" the woman the Old Man referred to Nabooru asked, "No one has every called my people that before. I've heard many things shuch as skank, theif, cunt. Never something so dignified." the Kight looked at her then paused, "Right, not my era." He brought his hand to the back of his head, and scratched his neck.
The Old Man chuckled and started to explain who these young men were with him until a loud shriek was herd from behind him. The Vet stood there with a young Gerudo girl. Her arm clasped firmly in his hand. Nabooru looked at the young girl and asked, "What are you doing? I know this man." She pointed at the Old Man, "He would not bring people in here if he did not trust them." Nabooru started to walk over to the Vet and the gril, "That should be your first clue to not antagonize. Why do you think the others dropped their weapons?" The child stayed silent, "Well? Are you going to answer me?"
Tensions were calmed, and the young girl who's name was Norru apologized to the seasoned hero. It was revealed that she had attempted to take the Vets dagger that he always kept on his waist. Nabooru invited the band of heroes further into the temple, as they walked through Sky noticed a smaller version of the statue that towered over the entrance, "Who's that Old Man?" Sky questioned still staring at the Monument, "That's the Goddess of the Sand." Norru answered. She sounded smug and her body language confermed this.
"Does she have another name?" This time the Smith asked turing his gaze to Nabooru hoping to get a kinder answer. And just that happened, "You all may know her as Din the Goddess of Power." The Older Gerudo answered. The Old Man paused and turned around, "Really?" He was surprised, which everyone but the Vet thought was quite unusual. "Yeah figured you didn't know, you would've told us if ya did. Eh, Old Man?" the Veteran had a slay grin plastered on his face. "Did you know?" Sky question his decentednt, "Nah, I just figured she was a diffrent depiction of a familiar Goddess." He responded.
The Sailor was staring at the statachue with great intent, "Do you reconize it Sailor?" Rancher looked at the younger hero, his eyes were wide, full of wonder. "This is the Goddess Din?" The Salior asked again, "She looks so..." his voice traild off. Salior really started to think about it at that moment. "She looks so mean and cold. Nothing how she is depicted in our creation myth." He turned to the others, all were now examining the face of the statue.
Sky, who was now at the front look apone the stone monument with cold eyes, "She looks evil." he said no hint of emotion in his voice. Sky turned to the Gerudo and asked, "Why does she look like that?" his eyes were kinder more understanding now. Nabooru responded to the first hero with the same tone, "We live in the desert, what do you expect? Our home is hot and harsh, if you can't adapt and over come you will die." She said this with so much conviction that it wasn't even questioned anymore.
"So what, this is just how your people see the Goddess of Power?" the Captain finally asked after a long moment of silence. Nabooru looked in his direction then back at the statue, "Yes, though we see her as more fierce than how you Hylian's would depict her, she is still our Goddess, and we know she protects us." The Vet scoffed at that. The heroes knew that he was not particularly fond of the Goddesse. But to everyones shock Sky, the first hero, started to laugh as well.
"They don't protect us, all they do is send children to fight wars for them." The Vet had a cold hard stare plastered on his face. He had been through more shit then anyone else. He was a scape goat for the gods, a small innocent child, gullible. Nothing could convince him otherwise, all he had seen from gods and deities has been nothing short of Immoral, and Sky agreed. Sky had seen what a power tripping god can do, he has interacted with more deities than all the other heroes. They could not bring themselves to think anything else.
"Gods and deities are assholes, I Should know." The Old Man spoke to his brothers with kind eyes and a reasuring voice, "The Golden Three created this world and us, then left it to be cared for by an angle who wasn't strong enough to protect it." His face got darker as he continued, "They then resorted to their creations for help instead of just doing it themselves." The Old Man patted The Veteran and Sky on the shoulder and turned them away from the statue. The other heroes looked apone their brothers with simpothetic eyes. Each of them had been the victims of the gods own selfish game. All of them knew each others pain.
Nabooru was staring at the ground, a look of remorse apone her face, "I am sorry, I shouldn't have-" she was cut off by the Rancher "It's fine, really. We get it, most see the gods as though they could do no wrong." He patted the Gerudo woman on the shoulder trying to comfort her. "Still, I know what Link has gone through. I just... I don't know what I'm trying to say." the Old Man pulled her into a short but sweet hug smiling down at her. "Not your fault" he said shaking her shoulders a little. She giggled and shook him back.
The further they went into the temple the more remnants of Ganon they found. The Old Man had told them that this temple had been The Dark King's Fortress for awhile. Along with Ganon's belogings, they also found more smaller statues of the Sand Goddess. They were strewn about the large room they stepped into almost like they were thrown in here for nothing. Norru ran through the great hall gathering up the tiny statues, picking up each one with a tender hand. She then gentaly placed them back on the pedestals that surrounded the room.
"I have a question for you, the one with the pelt across his shoulders..." Norru was facing away from the band of heroes looking at the last statue she put up. "Though you didn't have much to say on the matter, I still want to know what you think of the Golden Three." The Rancher stayed silent for what felt like hours, then he spoke, "I have no opinons on Nayru or Farore, Din is a diffrent story though." his voice was soft and shallow almost as though he were giving a secret that could end his life.
"In my era Ganondorf was to be executed. The Sages of Old were given the task, and brought the evil king to The Arbiter's Grounds where he would take his final breath." he continued to lower his voice, "This was a couple hundred years before I was born, so I don't know a lot. However, what I do know is that once Ganon was impaled with a Sage's sacred blade he gained ungodly strenth, killed the sage of water, and escaped confinement. With nothing left to do the remaining sages banished him to the Twilight Relm, causing their people to suffer."
So much was said in so little time. The heroes were never ones to talk about their adventures like how the Rancher just did. "What does that have to do with Din? Are you just salty that she didn't step in to help? Or are you mad because the old bastered killed a sage?" Norru had whipped herself around to look at the much taller Hylian her eyes full of tears. "Ganondorf only escaped because the Triforce of Power appeared apone his hand. He should have been dead, but he lived for so many more years because the gods decided to give him the power to. That Divine Prank ruined so many lives, It destroyed my kingdom and my home."
The Rancher's voice was calm, too calm. He looked at the Gerudo girl her mouth agape, tears falling to the ground. She and the other Gerudo looked at the Rancher as though he just killed their dog. The other heroes were just as shocked though that did not last long. Almost everyone of them had fought Ganon with the Triforce of Power. He stole it from many of them, but to hear that the gods bestowed it upon him was gutrenching.
"That Is what I have to say about Din." is all more the Rancher had to say. the topic was dropped and the group continued farther into the temple. They go to the Gerudo camp and Nabooru explained to everyone else who the young men and boys were.
As they were getting ready to sleep away the sandstorm that was still raging Norru apered behind the heroes. No one turned to great her, they didn't need to. They knew why she was here, "I'm sorry." her voice was barely a whisper but they heard, "Thank you" the Rancher turned to look her in to eye. The heroes would be warmly welcomed the rest of the time they were in the Gerudo Desert.

head cannon that the vet is extremely flexible. Like to the point that its scarry. I'm sure everyone has that one friend that just bends in weird ways that can't be explained.
He traveled with a circus in one of the mangas, so obviously he would be able to do many things that would total freak his brothers out. Like walk really fast on his hands, balance on tight ropes (Rancher and Sky can too tho), or other creepy thing that he learns from Din and her troop.
BUT he doesn't tell anyone. So all they rest see is their brother/ descendent/ predecessor being a weirdo who can bend and contort his body in ways that make him look like demon. Like can you imagin??? Cuz i can! The rest would be so confused. They would be in battle or something and the Vet is is fighting like 3 on 1 ok? and then he just roundhouse kicks a boko in the face launches himself off of it into the air flips and takes out the other 2.
Veteran: Does an insane 'pro gamer move'
Everyone else: "???? how the fuck did he do that???"

OMG, this literally made me cry 😭😭😭😭 incredible work!!!!
Waiting... Waiting....
