Dragon Age Inquisition: Phasmophobia
Based on a conversation with my sister while we played Phasmophobia -Mod M
Blackwall: Dies the first time, every time. Nobody knows why. He honestly doesn't play often, but he does find it fun when he does. He just doesn't play video games that much!
Cassandra: She really doesn't get what's turned the Inquisitions elite into a bunch of scared children. At least, until one manifests in front of her. Then its the full "in the name of the father the son and the holy spirit, could you fuck off please" thing
Cole: He doesn't play. He does, however, give his own guesses from the side, and bring things like blankets or tea when people start getting too scared.
Dorian: Gives the game shit over inaccuracies, and has yet to be jumpscared. At least openly. He did make a pretty interesting noise at one point when one popped up and killed Iron Bull like two inches away from him
Iron Bull: He has a decent system down to check things, though he always double checks what signs go to what. Honestly doesn't panic too much if he's attacked, and sometimes will do so on purpose to get evidence.
Sera: She sits and watches everyone's sanity and the little meter that shows the ghosts activity level. Shes really vocal when it goes up above a 5. She also throws supplies out instead of letting anyone in the car because "I don't know what you're bringing with you!"
Solas: Stays in the car and watched the cameras, though he waits way too long to tell anyone. He always ends up with the highest sanity, mostly because he doesn't do much besides that.
Varric: He has all of the spirits and the signs of them memorized. Panic gives spirits stories of like, how they died and what they did before that.
Vivienne: She only plays in online servers or from another room, where she can mute her mic and nobody can hear her undignified whimpers of terror or see her expressions. She talks about how its foolish to be scared by a game like this, but its honestly the suspense that gets her.
Cullen: Sits way too close to his computer and launches it if he gets jumpscared. Wants to get out as quickly as possible, but is terrible at getting the spirit type right.
Josephine: Tries to reason with the spirit. She doesn't like taking pictures of the other players bodies, it feels mean.
Leliana: A little too calm about all of this. Her and Iron Bull are in an unspoken race to correctly guess which spirit it is first, and if they both have the same answer, the rest of the party agrees.

Low approval DA:I companions and advisers react to receiving a backhanded compliment from the Inquisitor
Mostly it's just "oh you think you're slick, huh?" but thats a cheap answer. Enjoy! -Mod M
Blackwall: Well he deserved that one. Honestly, Blackwall won't really protest being given a backhanded compliment or two. At least the Inquisitor was nice enough to be a little nice about it, rather than just up and insult him. He's just gonna store that comment right here, in his heart, and then he's gonna eventually die.
Cassandra: She's done a lot of work for them and the Inquisition, and now she's getting this too? She gets a particularly stern frown, letting out a noise of disdain and going back to whatever she was working on (likely training or checking a map). Honestly, she ignores it after a couple minutes and it doesn't really bother her later.
Cole: He honestly only catches on that it's backhanded because the Inquisitor doesn't really like him and he can tell. Its mean, but he mostly shrugs it off. Sometimes people just don't like other people, and there isn't much you can do.
Dorian: Ah! Tevinters favorite pastime, being sarcastic and backhanded. Inquisitor, you've quite possibly just stepped in over your head, Dorian's got this down pat. You've started a whole snark-off if you want to keep going down this path (and I don't recommend that).
Iron Bull: Dont think he doesn't know, he just doesn't particularly care. Its nothing new, and he's probably heard something similar from some asshole noble before. If its particularly creative, he may even start laughing honestly. Well that's a new one!
Sera: "Yeah, well, er... your mom!" She tries to come up with something good, but can't really. There's a good chance she comes up with something better while she's getting ready for bed or something, and starts grumbling a bit that she didn't think of it sooner. She holds onto that for next time, and just puts a bucket of water above the Inquisitors door for now.
Solas: Really? How immature. He was probably saying something or another about the Fade or spirits when the Inquisitor piped up, prompting him to pull a particularly judgemental face and shake his head. He made a quick return comment about how the Inquisitor would do well to try learning, but tried to leave it at that.
