I am severely unmotivated with writing right now. I fear S7 really killed my writing muse. Chenford week is coming up and I've participated the past two years now and don't want to break tradition! So feel free to send me prompts and ideas in my ask box to help me get something going! <3

His second house was my fave. I don't really like his current house which is a bummer because this is the one that's here to stay lol. It's grown on me though.

I think what gets me the most is the waiting.

I'm cool with the finale for the most part. I just hate that now we have to wait 8 months.

Ever since Chenford got together, we've done more waiting than watching lol. 4 months of eps in the second half of season 5 - then the almost 10 month strike hiatus. 3 months of episodes, then the almost 8 month hiatus. 4 months of episodes then another almost 8 month hiatus.

11 months of watching the show, about 26 months of waiting for the show to return in three years time.

I also think the extended waits are what get people frustrated (myself included) because we know we don't have much time to see what we want.

Waiting until September would be so fast.

Plus the COVID year hiatus, that means in 7 seasons this show has only ever had three normal length hiatuses - season 1 to 2, season 3 to 4, and season 4 to 5. 😂

Anyway just rambling on a Sunday night.

I hope to! To be honest, this season has really killed my writing motivation. It's hard to imagine that we're going into another hiatus and the same issues from last season have not been addressed. I got kind of burnt out trying to "fix" the breakup in my writing, because I felt like I was writing the same thing over and over and at this point, I feel like that's still where they're at - needing to have this talk they haven't had. So I've kind of lost interest in writing that or post-episode pieces because they always tend to take me into fixing things for them lol. My favorite thing to write is established Chenford and I've just gotten no inspiration for that lately given their status at the moment, it feels so hard to picture right now. Hopefully something will come to me over the hiatus and I'm hoping Chenford Week gets the juices flowing when it's time for that!

I always said that the "adult conversation" would be extremely simple and streamlined, but was not expecting a truth serum to be part of it (would've been nice if they could communicate sober after everything but I'm literally not even going to harp on that) but then they found a way to show us a snippet of it when there was clearly more before and after lol of course.

At this point I don't even care I just want them back together.