Most of the Chain had experienced crossing boundaries between worlds. It was part of the Hero's Spirit almost, same as the Sword or breaking pots. They had crossed Time, Realms, Ages and Eras...some of them had crossed reality itself.
But until now, none of them had crossed the veil to the Netherworld. Frankly they could've done without it, Wild felt. But that option was taken from them, the moment this swirling vortex of souls appeared in his Hyrule, in the ruins of Castle Town every night. Flora had been receiving reports of Spirits wandering around, reenacting their last moments when the Calamity struck.
Searching. Waiting.
Waiting to die...waiting to live...waiting for mercy...that hadn't manifested.
Waiting for the Princess and the Hero who failed to save them.
Waiting....
Now it was Wild's turn, standing in the broken structures of life, from that day one century ago. The result of his own failure. The others were staying close to him - Twilight never more than two steps away.
It seems like it was his turn to be overprotected for the day. He was sure Wind didn't mind the change.
There wasn't much to be protected from, though. The spirits were not aware of them, stuck in an eternal loop of events. For some it was their everyday life. For others it was the moment life turned into horror. If the spoke, it was the same things, over and over again.
"What a lovely day...."
"He proposed....!"
"Their coming....!"
"Run for your lives....!"
They weren't dangerous...just heartbreaking.
"Purah believes that the whatever their last thoughts were when they...passed...is the main source of their Echo," Flora spoke in a hollow voice, without the joy researched and discovery normally brought to her tones. "And whether or not their peaceful..."
They carried on. Down roads that lead to the quarters where Knights lived with their families. Roads Wild didn't recall, couldn't remember -
"Waiting...."
Until one voice stopped him as dead as a Guardian's blast. Everything stopped, his boots, his blood, his body his bones. Wild's felt his Sheikah Slate slipping from his hand, clanging senseless to the charred ground.
That voice.
It couldn't...
"It can't be," he whispered, not seeing Flora cover her mouth in horror. Not feeling Twilight lay a hand on his shoulder, the rest of the Chain crowding close.
"Cub?" his mentor asked, low and concerned. "What is -"
"Waiting...."
Wild stared at flickering form of a woman, who was looking out the burned out doorway of what once had been her house - the house of her husband, captain of the guard. She was a slender woman in the blue day dress of a Knight's wife, with sandy blond hair tossed in a messy braid, her delicate features weary. She looked up towards the castle, as she had everyday she saw him.
Wild had no flashback. He didn't need one.
"Mama?" his voice cracked. Behind him, the Chain exclaimed, gasped, cursed.
"Waiting...." the Echo vibrated though them all, lovely as a wind-chime, just as haunting. "Link, when you come home I'll be waiting....even if you're the last thing I see, I'll be waiting...."
By that time, Wild had yanked himself free from Twilight's tightening grip, the fabric of his champion's tunic ripping. He didn't noticed. Nor did he care.
"I'm right here, Mom," he gasped, pleaded, trying to grasp her hands. But there was nothing solid to grab. His desperate clutching passed right through her. "Can't you see? I'm -"
"Waiting...." his mother Echoed, gazing sadly at the castle, with the same sky blue eyes she had passed onto her son.
Wild dropped to his knees, the breath torn out of him throat tight, gaze blurring.
He took too long...
"I'm sorry," he choked, wept. "I'm so s-sorry Mama -"
"I'll always love you...."
"I didn't mean to go so far -"
"I'll stay in your heart...."
"I didn't m-mean to keep you -"
"Waiting...." his mother whispered, her soft words thrumming like cricket wings: the same voice that hummed his lullabies, that taught him his letters, that kissed his bruises and blew raspberries on his stomach. "Waiting..."
Dawnlight began to creep over the roof of the world, signalling the time where the Spirits would vanish until the following night. Desperate to deny this, Wild's hands shot on, trying to hold his mother's skirts - even as they dissolve like mist through his fingers.
As though Allana, mother of the Hero, was never there all. Wild slumped, and did not resist as Twilight's arms wrapped around him, hauling him close to his chest, not letting go.
"Good-bye Mama," Wild whispered.

"Decendent?"
Another Linked Universe fic! This one mostly follows Sky and Veteran and them finding out their realated to each other! OHHHH DRAMA!!!!!!! What I live for. Anywho Remember I like constructive criticism please give it to me!!! LETS GO!!
__________
The Captain and Sky were leading the group of heroes through a deep and thick forest not unlike what they saw in the Old Man's era. This world's magic was not known to them though. No one could recognize the landscape or the towns and people. They were in an era between them. All seemed peaceful even in the forest they're traversing. Finally they came to a clearing.
"Hey guys!" Sky yelled at the other seven people behind him and his companion. "There's a clearing with a town!" The other heroes picked up their pace and stopped next to the two leading them. "Wow, it looks so pretty!" The Sailor said scanning the area. "Indeed, lets us go and see it up close." The Old Man insisted. And off they went. The walk was about 20 minutes from the forest they were in. The worn path they took led straight to the entrance of the largeish town that was brimming with people.
A large market is what met them when they walk in, the sign at the entrance said in big bold letters Welcome to Eldercreg. "Eldercreg?" The Veteran repeated, "Do you recognize the name?" The Champion asked, turning to his brother. "Nah, just thought it was an odd name." Vet answered, waving his hand at Champion. "Welcome!!" A shout was heard from over the crowd. The heroes looked around to try to find the source of the loud greeting. A young woman reveals herself from the hoard of shoppers.
"Hi ya'll! My name's Ellyn, and welcome to the town of Eldercreg! Are ya travelers?" Ellyn said this with the brightest smile on her face, the Vet thought he was going to puke. The warmth radiating from her was sickening. The Old Man stepped up the Rancher and Sky closed behind him. "Yes Ms. Ellyn, we are. Could you give us the location of an inn please?" He tried to sound subtle, but was quickly failing. "if it's not too much trouble could you tell us where to stock up on some potions as well." Sky added, he was better at being kind to strangers. "Why, of course! My family owns an Inn in the center of town, y'all are welcome to stay there!"
Ellyn stepped forward cupping her hands around the Sailor's face examining him as though she had known him his whole life, then moved on to the Smith. "You two are awful young to be traveling with these young men." Ellyn's hands were still holding the Smith's face a tender look in her eyes. "Hate to burst your bubble lady, but I'm sixteen." The Smith said pulling away from her grasp. "And I'm Fithteen!" Sailor added. "Really? is that true?" She looked to the Old Man who nodded his head in response, an amused smile plastered on his face. "Well I'll be! You two are pretty small, then again most of ya are. Are y'all perhaps related?" Some looked offended or laughed at Ellyn's remark, then she beckoned them to follow her to the Inn.
on the way to the inn Ellyn asked again. "Are y'all related or at the very least some of ya?" She asked the Rancher the closest to her right. To which he replied "Only me and the Old Man are. The rest of them are friends." Ellyn looked shocked "Well ya don't say!" She said with a laugh. "Are ya certain? I can sense a blood connection from these two." She pointed at the Veteran and Sky. "You can do that?" Sky asked skepticism flashed in his eyes. "Well not with great accuracy." She admitted "My Pa is better at it than I am. He's out trading at the moment but you are welcome to talk to him when he gets back!"
Sky and Vet looked at each other, confusion spreading across their faces. Then the Vet's eyes went wide for a moment, as though he were remembering something. Sky noticed but didn't say anything. "How are you able to do that Ellyn?" The Traveler asked, curiosity glinting across his face. "I come from a long line of witches and warlocks, it's in our blood to know a little magic. Ah! here we are!" Ellyn stopped outside a large inn. " This is my family's Inn! How many rooms do y'all want?" She looked to the Old Man but the Captain spoke first. "Three should do us just fine." He told pulling out his wallet. "And how many nights are ya staying?" Eyes went from the Captain to the Champion "Four, we're a bit low on supplies." he said digging in his bag.