Varric: Hey, at least it (probably) wasnt about his height. Look at you, being creative! Listen, he spends a good amount of time thinking up interesting exclamations and insults, hes probably got some comment to send right back if he decides to.
Vivienne: Vivienne is the second worst person to start this with, partially because she has only slightly more to lose from a misstep. The Inquisitor brings a lot of influence, even if they are a pest sometimes. She mostly goes the "its so brave that you just wear anything" route tbh
Cullen: Not the first time, not the last time. A lot of mages he's worked with in the past have given him countless backhanded compliments, he honestly tunes them out most of the time. He has bigger things to focus on than someone being snippy, even if it's the Inquisitor. He has to deal with Inquisition troops, he's busy!
Josephine: Shes hurt, but this kind of thing is common in politics. Shes also used to it, and isn't too vengeful about it. The Inquisitor is under a lot of stress, and people can be unpredictable sometimes. Unprecedented times, unprecedented people, yes?
Leiliana: She will make the Inquisitors life slightly more uncomfortable until she feels she's had her revenge. Sleeping? I hope you don't mind a bird sitting outside your window just... staring at you and being really loud at the crack of dawn. Your chairs also happen to be just a tiny bit squeaky every time you move, among other small annoyances.

Fun blog! May I request the DA2 companions reacting to the idea that Varric and Bethany are dating? Hawke too, of course.
Not my best work but hey, it's done! I hope yall enjoy. -Mod M
Carver: He's only a little annoyed. Just a bit. Its worse if Hawke is also dating someone because oh goddammit why does he have to be last? Every time! Annoyance aside, he is actually pretty happy for his sister. Everyone's been stressed since they left Lothering, hes happy she's happy if that makes sense. Carver is an angry hedgehog with a particularly soft tummy, when he lets people near him, okay?
Blue Hawke: Awww, good for those two! A nice Hawke would likely be happy for their sister and best friend, they both deserve to be loved! Isn't it great that they're happy together? Carver can't stand the sudden burst of even more optimism in the house
Purple Hawke: Show of hands, who saw that coming? Hawke did. Varric calls Bethany Sunshine and he likes the sun, if that didn't make it blatant enough! Sarcastic Hawke is never serious, but they’re also not particularly mean about their jokes (unless they're a mix of purple and red, then they might be).
Red Hawke: Oh for the love of- really? Right in front of my salad? Don't you hurt her feelings! Aggressive Hawke has the shovel talk handled, trust me. There were probably some creative comments involving nailing certain bits of anatomy to one of the twin statues Varric did anything to hurt Bethany, and possibly a warning shot her way about hurting their friend.
Anders: Hmmm? Oh, okay... what, who and who? Well, he'll admit he didn't see that one coming. He half-thought Varric wouldn't date anyone, what with how he talks about his crossbow. Either way, he sends a polite congratulations to the two and for the most part goes about his day, since his work keeps him busy. That night though, he actually sat down and planned out something better to say next time he saw the two.
Aveline: Oh Andraste preserve us there could be two of Varric at some point. Aveline already knew that, but the fact that he's now dating another person it properly hits. Despite her touches of dread, she remained civil, and she is actually happy for the two (especially if this happens after Hawke helps her with Donnic). Kirkwall is still one big tragedy after another, despite her best attempts, and she's glad there can still be joy.
Fenris: He genuinely offers the two of them a drink, probably at the Hanged Man since that's the easiest place to meet up. Mostly its just to catch up and congratulate them, but also because he's curious if either of the two act any different. And if he'll have to keep a closer eye on them in battle so nobody on his side gets cut in half because they were making heart eyes and not fighting.
Isabela: She'll have... talks with the people that give the two of them trouble, whether its because Bethany is a mage or Varric is a dwarf or both. These friendly conversations may or may not involve a knife, depending on the other persons behavior. Besides that, she definitely makes an inappropriate joke or two about it.
Merrill: Oh, how sweet! Merrill loves love honestly, and she thinks they look very adorable together! She might even make a gift for the two of them to celebrate! How about flower crowns? Would flower crowns be a good gift? Ohhhh, she could embroider something for them! It may not look the best, but she's quite proud of her work.
