something I like is that, although Clara is the longest serving new who companion (appearing in a total of 38 episodes), the eleventh Doctor and Amy (and later Rory) are the longest lasting doctor-companion team (having a total of 33 episodes together), and I love this because Amy and 11’s lives are so tied together that it makes sense for them to have this honour.
#and this is part of the reason I’m not all too excited that yaz is staying for another season#like i guess it makes sense for her. but i don’t like that it means that she and 13 have been together for longer than 11 and the ponds were#my post