To everyone's surprise the Inn wasn't that costly. It was only 240 Rupees, which the Captain forked over very quickly. After they paid and got the room keys the Old Man divided them up into the three rooms. The Champion, Smith, and Sailor went together. Rancher, Vet and the Old Man were with each other. And finally Sky, Captain, and Traveler were paired up. The Old Man's pairings rolled off his tongue with great ease as though he had already thought this through. Everyone went to their rooms which were unusually big for standard inn rooms. They all got situated and went to the Old Man, Veteran, and Rancher's room to talk about what they needed.
Sky took this opportunity to talk to the Veteran about his little revelation on the walk over. "Is everything ok Vet? You looked kinda weird when Ellyn Said we might be related." The Veterans nose scrunched, his shoulders tight end, his eyes narrowed down. "You don't have to tell us!" Sky reassured but was quickly cut off by the Captain. "No, he should. We need to know things like this. It's a scary thought but if the Old Man dies, the Rancher will no longer exist. This is for your own safety Vet, You have to tell us If you know something about it." The Vet looked up at his brother. He and the Captain had never really gotten along, but the Vet swore he saw a gleam of fear in his eyes.
"Yeah I do know something. It had slipped my mind until now, but that lady mentioning it made me remember." A long pause followed the Vets' words. This is the kind of thing they all dreaded; Talking about themselves. Veteran took a long shaky breath and started. "About six months after I first defeated Ganon, Zelda came to me with news... She invited me into the castle and along with Impa brought out a small box filled with paper... Impa pulled out a birth certificate with my name on it then Zeldas." He inhaled again. His chest was on fire, he didn't want the other heroes to know who he was. He didn't want this revaluation to change the way they saw him or how they treated him.
"They had the same date of birth on them, and the same names of the parents." He stopped talking, his mouth getting dryer. "Wait...." The Smith started under his breath. "If that's true, then what you're saying is that you and your Zelda are brother and sister!" He looked at the Vet who had his head in his hands. He couldn't bring himself to look at his brothers. The Traveler started to speak as well. "If you and Zelda are related, and Sky's the forefather of the Royal family of Hyrule-" All eyes turned to Sky now. He had an unreadable expression on his face. Everyone held their breath. Then Sky stood up and walked over to where the Vet was, head still in hands.
Sky sat down next to the Veteran and placed a gentle hand on his little brother's shoulder. The Vet responded with a little jump. "Are you ok? Vet please, I know this is a lot but don't worry, you don't have to be scared." The Vet Finally lifted his head from his hands to look at Sky. His ancestors' eyes were soft with no hint of judgment hidden in them. The Veteran looked down again. He was ashamed for keeping this hidden for so long. 'Goddess I should have told them about Zelda sooner.' He thought. Then the Old Man and Traveler appeared in front of him.
"It's okay, Vet, you don't have to be sad." His successor spoke calmly. "We understand why you didn't tell us sooner. It's alright." His predecessor added. "I'm sorry. The Captain's right, this could have been bad, I just-" The Vet cut himself off. "I didn't want this to affect anything." He was almost soundless when those words left his mouth. After a short pause the Champion started to giggle. So did the Rancher. Veterans stared at the rest of the heroes starting to crack up, some laughing so hard they were on the floor. "WHAT ARE YOU ALL LAUGHING AT!" The Pink haired boy yelled
Around 10 minutes later all of the heroes had composed themselves. "Well, why was that so funny, huh? See this is why I don't talk about my feelings to you guys." The Vet said clearly joking but a little serious. Champion breathed another little laugh and spoke. "Do you really think we would treat you differently just for being royalty?" He asked. "Well, I mean, yeah. It's not like all of you are heroes of Hyrule who were tasked with protecting the blood of the Goddess Hylia!" The Vet sounded exasperated; he was not having fun with this. The rest seemed to be enjoying themselves.
"I mean yeah but you're our brother, Vet! You have done so much for our Kingdom, and I'm pretty sure you have the most experience out of all of us." The Captain retorted his devious smirk showcasing itself. "Yeah, Vet, we can't get away with coddling ya. It's would be like the kids from my era followin' me around tellin' me how to do my job." The Rancher said his smile showing his abnormally pointy teeth. At that show of trust and reassurance the Veteran slumped into Sky's side.
"Oh thank the Golden Three." Vet breathed. He had latched himself on Sky's arm with great strength. "Goddesses Vet, do you have your power gloves on?" Sky laughed trying to unstick the younger hero from his arm. "How about you and the Vet switch rooms Traveler? You can stay with me and the Racher, and Veteran, Sky, and Cap go together." Everyone liked this change in arrangement and the heroes went to bed, ready to go shopping tomorrow. Sky and the little pink haired boy fell asleep together content and happy that the rest of the heroes had been so understanding.

MY Thoughts on Linked Universe!! Pt 6 The Hero of Twilight!
I'm back! sorry I've had a lot of school work to do so I haven't really been on Tumblr resently smh. It's time for the ranch hand, Wolfie, the Hero of Twilight!!!! LETS GO!!!!! Remember these are just my personal thought and headcannons. All credits go to the Og creator of Linked Universe!
__________
Okay, so only started playing Twilight Princess a short while ago. I don't have a lot of time spent on the game. However so far its really fun and I can see why its a fan favorit. Malo kinda scares me though. Anyway, if I get anything wrong please tell me and I will correct it. I'm only just now getting up death mountain.
we start of with Link and Russle in the Faron wood talking about Hyrule and the rest of the world. Russle tells Link that he want him to deliver a gift to the Royal family of Hyrule the day after tomorrow and they walk back to Ordon Village. Link helps around the Village doing chores, hurding goats and, generally being really helpful. Then disaster hits, the childeren form Ordon are taken and so is Illia the daughter of the mayor. LInk is knocked unconscious and every thing goes black.
I LOVE how the game starts. It makes you see the villagers as people and lets you feel for them on a personal level. These characters are some of my favorite in the whole game. The whole game feels like a movie, I watch the character reactions to diffrent thing and feel they way the developers wanted them to feel. I think that's really cool. I haven't seen many other characters in this game. I've only interacted with a few Gorons while they were trapped in the Twilight (might I add that they were extremmely unbothered by the whole deal, Like the Hylians were all cowering and scared, and the Gorons were just chilling). But I hope that all the characters are just as relatable and fun.
Lets talk about the kids of Ordon Village now! I think the choice to make them a key factor for Links adventure. I was very excited to get to get to try and find them and the pain I felt when they were hidding in the twilight, and then the joy I felt when Colin said that Link was coming to save them. So far my favorite part of the game was saving Colin when he was taken by King Bulblin. I was so happy when he pushed Beth out of the way of the on coming stamped. He was so brave and I loved his and Link's little convosation about what Colin's father ment when he said he wanted his son to be more like Link. It made me all warm inside.
Ok, the dungeons..... I LOVE THEM SO FAR. As I said I only made it thought the forest temple HOWEVER, it was sooooooo fun. The monkeys were hysterical, and I found the mini boss fight with Ook quite enjoyable. I think the game hinted that the first three dungeons (the Forest, Fire, and Water temples) are the same temples that the heros of time fought through. What really solitifyes this theory for me is the fact that the Kokiri emblem is plastered all over the Forest Temple. There's also the reality that the Fire and Water Temple are in similar spots to the ones in OoT.
The Forest Temple was not that hard, BUT as I've been saying throught out this whole series I'm a little stupid 😁. However, I was presently surprised of how easy it was. It wasn't TOO easy but I was very comfortable during my run through. I also really enjoyed the boss fight with Diababa. It again wasn't too hard but wasn't too easy either. It is one of my new favorite boss fights! I'm really excited to see the the other dungeons and to play more in general.
All right, time to talk about the only reason I want to play this game so badly, MIDNA!!!! I LOVE Midna shes so cool. I haven't gotten to the point where she begins to be somewhat nice to you BUT, I think her sassy and rude diologe is really funny and too good in some cases. Like when you blow up that house in Kakariko Village (Favorite Midna moment). She's the best companion character imo. Everything that Midna does in the game is Literaly incredible. I LOVE HER!!!