Sebastian: He probably says something along the lines of "Andrastes blessings on your relationship" and keeps going with whatever he's working on before he actually processes what he just got told. When that gets trough his head, he whips around to them and starts asking questions. Listen, its friendly concern! "When were you going to tell me?" "Just a minute ago Choir Boy."

How about the companions and advisors reacting to meeting the Qunari Inquisitor's elven daughter after she breaks into Haven to "rescue" their mom/dad. (Take your time. I know you aren't feeling well)
I swear I'm not lazy I'm just forgetful. And with this done, I'm off to the gym, hopefully I'll write more when I get back! -Mod M
Blackwall: Well that's... interesting. He tries his best to explain to her that her parent wasn't in danger in Haven and that they didn't need to be rescued, to a debatable level of success. Listen, he tried! If all else fails, he tries to get Josephine so she can talk her down.
Cassandra: Shes even worse at talking her down than Blackwall. Mostly, Cassandra ends up taking the "if they wanted out, they would've gotten halfway across Thedas by now" approach. Though she hates to admit it, it's right. It's not like anyone can force the Herald to stay somewhere, they can seal rifts, so they always have the upper hand in discussions about their treatment.
Cole: He gets why she's breaking in. Worry or anger or spite or whatever else, he gets it. So he helps, since that's what Cole does, however might work best. Likely, he'll go get the Herald to talk to their kid instead of anyone else, because that's what she wants in the end. Why would you rescue someone you didn't want to see?
Dorian: Oh well isn't that darling. A heroic rescue for her dear captured parent! Almost storybook, isn't it? Well, he can hardly judge. He'll definitely judge (jokingly, and he'll quit before he crosses any lines), but at the same time he would probably do something similar for a friend so... he shuts up pretty quick if someone points that out, though not without a bit of snark.
Iron Bull: Oh he gets a kick out if it. Listen, he gets stabbed by assassins and shrugs it off. The Heralds daughter? No problem. If she might cause an actual problem, he'll step in, but mostly he just watches what she's doing and jokes about it to the Herald later. He does let Cullen amd Leliana know how she got in though.
Sera: Catch her laughing her butt off at this. Did you see everyone's faces? Hilarious! Honestly she's 110% willing to work with the Heralds daughter in the future. Can you imagine the chaos they could cause? Especially if she's as sneaky as Sera. Oh Maker, what has this rescue brought upon Haven? Beehives in all the training dummies, thats what.
Solas: I'm gonna be real with y'all, there's a good chance he didn't notice until later. As far as he's concerned, thered always chaos in Haven. He probably shrugged it off as Sera pranking someone again and causing a fuss. Later though, when he finds out it was the Heralds daughter, he's honestly a little shocked. If this is going to be a pattern with her, hes gonna need to set our ground rules (they likely involve "dont damage my paintings or books during your chaotic ventures in the future")
Varric: 5 sovereigns says something more chaotic happens in about half an hour. He half-jokes about putting her attempted daring rescue in his book about the Heralds story, though he actually might if she seems interested. Honestly, he's coming up with nicknames the minute he thinks she might stay. What that nickname ends up being honestly probably has something to do with how she tried to get in.
Vivienne: Oh she's gonna lecture. Stuff about how we need the Herald to close rifts and destroying Havens (already minimal) defenses to try and "rescue" the Herald is selfish and immature. Vivienne does somewhat understand though. Once she's certain that their sudden guest has gotten the point, she rests a hand on her shoulder. 'A letter would have sufficed darling, I'm sure [Inquisitors name] would have been happy to invite you here.'
Cullen: Ohhhhh no. No no no. Hes stressed. Listen if a likely untrained and possibly particularly spiteful kid/teen can get in, then a trained spy or assassin definitely can. Cullen knows that Haven isn't exactly fortified, but now its just gonna bother him until he fixes how she got in. Let the poor man sleep hes trying his best
Josephine: She was likely in the middle of talking with a noble when either a guard or Blackwall ran up, trying to explain to her that the Heralds daughter broke in and is trying to rescue her parent, and she nearly had a stroke when she learned said daughter was an elf. Honestly, she spent most of the time she was talking to the daughter trying to figure out how to draw attention away and avoid nobles complaining about all the elves in Haven.
