Sabr is not passive. It is an active state of being. Sabr means persevering towards your noble goals in spite of obstacles and setbacks. Sabr means to stay focused and solution-orientated during difficult times. Sabr means to stay in control of yourself when you in a situation that can cause you to lose control. Sabr means being patient with the challenges and irritating people you meet along the way. Sabr is active, Sabr is deep, sabr is vital for success.

Wise people will not consider "conflict" as one of their options, but it is only considered when you're left with no more options
There are times that I'm asking myself if this change I've done ever since I started college is right. Like, I used to be so impatient, and very very straight forward that I unintentionally hurt a lot of people, even those dear to me. If you'd ask my friends back then to describe, those two will usually come out from their mouth because that's me. But there was then a time when I realized that I was really a bitch and I promised to myself that I'd do my best not to carry those negative attitude in college (I actually don't even consider it as negative but since it's hurting people, and some are not as understanding as others, then okay, nega it is).
Honestly, it was so difficult. It was difficult because you're changing you, but what made me almost successfully improved myself is that I constantly think that, I'm wiser now. And every time that I'm really losing my grip, I constantly chant in my head "Sabr. Sabr. Sabr." because that is what I learned from my friends back then, and it's the most right thing to do, to have Sabr.
Then lately, I'm being tested, some people think that they can boss on me because I don't complain to them, I'd do what they'd ask me to do but for school purposes ONLY. But it seems like they're being abusive and they start ordering things like "finish that", "do that", "send me..." hello! these are group work! In fact every time I asked them their work, they can't show me any! God gracious, they've never seen me mad yet. I'm just waiting for a one shitty thing they'd do and they'll see. You'll hate it when I'm provoked, you'd really really hate it. But now I can clearly see that you guys are really provoking me!

Throwback: December 2k13
Hong Kong and Macau trip with Mom, lil bro, aunt and cousins.
These are the only photos that I have from our Christmas break trip. I lost all my photos because I used my itouch in taking pictures during our trip but it was recently formatted. A big ouch since I stored all my photos there, all memorable photos.
Checked in at Oriental Lander International Hotel for 5 days.

Why can't we have a bridge like this, too?

Hello Kitty's castle in Langham Place
Ocean Park Hong Kong

Cable Car

How can I not love Mom even more when she can be a boyfriend who takes shameless candid photos, too. Hah. Joke, I love my Mom unconditionally.

Feeling famous moment. haha
Hong Kong Disney Land

This was after watching the fireworks display. Too many people and I realized that I really am so short. Huhu. Pinoys are shorter than other Asians, so sad.
MACAU: The City of dreams

The casino where Willie Revillame and Erap Estrada gamble according to those Pinoy workers in Venetian Macau.

Gondola Ride

Macau is as small as Makati City according to our gondolier. And not to mention, I almost cried when I bought a McFlurry, it costs almost a hundred peso in our currency.
The Peak & Madame Tussauds Hong Kong

Because..."When you see this, you know it's in Hong Kong"

The Peak Galleria

My favorite Marvel; Hulk, Iron Man, and Wolverine, Johnny Depp <3, The Beatles, and Audrey Hepburn. I don't like Lady Gaga and trust me, I don't even know who's that old lady. But I know she's part of literature haha.

And of course, sunset at the peak. Joi kin, Hong Kong!

Time Check: 2:05 am
It's usually this time of the night when you just can't stop yourself from thinking, sometimes even over thinking. Wondering if how will be life 10 years from now again. 10 years ago, I was wondering the same thing but I never thought that my life would be like this now. It also feels the same thing as before. I feel excited and scared at the same time of what lies ahead of me. But the same thing as before, I can't help but to hope and pray that 10 years from now, I'll be happy and contented as I'll become. =)
Goodnight, lovekins.

Summer 2k14: La Boracay
I know this blog entry is late for how many months already but I just need to share this beautiful island of Boracay. So I'm not gonna blog the roadtrip part because it'd be another lengthy blog, or maybe I'd blog about it separately.
Last summer, my parents had planned for a family vacation before June classes starts. They'd planned this trip long before because they thought that we need this since my siblings and I are all grown up now. We needed to relax after being so busy in school and Dad in work.

We arrived in Boracay Port early morning and headed to where we checked in during our stay in Boracay.