Ahem......... Don't mind that little Minda rant, I like her a normal amount 😃👍. Anyways, on to the Rancher's Relationships! he has several from the people of Ordon Village to the Hylians he meets on his adventure. I want to talk spacificaly about his friendships with Princess Zelda and Minda. Both have major roles in the progression of the stary and each have there own character development. But seeing as this is a post all about the Ranch hand I'm going to talk about them in relation to him.
Starting with Minda, we meet her really early on and she sticks with us throughout the entire game. She starts of cold, in it only for herself and her kingdom. As the game progresses we see her open up more and more, getting comfortable with the idea of having Link as a companion and friend. Rancher must have felt the same, he wanted to help not only Hyrule, but also Minda and her kingdom. Hes just that kind of guy. They had built an incredible companionship with one another throughout the events of the game.
Midna's good-bye was super fast. She didn't give Link and Zelda anytime to react to what she was doing. Leaving both to watch their friend and companion turn away what might have been a remarkable bond between both kingdoms. I fermly believe if Midna hadn't broken the mirror both realms would have lived in harmony. However, she was thinking of the safty of her people and the people of Hyrule. In regards to Link's feelings for Minda he definitely had some. Feelings that he could never quite shake. Seeing someone he loved leave without a second glance would breack anyone's heart. Jojo portays this sadness amazingly in the comic.
Zeda and Link's relationship is a little more compicated. They don't interact very much even at the end of the game. Nothing is really said between them either, as most of the time they meet Link is in his wolf form. I do think that they interact alittle more after the events of the game. They kinda have to, their kingdom is in ruins. They might be friends/ well known acquaintances, but I don't see them being SUPER close like how Smith and Dot are.
On to Wolfie! I really enjoy playing as wolf Link. It's fun to blitz those shadow monsters and to talk to animals. I also like Jojo's choice to keep Wolfie a secret in the begining, and to spin it as the Rancher keeping his friends memory alive. I would also like to think that the Rancher's wolf form gave him more of a primal instinct. We all know Wolfie has immaculate senses, but I would be willing to put forward that it gave the Rancher better sences as well. You could say the same for the Veteran with his Dark World bunny form. An aware wolf, and a skittish rabbit.
In regards to the other heroes he likes all of them. He doesn't have all ot of things to dislike about them and he gets along with all of them. After the incident he trusts them with his life. They saved him once, they would do it again, and he would do the same. The heroes took the news of the Rancher being Wolfie in varying degrees. Some were shocked, Other puzzeld. I don't think it scared anyone though. Can you Imagain the Champion's reaction though 😭. I would NOT recover from that shock.
__________
AHHHHHHH!!! This was so much longer than I wanted it to be. I should have made it 2 parts but I was too lazy to. I thinks thats the Rancher done. Sorry its been awhile since I last posted I've been busy with school 😅. I might have a little more to say about our favorite wolf man but Imma leave it here for now. Next is the Hero of Winds!! THANK YOU FOR READING!!!!

The Old Man's Mask
Thank you all for reading my crappy stuff. I'm having a lot of fun writing these! Time for another fic! This ones about the Old Man and the Fierce deity's mask! LETS GO!!!!!!
__________
They were ambushed by ten Moblins during the night. The fight lasts thoughout the darkness until they can see the sun start to peak out across the Horizon. Three heros were already injured; the Champion, Sailor, and Traveler. Their injurys were not fatal however, they could not fight to their fullest extent. As the sun continued to rise the heroes started to catch sight of more monsters surrounding them. More Mobins, Bokoblins, lizalfos, stal-monsters; they were coming.
All the Old Man could see was three of his own in pain, and the others scrambling to fight off the on coming hord. They were getting despret. The Veteran was protecting the Three injured as the Traveler tried to heal himself and the others. The Captain was barking orders many could not hear. Sky and Smith were throwing bombs down at the group of beasts coming up the hill. The Rancher was in his wolf form mauling anything that got to close to the Veteran. The Captain yelled for the Old Man "SPRITE!"
That snapped him out of his haze. "We need to regroup!" The Old Man shouted. The rest of the heroes nodded as they started to gather the hurt. The Old Man was ushering everyone away from swarm. Then they heard a loud Bellow coming from behind the hord. deafening stomps started to climb up the Hill the heros were on. A masive Hinox came into view. It's eye a dark red, and it's body a nasty black.
The Captain could only stare. This Hinox was bigger than any the heroes had ever seen. Its size rivaled that of the ones in the Champion's era, and the ones in The Vet's Hyrule. This was a big problem. There was no possible way they could fight a beast of the size. And the Old Man knew this. He was not going to let his brothers die. He couldn't let that happen.
He stepped in front of the other heroes, digging in his bag for something. "What are you doing Old Man?" The Veteran gritted his teeth. "I'm going to kill that thing." The older Hero answered calmly. "Hell no, thats dumb! You can't fight that thing alone!!!" The Smith tried to talk his predecessor out of what ever plan he had in his head. "It will be fine, I will be fine." The Old Man Stoped scrounging in his bag, pulling out a mask.
The Mask looked weird. Everyone knew the Old Guy has a huge collection of masks, but they had never seen this one. It looked human and it had the same markings the Old Man did. The Captain swore he saw a smile on the Older hero's lips as he pulled it out. "Stay here, don't get in my way." The Old Man's voice was stedy almost happy. That alone was unnerving, but giving the context his deminer was down right horrifying.
He raised the mask to his face. It latched on to him as he bent over, seemingly in pain. The Old Man let out an awfuly loud Scream catching the Hinox's attention. The massive monster started to walk over to the Group of heroes. The Old Man still doubled over. Then, the great beast started to fall. As it did the heroes saw a tall Hylian Holding a very large sword. The Hinox hit the ground and started to turn to dust. The Old Man was no where to be seen. The Tall individual turned around for the heroes. They had the same Markings as their leader.
The Warrior started to run twords the scattering monsters killing everything with great ease. After only a few minutes everything was dead. Not a single monster escaped. "Old Man?" Sky asked timidly. The tall man brought his hand up to his face and lifted it up on top of his head. "Hey." the Old Man said, a grin plastered on his face. "For Din's sake Old Man, What the actual Fu-" The Veteran was cut off by an elbow in his side. "Quiet you!" The Captain shoved.
Everything was settling down, yet the heros still didn't have answers. Their leader wasn't telling them anything. He was unusually hyper, however. It seemed to Champion that he took great pleasure in their ingnorence. "Come on Sprite, you should tell them." The Captain told giggling to himself. "Yeah Old Man you've teased enough!" The Sailor retorted. The Old Man sighed pulling the mask out of his bag again.
"This" he started "Is the Fierce deity's Mask." The Vet and Traveler looked at each other. Both had the unique ability to sence magic and the form it took. "Its powerful transformation magic." the Traveler stated. "The virtue radiating off of it is almost suffocating." the Vet replied, scrunchig his face. The Old Man laughed at the two young Heroes. "You are both right. This mask is some of the strongest transformation magic I have ever seen. It is also briming with Virtue!"
The Old Man had a bright smile on his face. It was though he were bouncing off the trees. The Old Man couldn't settle down, his leg was bouncing up and down, and it looked like he were trying to not put the mask on again. "This Mask is composed of all the gratitude of the people of Termina." the Oldest started to explain. The Old Man seemed to calm down a little his leg stoped shaking, and his eye sofend. He looked content, almost like he was remanising about a memory.
"Whats Termina? Is it a kingdom?" The Rancher asked as he moved closer to his ancestor. The Old Man eyes started to droop as he answered. "It's a different world full of familiar faces with personalitys that don't match." The heroes Moved closer to the eldest. "Tell us more!" the Smith asked a glint behind his eyes. "Why are you so tired now? You were bouncing up and down a few minutes ago." The Traveler stated clearly worried.