Leliana: She probably saw it coming from a mile away. Oh, the scouts are reporting someone nearby asking about the Herald? Got it. That same person is headed here? Alright. She asks the Herald if they know anyone matching that description, even if there's a good chance she already knows what's up. What happens next depends on what the Herald wants to do tbh, but Leliana does at least try to set up a room for her so she has somewhere to stay once her "rescue mission" was done.

DA:O companions react to the Grey Warden naming their mabari after them.
This one was fun! Thanks for requesting, I hope you like it! -Mod M
Alistair: Are you trying to make the man cry? Cause you’re succeeding! He’s beyond honored that there’s now a dog named after him (and not just happening to share his name). If you watch close, you might just catch him slipping Alistair The Second extra food
Morrigan: How.... touching? She’s gonna give you weird looks, and might give you a bit of trouble over causing “needless confusion”, but deep down she’s charmed that you think highly enough of her to name your dog friend after her.
Zevran: Sometimes BRB means be ready bitch so be careful. What should you be ready for? Jokes every single time you try to get the dogs attention. It’s all in good fun for him though, he’ll let up on it if you ask. He knows dogs are a big thing in Fereldan, but he doesn’t mind much either way that he shares a name with one
Leiliana: She gasps in delight when you tell her about your naming choices, and smiled the entire day. How sweet of you! She’s one of the few that genuinely thinks you’re trying to get her attention while you’re talking to the dog, especially if she’s not looking and randomly hears her name. Mabari can totally be scary warhounds in a collar with bows, what are you talking about?
Sten: Considering that ‘Sten’ is a military rank, he thinks that you’re trying to give your dog a warrior title until you explain what you meant by it. He’s touched, albeit a bit confused, by the gesture. Based on his “conversation” with dog where they’re just growling at each other, he respects dog as a warrior, so he sees it as a fitting title.
Oghren: ....Huh? A dog named Oghren? Give him a bit to finish laughing so he can reply, okay? He hasn’t particularly had a good time with life, so hopefully you aren’t passing on the bad luck here, yeah? And uhh... s’real sweet of you? He isn’t really sure what to think.
Wynne: Now she’s twice as determined to get that dog a bath. “No animal with my namesake will be going around smelling like... that” she says as she herds the other Wynne towards the water, carrying a bag full of various soaps and the like. Besides the betrayed looks thrown to her by other Wynne after a bath, they get along great! She thinks it’s very sweet of you to name your pet after her.
Shale: They’re definitely gonna enlist Shale Jr. on their pigeon killing quest, no doubt about it. And pass on their disdain of books (“I’d sooner eat a book than read it”). Shale Jr. is in over their little puppy head here, but they’re smart, they’ll figure it out. Shale probably adds onto that becoming the divine joke (?) by saying the dog will be their left hand

(With a parent Inquisitor) How do you think the companions/advisors would react to Inky's kid taking a shine to them in specific? Like, personal hero stuffs/'wanna be like you' things.
This one was in my WIPs for a long time now And with this, I bid you all good night! -Mod M
Blackwall: He feels so guilty. Constantly tells them that they don't really want to be like him, sees them get sad, gets guilty, and teaches them something. He doesn't have the heart to tell them that he's not who they think he is.
post Revelations Blackwall: He's surprised that after finding out who he really is, they still look up to him. He tries his best to be someone worthy of their admiration, and does enjoy talking to them.
Cassandra: She loves it, even if she doesn't admit it. She'll teach the kid how to fight, all the Andrastian prayers they want to learn, and how to care for armor. She probably braids their hair and wraps it around their head like hers. She'll train with the kid as much as they want. She wouldn't tell anyone, but she loves having someone look up to her so much. It reminds her of when she was a kid, following Anthony around and seeing him as an unstoppable hero.
Cole: Watching, learning, admiring. Happier when they're near him. He knows they know they can't be exactly like him, but they want to help, so he lets them. It makes them happy, and he can still do what he needs to do. Sometimes, they help more than they think, and he'll tell them. Other times they just sit and talk about all sorts of things. Cole doesn't tell them how much they help him then.