Alta Vista De Boracay Stayed-in for 3 nights in this beautiful hotel at Station One where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie-Pitt checked in during their visit in the island.

Took some short-walk at D*Mall and felt for the first time the Boracay sand and sun on our skin.

We did Fish Feeding on our first day Note: Bring as many bread as you can.

Beautiful Station One <3

First sunset by the beach. So wonderful.

And there's that lovely morning the next day.

Our second day was planned to do Parasailing, fresh beach air from above. So chill.

Not everyday you got to witness the Boracay sunset. Cotton candy-like clouds. <3

The third day was set for Jet Skiing, Banana Boat and Flying Fish ride

But before going to Station One and continue our activities, we first went and ate our breakfast at the Puka Beach, Alta Vista's private beach.

Seafood Paella, fambam's favorite.

And here's our last sunset at the island. It's such a pure bliss to witness that beautiful sunset everyday. Lucky for those who reside there and love sunsets.

Our fourth day was our last day. But before leaving the island, we did Snorkeling. It was on that day when Mr. Sun finally kissed my skin for swimming under him around 9 am to 12 nn. I didn't care. We then left around 3 pm already. Hahay, nostalgia. See you again soonest.
(P.S. Photos are all no filter because I'd do no justice to the beautiful and natural view if I apply filters. All photos used were took using my phone.)

Weekend Hangover
This blog is a bit lengthy because I have to squeeze my whole weekend (last week) in one blog entry. So please bear with me. Haha.
Day 1:
It was a fine Saturday morning when I woke from my phone which was constantly vibrating, and when I checked it, I had missed calls from Yo. After a few minutes, she finally called back saying they'll come over but they'll have to leave on the next day because they've classes and exams on the coming Monday. Honestly, at first I didn't believe her because we've always planned for something like that to happen but always end up disappointed (never plan) haha. So after talking to Yo, I prepared for I have an appointment with Haynah and Phre at Sweet Leaf. The original plan was to finish our term paper, but it turned out "me" sharing something to them (I almost cried that time). Afterwards, I unexpectedly received a call asking if where I am, the next thing I know, somebody's standing next to me handing a peace-offering cake with a note on it saying "I'm sorry for what happened yesterday". Gosh, of course I was so happy and surprised especially that it was me who's in fault, but it was me who received an apology and a suhol. Haha. (Thank youuuu!)

Then finally, our visitors all the way from Marawi City arrived but as always, their first demand was to eat. We brought them at Pabayo Pateran because they wanted to taste pragatan's Pater (yes, there's a difference). And then we had the mango (peace-offering) cake as our dessert, perf timing eh.

As we finished eating, we head to Chingkee Tea while waiting for others who dropped their things at Ahmad's apartment. But of course, who doesn't take selfies or groupies inside this artsy tea house before leaving, right?

And we're off to Ayala, Centrio to watch If I Stay in last full show with the gang (except for Jap :/ )

After watching If I Stay, we parted ways, boys went partying and slept at Ahmad's. While girls went home with me and we cooked for our midnight snacks. Haynah and I was convincing them to extend their stay here and just go home early on Monday.
Day 2:
Finally convinced them to extend!

We contacted the staff of Ultra Winds Mountain Resort and reserved a shuttle to fetch us on that Sunday afternoon. Not to mention, it is best to visit Ultra Winds to witness the sunset because not only the sunset that will fascinate you but also the city lights.

And then we got lost in the woods because we "Wrong Turn"-ed (sorry, our batch is just so fond of watching Wrong Turn back in hs haha)

Oooh time for the sunset...

...but I realized there's more beyond that sunset, aaaw <3. Haha

Cheers for the friendship! Scripted part of the day haha And geez, we had to order their overpriced food!

We left Ultra Winds around 8pm. I went home to get my things because we were all sleeping at Camella. We were so tired that we didn't had photos during that night at Camella (except for these two, maybe). We stayed outside too long talking about ghosts while taking turn on the mountain bike. Haha. And then we went inside to watch a movie.

Until we didn't notice that it's time for them to go home without sleeping for 2 nights. Yes, we didn't sleep for 2 nights, we just had power naps during those nights.

So that's all for that weekend. We're now planning to have another escapade on October with some other hs friends, too. I hope this time our plan will be pushed through. Amen. Haha. Goodnight, lovekins.