The Traveler continued "Magic like this shouldn't make you more energetic, and it shouldn't make you crash like this either." The Old Man Chuckeld at the young hero's concern. "This type of transformation magic does not hail from Hyrule." The Chain were on the edge of their seats. 'This is crazy' Sky thought "This mask is not evil, it is however, extremely powerfull." the Old Man continued. "I killed a wicked demon with this mask." The Mask shook on its own, some of the heroes jumped back.
"Don't worry." The Old Man soothed. "He won't hurt you." The mask was jittering like it wanted to be put back on. The Old Man raised it to his face and the mask stoped shaking. "It reacted to you talking about the demon." Sky stated a slight quiver in his voice. "Yes, the demon is one a few of you are familiar with. You've seen what holds it." the Old Man explaind "However I am very tired. Lets go to bed." The rest looked around at each other. This is the Old Man trying to change the subject. He doesn't want to talk anymore.
They dropped the subject until the Champion asked one more question. "Do you like using the mask, Old Man?" to this final question the oldest smiled. "Its my favorite mask to use, and the only one that still fits." After that was said fairy boy slipped off into blessed slumber, in which no one could wake him for about ten hours. The others were happy one of their own shared something so personal and so powerful.

Here it is! I am not exaggerating when saying this came to me in a dream 😅.

My Thoughts on Linked Universe Pt 5! The Hero of Hyrule!
Here we are with my 2nd fav Link, Roolie!!! He's so cute I could just squeeze him to death 🤗. Unfortunately the Traveler does not have much lore. So most of this this will be my speculation and what I think on him. LETS GO!!
__________
Okidoki, I know most new Zelda fans haven't played the og games but, I did sooooo call me a nerd is ya want but they were actually pretty good. REALLY hard but I enjoyed them, both Zelda 1 and Zelda 2. It took me so long to beat them but it was so worth it. They are some of those games that when you beat them you feel so good and smart. there's not much to talk about them in terms of game play and mechanics so right into the story.
Zelda 1 follows a young boy on his quest to save the princess of his dying kingdom. His quest starts off with him meeting an old man who gives him a sword and tells him of his destiny. The young boy, whos name is Link goes off to many dungeons and trials. Though out it all facing many monsters and bosses. Link eventually fights Ganon one on one and wins. Puting an end to cycle in the Downfall Timeline (almost). The Taveler is most likely about 10-12 in this game and is one of two heroes who doesn't wield the master sword.
Zelda 2 The Adventure of Link follows the same hero from Zelda 1. The Traveler is probably about 14 or 15 in this game, so a descent amount of time has passed. This adventure is very similar to his last only now he has to prevent Ganons return. He also must wake a princess from her ever lasting slumber. The Traveler also gains a blood curse placed on to him by Ganons minnions. If you die in game a screen will flash saying " Game Over, Return of Ganon." Link also has assassins chasing him all over to kill him and bring Ganon back to life.
Both games though have incredibly hard puzzles but have relatively easy fights and bosses. The Ganon fight in Zelda 1 is super easy. When I played it for the first time I though it would be a somewhat long fight with multiple stages. But it took like 4 hits with the Silver Arrows and he dies. Like damn, not only did this man fumbled in ALttP he fumbled in this games too. How you going to let a kid beat you twice, when you killed the Hero of Time smh 😒.
Anywho, I think these easy fights are the souce of Roolie's insecurity with the Cain. He even says in the comic that he 'must of had it easy.' I don't think he has much confidence in his abilities or his accomplishments as a Hero of Hyrule. Speaking of the title the heroes all share. That might also be a souce of his insecurity. He doesn't have another title like the others. He might not think that he is worthy of standing next to the others.
The man needs to cut him self some slack cause his magical prowess is leages above anyone else of the Chain. He's got that cool sword beam and his lightning attack is probably one of the best amoung the group. I would go as far to say that his magical ability is better that his skill with a sword, which is by no means weak. He is worthy of his title and to stand next to the other heros, he just needs to see it.
Some more of his magic is his ability to transform into a fairy! I already talked little about transformation magic in the Old Man's post, but I'm going to reiterate some of my thoughts. For starters to me transformation magic is really powerful. I mean it changes the shape of your body for a prolonged period of time. Anything that does that can't be weak. As we've seen with the Smith, Old Man, and Rancher, it will leave a mark. Either an actual physical marking on the boday, or permanently changing your form is probably up to the user and what type of transformation magic it is.
The Travler does not have a lot of realationships, we could argue that he has a very nice relationship with Both Zeldas, but it's probably nothing more than him being their protector. His Era is not the best. It takes place after the Downfall of Hyrule. This period most likely happens millennia after the Era of Legend. There arn't many settlements, and those that are there have a limited population.
Speaking on the Downfall of Hyrule, it probably had something to do with their ecomony and agricultural practices. I know theres a recuring joke about The Traveler and Champion eating anything they can get there hands on, but this most likely a survivle habit learn from their post apocalyptic Kingdoms. I actually really like the headcanon of Roolie being able to eat almost anything because of his ability to transform into a fairy. It suits him and opens a lot of funny opportunities for him to feak out his brothers
To expand on the Downfall of Hyrule I feel like traveler would speak about his home. Not in great detail but he would talk about the state of his kingdom. I also think that the Veteran would be absolutly horrified to learn what his predecessor had gone though. Traveler would reassure him that it was nothing that he could stop and that the events that lead to the Downfall happened a really long time after he dies.
__________
Thats all I got for Roolie! I'm not really going to talk about Echos of Wisdom cuz I think it might get a little complicated. Anywho the next hero I'm going to talk about is the Hero of the Twilight!! THANK YOU FOR READING!!!!!

Nightly Activities (Legend fluff)
I mentioned in one of my posts about the Old Man that I wanted to start writing fics! So i'm going to try it out. I'm still going to finish the "My thoughts on LInked Universe" series, but I'm posting this today! let me know what you think and give me constructive criticism!
__________
Tired and drowsy, the nine heroes settled down for the night. The Champion set up a cooking pot and started to chop vegetables and meat. The Old Man and Veteran began clearing a spot for the fire, while the rest set out the bed rolls. Sailor and Smith were bickering about who would have to sleep on the rocky patch, the Captain had to come mediate. The Ranch used his crystal to shifted into his wolf form and laid down by the newly started fire. At this show of content the Traveler and Sky sat near him to have a conversation.
The food was then finished, and passed around. It has been the best tasting food they had in a while, they were all so grateful to have the Champion’s cooking. It was seafood paella and crab stir-fry. The last gate had spit them out near a fishing village. It wasn’t very large, but it was enough for them to get incredible food and for the Sailor to feel more at home near the ocean. As the food was being eaten and they were getting warm by the fire, stories started to be shared.
Sky told of three elemental dragons who ruled the three major parts of the surface. The Smith reiterated a story about his second dungeon, specifically the part about the really fast mine cart. The Old Man painted a vivid picture of a tragic tale of love between an innkeeper and the son of a mayor. The Veteran spoke of a faraway kingdom and the many gripes they faced. The Traveler joked about assassins who would chase him to the corners of the kingdom to get revenge. The Rancher spoke about an old friend who helped him a great deal on his adventure. The Sailor told a tale of his time on the Great Sea with a fairy who helped guide him. The Captain explained his battle with Ghoma and the lasting scars she gave him. The Champion told of his fight with Water Blight Ganon and with Muktorok.
As the stories were told and finished, with their bellies full, the heroes went to bed. Sky had the first watch as no one could wake him up in the middle of the night. Sky loved the first watch and was not at all embarrassed that no one could wake him up. He loved to watch the sun go down and stare at the stars as they started to appear in the night sky. It was all peaceful and a few hours later Sky woke the Rancher for the second watch.