Dorian: Externally, he's very, well, Dorian about it. "Of course you want to be like me, I'm a miracle!" But internally, he's worried. He didn't exactly have the best childhood, and to have a kid want to be like him made him terrified of how they'd turn out. He has to look over his shoulder constantly for people all too ready to kill him for being a mage, or Tevene, not to mention disagreeing with the views of most of his countrymen. If the kid is a mage, and the Inquisitor is okay with it, he teaches them necromancy, but warns them against trying to fix an entire country.
Sera: Prank buddy! They play pranks left and right, watching them play out from the roof. Probably while eating cookies they stole from the kitchen. She tells them stories from out in the field, adding her own little embellishments where she thinks the truth may be too harsh, and has almost burned down the kitchen baking with them at least once. She keeps them from becoming a Red Jenny (at least until they’re older), but that doesn't mean she won't let them help out. She most definitely teaches them to use a bow, mage or not.
Solas: Welcome to near-constant talking about the Fade! If you though Solas was bad before he had a little kid looking up to him and listening to everything he said, you haven't seen anything yet. He lets them help with his murals (by "help" I mean he gives them paint and spare paper to make up ideas. He does somehow put them in the design though), and definitely reads books with them near-constantly. Up until he leaves, he's actually a pretty good role model. He feels even more terrible about leaving though.
The Iron Bull: Awwwww yeahhhhhhhhhhh tiny honorary Charger time. The tea parties are still a thing, and he probably gives the kid piggyback rides pretty much everywhere. Except for through doors. When Josephine is watching. Otherwise he'll just duck. The Inquisitor better be prepared for the mini heart attacks they're going to get when they see Bull sprinting across the courtyard with their kid on his shoulders. They want to learn how to use an axe? He'll run it by the Inquisitor, and the moment they approve, he's getting all the Chargers in on it.
Varric: This'll be... an interesting story, at least. Hopefully the kid has a less stressful taste in friends than him, or they’re in for a world of gray hairs. He tries to nudge them in the right direction, but he doesn’t give them specific directions on what to do in life. He definitely teaches them how to play wicked grace, but his bets are in things like stories or jokes rather than money.
Vivienne: TBH she’s probably one of the few people that’d be a genuinely good role model. She teaches the kid everything from court manners to how to make a cure to the common cold. The kid wants to learn about [certain thing]? She has books at the ready, no matter how obscure the topic. She loves doing spa days with them too, just as much as she loves to sit and talk with them about simpler things, like their favorite plant.
Cullen: Oh maker, it’s his siblings all over again. He immediately shuts down the whole becoming a Templar thing if the kid has it in their head, instead suggesting they become a knight or something like it. He makes training weapons for them and he’s much less harsh and judgy when training then rather than proper soldiers. He absolutely cooks with them too (did someone say Cullen teaching the kid how to make a very specific soup everyone thought he’d share the recipe for over his dead body? I said that.)
Josephine: The kid knows about the dolls. The kid knows because Josephine plays with them when she’s not working. She basically becomes another parent when the kid says they look up to her. She’d practically implode if they wore something similar to her outfit and followed her around while she was working, especially if they were doing a good job with the nobles. She’s constantly proud of them.
Leiliana: Come with me child, I’ll teach you 13 ways to kill someone with a teaspoon. She’s a murder aunt, but also a fun person. She definitely takes the kid to Orlais to look at pretty shoes (and maybe buy a few pairs), and introduces them to all her pet nugs. She also teaches them how to properly care for birds!

Hey there! Cool to see a cool reaction blog! Anyway, I was hoping maybe I could see the Dragon Age Origins companions (plus romance options) reacting to the Grey Warden revealing that they're a werewolf?