The Rancher always had second watch. He was the easiest for Sky to wake up and could rouse anyone from their slumber. He was also the best at sensing danger. There had been a multitude of times where he had saved the chain from sneak attacks, they would not be alive if not for the Rancher. He is truly the best Link to be on watch. With his enhanced senses the Rancher found the job easy so most of the time he goofs off. Petting Epona or stirring at the fire, he would never tell the Old Man. Or anyone else for that matter.
Though tonight something is off. He sniffed around in his wolf form, he stopped and listened to try and hear anything out of the ordinary, and he did. The quiet sobs of one of his brothers. The Rancher's heart jumped when he realized what he was hearing. Soon he was sniffing everyone's bed rolls trying to figure out which one of his brothers was suffering. When he got to the Veteran all the Rancher heard was the small hiccups of someone who was trying to stifle their crying.
The Rancher in his wolf form started to whine and nudge at the Vet’s side. The Veteran tried to shoo him away, but Wolfie was relentless. The Vet came out from under his bed roll to tell the wolf to go away, but couldn’t speak. This was not uncommon as all of the chain would go silent when overwhelmed. It's why most were silent as children and would not talk to anyone during their adventures. The Vet could only stare at the blue eyed wolf with his mouth open but no sound coming out.
The wolf stared back, stepping closer to the still crying hero. The tears in the hero's eyes made him look younger than he actually was. Wolfie was sitting right next to the boy now, the young hero’s mouth still agape, eyes wide with shock. Why his brother was shocked the Rancher did not know.
“Can you turn back?”
The boy asked, almost soundless. Rancher tilted his head down and shifted into his Hylian form. Nothing could prepare the older hero for what was about to happen. The boy grabbed on to him and held himself close to the older hero. The Rancher was as one could probably imagine, very confused. Though this boy, this child was a hero he was still hurt beyond belief. He was still struggling with the horrors he’s seen throughout his young years.
“Are you alright?” the Rancher asked after a while. His voice was soft, almost like a father.
The pink haired boy could only shake his head. He was not alright, He would never be alright. His mind was spinning with thoughts that he couldn’t shake. Thoughts of a girl, her ever kind father and all the people of that island. His friends; forever gone. Those four young boys and their parents, the kindness they showed him would never be forgotten. The eight dungeons he fought through and the things he gained. That awful flying fish that took so much from him. The Rancher could only hold the young boy as he sobbed faintly into his arm.
“I want to go home.” The hero breathed “Please…. Just let me go home.” he was getting louder now. The Old Man started to blink awake. The hero was now sobbing. “I want to go home.” he repeated again. The Captain was next to awake. They looked at one another then at their younger brother. The rest were starting to wake, seeing their brother in ditsress
Most didn’t know what to do. This was the Veteran, and the Veteran didn’t do feelings. But here he was, openly expressing himself. His wants and emotions, his grief and agony. The Old Man and Captain were hesitant to go towards their younger brother, the Champion however, was not going to leave his brother to go through this without him.
Champion kelt down to look the Vet in his violet eyes. “Do you want something to eat? Or maybe some water?” He asked with a mother’s tender voice. The Pink haired boy nodded slowly, not  breaking eye contact. The Campion patted his arm gently and went to go get food and water. The Sailor was next to come over closely followed by the Smith. They both sat on either side of the Vet checking to make sure it was alright to touch him. When their older brother nodded they lent on both sides of him making it so he had three heroes surrounding him.
As they all got comfortable the Champion came back with the Vet’s favorit baked apple with cinnamon and sugar and a canteen of water. “Here you go,” the Champion started. “Eat it slowly.”  The Veteran took the food and water from the older one and started to eat and drink. He started to look around. His brothers were getting the fire going strong, he had even managed to rouse Sky from his everlasting slumber.
As he chewed his baked apple he started to cry again, but it was different this time. Instead of the painful memories of an island, a girl, and a dream; he was crying tears of joy. For his brothers who, to their credit, were not very good at talking about their emotions, were taking the time to make sure he was ok. At this realization his ears started to turn a bright red. Goddess I'm an idiot, the Veteran thought to himself. The Captain and Old Man were the first to notice their little brother's embarrassment, and were the quickest to reassure him that he was not being a bother.
“Don’t be embarrassed Vet. You didn’t do anything wrong.” The Captain soothed. He did not have a mother’s tender voice like Champion, or the reassuring voice of a father like Rancher. It was more akin to a big brother. “Please, tell us if you are ever feeling bad about something. We can help, I promise.” The Old Man added. He had the voice of a father as well, though the Vet had known that for a long time. That was his predecessor afterall.
Not much was said after that. The heroes were not extremely talkative in the first palace, but when one of them was having a bad day everyone tried to be extra quiet. The Vet had proven to be particularly fragile. No one asked why he started to cry at first, it was not their place to. If the Vet wanted to tell them he could. He knew that all too well. Sky who was now also sitting next to him gave him a big smile for some odd reason.
“Why ya doin’ that?” Veteran asked, a little worried. He knows when Sky gets an idea it's either going to be incredible or the worst thing in the world. There was no inbetween, and he was not the only one who knew this. “What are you thinkin’? It better not be something stupid!” Rancher teased a grin starting to show his abnormally pointy teeth.
“It’s good I swear!” Sky declared with that big smile still on his lips. “Well, I was just thinking about Zelda and-” He was cut off before he could finish his sentence by none other than the Traveler. “Of course you were!” Roolie began in a mocking tone “You always have to think about your girlfriend!” he continued with a laugh making a kissy face. The rest giggled and snickered at the Traveler’s proclamation. Sky couldn’t even be mad or offended because it was true he always thought about Zelda.
“Haha.” Sky said giggling to himself “I’m just saying does anyone else have a lover, I mean, the Old Man’s got a wife, but what about the rest of you guys.” A chuckle escaped the Captain’s mouth, a wide grin replacing it. “Not yet, But! I do hope to settle down in a few years.” he claimed with a smile forming on his lips “but oh boy, some of the women I’ve met! They were crazy! Like this one bitch named Cia-” as he was going to rant about the witch who started the War of Eras the Vet burst out laughing.
“What?” the Captain asked, starting to laugh as well. “Ask the Old Man or Sailor. They were there!” The Captain now couldn’t stop laughing. “Holy shit.” the Vet said through heavy breaths. “She couldn’t have been that bad.” He said, wiping a tear from his eye. “Oh no.” the Sailor chimed in “She was the worst! She started the War of Eras AND had a bunch of paintings of the Captain in her castle!” He shouted “True.” replied the Old Man.
“What about you, Vet?” The Smith asked, his back against the fire. “Do you have a lover?” The smith had a mischievous grin planted on his mouth. The Vet swore he recognized it from somewhere. “Wouldn’t you like to know.” He started, a grin of his own forming. “Come on!” the Sailor and Smith yelled in unison. “Oh alright! Just quit screeching!” The Vet agreed, reluctantly but non the less he told.
He stayed silent for a while, a soft smile taking the place of his smirk. He opened his mouth as if he were searching for the right words. “His name is Ravio.” The Vet answered the unusual smile still plastered on his face. Hearing the name Ravio the Captain just about choked on his water, dooming him to a bad coughing fit. “What did you just say?” The captain sputtered, attempting to stifle his cough.
“What, that his name is Ravio?” The Vet confirmed. All to his shock three of his brothers knew the hooded merchant. The Old Man, Sailor, and Captain. “He fought in the War of Eras with us.” The Old Man tried to explain. “WHAT!?” The Veteran shouted. Nothing could have prepared him for that answer. “He never told you?” The Sailor questioned. The Vet was too shocked to answer his younger brother. What replaced his smile next was a face full of worry.
“What happened? Was he ok?” The only two questions he could ask were those. “Yes Vet he was fine.” The Captain soothed. “A bit of a coward-” the Sailor was cut off by the old man elbowing him in the side. At this the Vet’s smile came back and he chuckled a little
“What are you laughing about, Vet?” Sky asked, giggling to himself. The Veteran looked into the fire, reminiscing about his lover. The boy who had risked everything for his people, and the people of Hyrule. Though Ravio thought of himself as a coward, the Vet, Zelda and Hilda would always know he was brave. And the Vet told his brothers as much.
“Never once did he think about giving up.” The Vet told. He was never the one to talk about his adventures but this one seemed to be the exception. “He was so patient, never failed to encourage me. He knew what was happening before I did” The Veteran talked incredibly slowly almost as if he was savoring it. “Ravio may have been scared, and a worried mess, but he still pulled through, till the very end. I'll never forget his face when we saw each other again after defeating Yuga. I'll never forget-” The Veteran cut himself off.
The tips of his ears started to turn a bright pink akin to the color of his hair. Shit he thought not going to live this one down for a while. The others started to giggle and laugh. Not what the Vet had hoped. “Wow, Vet.” The Traveler teased “You're just like Sky!” The Veterans predecessor gave a wide grin before laughing. "Shut up!" The Vet yelled, his whole face turning a bright pink.
There was a little bickering taking place before the Smith gave a jaw cracking yawned. Sky noticed his predecessor's tiredness chuckeling. "I think its time we turn in for the night." he said stretching out his arms. The Old Man and Captain knoded in agreement before Turing to the Veteran. "You gonna be ok?" The Rancher asked in that reassuring tone.
There was silence for a bit, but then the Vet looked up and smiled. "Yeah, thank you guys." Everyone smiled in return, dousing the fire and slowly moving back to their bed rolls. They all went to bed in content, and the Vet, he laid there motionless. Still smileling to himself. He can trust these heroes, his Brothers. No longer will he be alone. He doesn't have to fear loving anymore. Never again.

My Thoughts on Linked Universe Pt 4.5! The Hero of Legend!
In my last post I shared my thoughts on the Veteran and His adventures. In this post I will be explaning his complicated character and his realationships. LETS GO!!
__________
Ok, the Veteran has a very compicated character in the sence that he has very complicated views. His views on knighthood are the most different from any one of his brothers. While some are knighted holding various ranks, those who are not tend to hold knights in high regards. The Veteran however, does not like the knights of his era. One could imagine that the roaly knights and guards had to be completly replaced after the events of ALttP. This could lead to inadequate training as the old trainers and people of high ranking would have been completely wiped out.
It's no stretch to say that the Vet is extremely closed off. He acts as though his adventures have no impact on him, yet one look at his defensive demeanor should tell anyone otherwise. And I do think his brothers know this. All of the heroes have been through some shit. The Vet even admits to sharing many experences with them. So the boys know when their brother is trying to act tough.
On the topic of the Chain, I think that they are all very aware of the Vets sleeping habits AND his bad joints. Veteran's sleeping is almost always interupted by something. Weather that would be a nightmare or he just woken up by forest noises, really depends on the night. regarding his joints.... they pop. And its not just the quiet pop when your standing up, no. They fucking echo. Like his knees pop so bad the Vet feels vibrations throughout his whole damn legs (me tho😭). He's also just constantly in pain. His normal pain level is about a 3 on a scale of 1-10, but it can get up to about a 6 or 7 depending how long their on the road for.
the Heroes know how to look for pain. I'm sure they all know how to disguise pain, so they all know what it looks like when the Vet does it. they figured him out almost immediately, not even a full day had gone by when they first met each other, and someone was all just like "Yo, uhhh pink haired guy..... you good?" And that's how everyone found out (it was probably the Champian). Another thing the Vet tends to do is avoid being the leader. He definitely has the experience and comanding voice, yet he seems to lay low campated to those like the Captain, Old Man, and Sky.
The Hero of Legends knows a lot of people. So he has a lot of realationships. When you go on so many adventures to so many different countrys you get to know a LOT of people. There are the obvious ones: Zelda, Ravio, Din, Nayru, ect. But I'm more interested about the not so obvious ones.
For starters; the Seven Sages, spacificaly the ones in ALBW. So Gulley, Oren, Rosso, Impa, Irene, Osfala, and Seres. Now Link obviously likes some of these guy more than others. BUT, he probably gets along with all of them.
Now on to Zelda, I personally don't really know what I think of their relationship, but for this blog lets go and say their siblings just because I think the Vets brothers in green would either be very confused, or kinda freaked out. That also leads the way for a very awkward realization that the Vet is related to the Hero of the Skys! And I think thats hilarious. And this is my blog so I get to decide things 🤭.
__________
THATS ALL I HAVE FOR THE HERO OF LEGENDS!!!!!!!! He is just a silly little guy with a wall around his heart that his Brothers will eventually break down. His games are some of my favorite in the series, and I enjoyed playing all of them. THANK YOU FOR READING!!!!!

My thoughts on Linked Universe! Pt4 The Hero of Legend!
Heyo I'm back! with another character analysis of a fan favorit: the Hero of Legend! Also knowed as the Hero of too many titels, the Hero of Hording, and the Veteran of the Hero business. Lets dive in to his weirdly complicated character.
This will probably be at least 2 parts, like the Old Man's post cuz this guys got a lot of games and I want to talk about all of them 😁.
__________
Ight, so I've played pretty much all of the Vet's games. A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Oracle of Ages and Seasons, and A Link Between Worlds (I haven't played Triforce Heros, but I'm not sure if that one counts in this context so I'm not going to talk about 👍). I do think that the Vet's adventures happened in that order. I know Nintendo Changed the timeline resently to show that the Link in Link's Awakening is not the same one from ALttP, and that in cannon ALttP Link and ALBW Link are not the same guy. However......... This is my blog sooooooo 😂.
Lets start off with the Downfall Timeline as a whole. This branch is the d(F)uck up timeline. The Hero of Time fell in his fight with Ganondorf, leading to the imprisoning war (not the same as one in ToTK), and some what of a downfall of the Kingdom of Hyrule. on the bright side, the Sages and Princess Zelda surivived and sealed Ganon in the Sacred Realm. Ganon did turn it into the Dark World but the seal still held him for about 300 years. So...... kind of a success?
ALttp is the first game in the Downfal Timeline. It starts off showing the player a stormy night and a 8 year old kid and his knght uncle. The uncle leaves never to return as he dies at the hand of his comrads who were being mind controlled. He dies in his 8 year old nephew's arms. Now it is up to the Little boy Link to save the princess, defet Ganon, and save the Kingdom...yay... So we have a kid who hasn't even hit double digits yet doing the most dangorus job in the world. This game is also one of my favorite Zelda games! I love how they shift halfway though the story and give you way more dungeons! There are 13 in total + palace of the Four Sword= 14
I am well aware that Sky, the Smith, and the Old Man were by no means adults. However we must remember that Ganon Killed the Hero of Time. That man is dead in this timeline, he did not make the Vet's life easier, not that the Vet blames the Old Man but still. I can't imagine what the Vet might have been thinking. He was so young, probably the youngest when he first started out. And now he has to fight and defet an evil that not even the hero before him could? Thats messed up! We have to remember that the Vet most likely knew all of the gards and knights too. He was slaying those he once trusted. That has to mess you up for life.
The next game/ adventure is Link's Awakening. This is the game that made me cry harder than Majora's Mask did. It was beautiful and I loved every second I played it. Its the only Zelda game I've beaten more than once and I have memorised most of the dungeons and the layouts. The game had really high stakes, and an amazing story to follow and like I said in my post about Sky that's what I live for in a story.
The game starts out with the Vet who looks to be around 10-12 on a small sail boat in the middle of a storm on the high seas. His boat is struck by lightning and he washes up on an island's beach to be found by girl the about the same age as him. She takes him to her and her fathers house where Link wakes up and the game starts. The girls name is Marin and her father is named Tarin. Link interacts with both thoughout his adventure on the Island of Kholint.
Throughout Link's adventure he starts to get more and more clue that the Island he's on is not what it seems. This is showen to him by the dungeon bosses. As he gets closer and closer to freeing the Wind Fish, the more desperate the Bosses get. Some even plead with him not to wake up the Wind Fish. They know what will happen if it wakes up. Link however, does not.