Y’all werewolves are one of my favorite things ever. I’m only going to do romances for tonight (it’s 2 AM), but I’ll do the rest when I wake up. Thanks for sending a request! -Mod M
Alistair: Gives dog toys as gifts. Dog jokes? Dog jokes. Hell, he even gives the Warden mabari war paint! It’s all in good fun though, he’ll quit if they ask. “You know, when you said you were a dog person…”
Alistair (Romance): Pretty much the same, but he also gives out tummy rubs when they’re in wolf form. He also appreciates having a living (and cute) space heater nearby during winter lookouts
Morrigan: Scoffs and rolls her eyes at first, but it grows on her. Don’t go near her when it’s raining or else she’ll complain quite loudly about the smell of wet dog. “I know you’re a werewolf but keep the howling laughter to a minimum, it gives me a headache.”
Morrigan (Romance): She has less dry wit about it, but not by much. She throws things just to see the Warden perk up and follow it with their eyes like they want to chase it, but they’re holding back. She’d never admit to this, of course, but she does.
Zevran: He comes prepared with snacks for transformations. He’s the one that points out dogs shouldn’t have chocolate, even though it’s from a joking point. “Can you understand your dog companion? What does he have to say?”
Zevran (Romance): He’s not above wiggling his brows at the Warden whenever they shift. In fact, he’s exactly at that level. He cracks jokes and innuendos same as ever, but he’s also as sweet as ever Under it all. Give him hugs and he’ll repay you in kisses, though I can’t promise he won’t give you snark if you lick him.
Leiliana: Oh, how adorable! She lights up whenever the Warden does anything remotely dog-like, and even puts bows in their fur. Campfire singalongs with her playing something and the Warden howling the lyrics are one of her favorite things. “You’re much better than the stories say werewolves are!”
Leiliana (Romance): Love songs and howling? Love songs and howling. She worries when Zevran mentions dogs can’t have chocolate, and keeps a very close eye on the Warden if they eat anything with foods dogs can’t have in it. Please hold her hand no matter the form, she needs more love

How would the Da2 LIs react to Hawke left in the fade coming back?
Note: I’ve only done one play through I’d DA2, which still isn’t done, and I’m romancing Fenris (I’m in act 3), and I never spend time with Anders, so I’m sorry if these seem odd. I’m also only doing the LIs, like you specified in your request.-(A very sick) Mod M
Merrill: She absolutely overjoyed! Hawke was one of her few friends, besides Varric, and she was heartbroken when she discovered they were left in the Fade. She'd probably hold on to Hawkes hand until she absolutely had to let go, and even then she'd go back to them the moment she could. She's definitely giving Hawke kisses whenever she can. But she's also a bit mad, though she couldn't stay that way for long after Hawke gave her a sad face when she lectured them.
Isabela: She joked about how Hawke better stay this time, or she really will get a boat and hit the sea again. She showed how happy she was with affection and little gestures over words. An extra smile here and there, an occasional kiss on the cheek, or a few extra coins in their purse. Later, when they were at the estate and alone, they sat and talked about everything the other person missed over whiskey Isabela brought up from the Hanged Man, ending the night falling asleep in front of the fireplace.
Fenris: Hawke taught him to read and write, helped him kill old master, and listened when he needed them to. He was devastated when he discovered Hawke was dead, and just as he tried to start moving on, Hawke came back. He wasn't sure what to think, or how to feel. Happy that his lover was back, angry at himself for being ready to start moving on so quickly, or sad that something else he held dear was almost taken. He decided, in the end, that he'd spent more than enough time on anger and sadness, and to be happy Hawke was back in his arms. As a matter of fact, he was more than happy to stay with Hawke for as long as they wanted him to be there, and even when they wandered with someone else, he kept them in mind.
Anders: They stayed with him after he blew up the chantry, even providing him safe harbor. They'd helped him not only fight for mage rights, but help others for 7 years, and he was both angry and scared for them when he got a letter saying they were in the Fade. Even after Hawke was back, he fretted and worried over them and what affects the time in the Fade may have had, especially if they're a mage. Checking for possession, any injuries, and any signs of otherwise being worse for wear. Maker help him, if he sees a scar he's going to feel terrible he wasn't there to prevent it. Once he's certain Hawke is okay, he lets himself relax, and properly greet them. By properly I mean hug them for about 15 minutes.