I don't know if the Vet was in deninal or if he just straight up didn't believe the bosses, but regardless he still wakes the Wind Fish. This behemoth of a whale greets Link after he has slayen the nightmares that trapped the deity in its own dream. He thanks the young hero for everything he's done, everything he's sacrificed. Then it wakes up. All the player sees is the Island fading. The children playing, Marin singing, Tarin gathering mushrooms, they all disappear. And Link the young hero, is left on the peaces of his raft that was destroyed the night before, all alone.
This adventure although only his second, was the most impactful for the Hero of Legend. Kholint is the Vet's dark secret he wouldn't tell anyone about it even if it killed him. Marin told him to never forget the Balled of the Wind Fish, or her. And I don't think he ever could. Jojo depicted in the comic that he had replicas of the Instruments of the Sirens made. This Adventure will haunt the Veteran, most likely forever. I'm honestly not sure what he thought of Marin. He could of had a crush on her. Or maybe he saw her just as a friend. Either way a loss like that would do serious damage to a young kid.
final dungeon count: 8 + wind fish egg and color dungeon = 10
That was longer than I thought it would be 😅. Can you tell I really like Link's Awakening? Anywho, time for both the Oracle Games. I know they are technically different adventures and they happen in 2 diffrent countrys, but the games are connected on the Gameboy Color sooooo I will be talking about them at the same time.
Link comes home from his travels over seas and is immediately thrusted into 2 more adventures so hes still around 10-12. His travels in Holodrum and Labrynna are very similer. In both games he met an oracle, they get kidnapped, the fabric of time or seasons got all whacky, he did some dungeons and save the countrys of Holodrum and Labrynna, as well as the oracles.
Very similar indeed. I do believe the Veteran was on autopilot for these 2 adventures. He had just come out of a very tramatizing experience with the whole Wind Fish deal. The Vet does make friends during these adventures and although they could never replace the friends he made on Kholint they did help fill that void and help him heal.
Dungeon count for OoA: 12
Dungeon count for OoS: 11
total: 22
The next game is ALBW. Its the last adventure the Veteran has before LU, and one of my personal favs! I got this game for Christmas and finished playing the first week of January (I have a problem). I really like the panting mechanic the game presents. It made the game play and the dungeons so much more fun and interesting!
In this game Link wakes up only to be told he has to save the world again. He goes to Zelda and she tells him to go do something while she figures some stuff out so he does. Then the seven sages are kidnapped and now he has to to find the pendents of wisdom and power because Zelda already gave the Vet the pendent of courage. And this only the first part of the game. He has to go to Lorule and save the Seven Sages next.
He does that, it sucks. Lorule's monsters are more plentiful, and stronger than the ones you find in Hyrule. The dungeos aren't super hard but not entirely too easy either. Near the begining of the game Link meets an odd merchant named Ravio. He sets up shop in Links house and is the only reason you get everything you need to defete the big bad Yuga.
Ravio knows exacly what's happening before Link even wakes up and has an entire game plan about taking Yuga down. I feel like Ravio doesn't get the credit he deserves. People tend to look down on him because hes the brave Hero of Hyrule's cowardice counterpart. This post is not about Ravio though so I'll leave my thoughts on him at that. The game ends when the Vet makes it through Lorule castle and defeats Yuganon, and Link and Zelda wish apone their completed Triforce to give Lorule a new Triforce.
One more thing I will say about Ravio is that if he had stayed in Hyrule or if somehow there was a way to go back and forth between Kingdoms, I think Him and Link would have an Incredible Friendship. This adventure is relitivly tame compard to the Vets past adventures and with the added character interactions with Ravio and the show of courage at the end of the game solidified that thought for me. I also think that the Vet was around 16 during the advents of ALBW so that might have something to do with it as well.
Dungeon Count: 12
Overall count for the Veteran is.......... 58 Dungeons!!!!!! DAMN
__________
Thats all I got for this Man's games! I really liked all of them and explaining my thoughts on them was really fun! I will be making a Pt 4.5 explaing the relationships the Veteran has and his overall personality!! thank you for reading!!!

My thoughts on Linked Universe! Pt3.5! The Hero of Time
Here is a continuation of my thoughts on the hero of time! I'm going to rap up what I started on the first post and give my over all thoughts the the oldest hero. Lets get started!!
__________
Ok so I ended the last post talking about the Fierce Deities Mask and how I think the Old Man would use it. But I still have to talk about his relationships and how his is with the rest of the chain.
Alrighty, time the for the Old Man's relationships! for starters he's married to Malon a farmer who lives and works on Lon Lon Ranch with her father Talon. Speaking of Talon, the Old Man seems to have a somewhat ok relationship with his father in law. Its implyed that the Old Man has told stories about his adventures to his father inlaw, and that Talon kind of listens. Talon might not believe his son-inlaw but he listens regardless.
Since the Old Man in Linked Univese is from the Child Timeline he knows a lot of people. When Zelda sends him back in time to relive his childhood she sends him to before he pulled the Master Sword. This means he has already done the first 3 dungeons and gotten the Kokiri Emerald, the Goron Ruby, and the Zora Saphire. So he knows Darunia, Princess Ruto, and the Kokiri (obviously). He also might know Nabooru but I'm not to Sure about that one.
This means that he already attempted to save the Great Deku Tree, he saved the Gorons from starving, and he helped Princess Ruto get out of Lord Jabu Jabu's belly. So he may still have friendships with all of these people. In the case of Darunia he may have named his son after Link, since the reason for the naming in the first place was to honer Link as a sworen brother for helping to kill King Dodongo and getting their food back.
For Princess Ruto, he helped her not get digested by Lord Jabu Jabu. she also kind of proposed to him so that crush may have lingered until the Old Man got married or until they were both old enough that the crush fizzled away on its own. The Hero of Time was raised along side the kokiri. It's not a stretch to imagine that he went back to the forest for a while after Ganondorf was imprisoned. He probably stays there with the Forest children until he's old enough to work and make a living for himself. That or he travles in and out of the forest. I'm more inclined to believe the latter.
I also see him developing and friendship with Zelda as well. As is said in the Linked Universe comic, when he went back in time he was like a child with foresight. which is how Ganondorf got imprisoned until Twilight Princess. Zelda Must of had to back Link up on his claims to see anything done about it. Cause.... lets be real here. No one is going to listen to a random kid who came waltzing out of a cursed forest. 🥲
Now its on to the chain!!!!!! As I said in my last post about the Old Man, the other heros look up to him. He is the main leader and most often the one the younger heroes go to for a tie breaker in an agument. Most of the time he's cool calm and colected, but a I've been saying this whole time the Old Man likes a bit of crazy.
I like to believe that the Smith and the Old Man are really weirded out by the fact that the Smith is younger that the Old Man. Both were so confused when they found out that the Old Man was the Smith's successor and don't really talk about it. I mean what would you do if your predecessor was twice your age. It would be strange. Cause a successor is suppose to learn from their predecessor, but if the successor is twice the age of the predecessor hows that supposed to work???
As I stated in Sky's post I don't think that anyone would be mad at him for the curse of Demise. I especially think the Old Man wouldn't blame him. That's a low blow, and I think the the Old Man could never blame Sky for what happened as it really wasn't his fault. The Old Man knows when something is out of their control. He's seen so much and can't put the blame on anyone other that Demise.
The Old Man has been shown to have a protective side. This is especily true for his successors. The mans got three, and one of them is his decendent so he tends to look out for them a little more. Ofcours he doesn't want to any anyone get hurt, but after what happened to the Rancher the Old Man is seriously on edge.
______
Those are my over all thoughts on the Hero Of Time. I said this on my first post about him but I really like his games! They bring me so much joy to play and they will for ever hold a special place in my heart. THANK YOU FOR READING! The next hero is the Hero of Legend!
