MHA Fanfic Idea: Quirk Cocktail

I’ve played a bit of Elden Ring: Nightreign and my favorite character by far is Recluse, I absolutely love her “Magic Cocktail” ability and I just think it’s so neat and versatile.

So what if Izuku had a quirk that was inspired by that? Where he could maybe weaken a quirk a bait for a short time, but then add a bit of its power to a growing quirk cocktail.

For example, maybe he could weaken Mineta’s ball-things, Bakugo’s explosions and, Mina’s acid and create some sort of highly volatile sticky-explosive

MHA Fanfic Idea: Gambling Quirk

I’m a fan of Doctor Who and I was thinking about Ncuti Gatwa’s first appearance as the doctor and I thought it would be cool if Izuku had a quirk/power like the Toymaker is kind of implied to, with some modifications.

I love the idea of a wager/gamble wherein anything can be bet, and what if that was Izuku’s quirk? Betting normal things like money and possessions, or things like quirks and memories.

It might be a bit stranger than some other ideas, but it’d be fun

MHA Fanfic Idea: Yuri Witch Izuku

I'm a lesbian who loves lesbians, and I would just jump at the excuse to think about some, so here's what I think is certainly an out-there, but novel, concept.

Izuku (I don't know how to feminize japanese names... Izumi?) and Jiro are apart of two, opposing, clans of witches/wizards who have existed quite long before the dawn of quirks and have conflicting goals. The names are silly, because I deem that they should be silly. Izuku(?) is going to be the Witch of One and Jiro will be the Witch of All. The idea behind the Witch of One is that she represents a sort of anti-industrialization idea, the abilities having a purpose to be anti-quirk as a whole (not that I think this Izuku should be or anything, maybe you could tell a cool story with the 'not my power' thing, Todoroki and Izuku having that realization together). Another name is The Witch One-Witch-Nature, because Izuku will have a host of nature related magicks but no form of technology. But The Witch of All is pro-quirk, The Witch for All of Humanity as an alternate name. Her powers are also fun, she'll still have the earlobes, but Jiro will also have an insane level of technokinesis to go alongside it. Yes, I did name them that because of All for One and One for All. Yes, I do think they should get together, because lesbians supersede Millenia old blood feuds

MHA Fanfic Idea: Champions of The Beyond

This one won't get a blurb, because it's strange, but what if Izuku had a quirk of some kind; just one gifted to him by a god beyond all understanding.

I love the idea of something so vast and powerful that it could not be understood, so what if there was a collection of them that were using Earth and certain quirked characters as some sort of avatars? There are three-five that come to my mind as fun ones for some of the major existing characters/quirks: - The Library/Librarian/Scholar...: This one would be for Izuku, and represents knowledge of some sort, it infact would choose Izuku before others chose theirs, possessing some sort of foresight or omniscience. The Library(?) would obviously give him some sort of quirk and basically rewrite him into kind of always having a quirk (but maybe being a late bloomer?), and his quirk would be that he could mimic other quirks that he has studied (explaining the notebooks and his obsession with quirks) but with twice the backlash. The Mother: This would be Momo's, because a mother is unfortunately the first thing I thought of for a creation quirk. Now Momo wasn't born quirkless, and I won't change that (because it should stay really rare), but instead she'll get a power-up (maybe making Homunculi as well?) The Thief: This would be AFO's, because a quirk that could steal quirks just seems super special... why did it arrive so early if the Library was supposed to be the first? It's the thief, it took that knowledge from the Library (not that the Library stopped it) The other two beings that might be cool would be maybe one for OFA and one for Tokoyami... and definetly some more for villains and other characters (like Eri, Eri would be a good one)

I think any ship could work, I can't decide if it's more interesting for Izuku and one of the 'Blessed' or someone else.... it's up for anyone to decide really

MHA Fanfic Idea: OFA is Weird...

This idea may or may not get it's own blurb, who's to say, but OFA is an incredibly conspicuous quirk; which does make sense. But what if it didn't have to be?

What if One For All instead served as a quirk battery, and when you received it it would boost your power with the reserves of the stockpile?

But this doesn't work for Izuku, who would still be quirkless until receiving One For All. So there's an additional function to one for all reserved for quirkless people, that it creates a new quirk tailored to the user.

Where does this tie into me calling One For All too conspicuous? Well now it doesn't just give you a quirk, but it turns you into a quirked person (Wanna know how that works? How does a girl cancel gravity with her hands?) And for the final tidbit of today, instead of gaining new quirks (the quirks of the past users, which all of them have now) you gain aspects of each quirk tacked onto your own. (You'd have to come up with Quirks for the previous quirkless users though, maybe Yoichi too) You could somehow still incorporate the "Having a quirk before fucks you up" thing if you really wanted to as well.

MHA Fanfic Idea: Izuku: The Hero of Resolve

This idea will eventually have it's own little blurb for it, but it's an idea that I want to write out first. It focuses on the undead and Izuku's determination if anyone is curious

This idea revolves around Revenants, the type of undead that is driven solely by a strong sense of revenge. You may be thinking, "Izuku doesn't really have anyone to take revenge against" which is true, and I don't plan on changing that. The main difference between Izuku and a classic Revenant is that he does not live in undeath for revenge, he lives in undeath for Resolve, his resolve to be a hero prevents him from dying. I also think he should get a little stronger with every death; as so to actually overcome struggle.

I think it would be super fun to write, and if I wrote it as a fanfic I would start from the USJ and have the Nomu kill him, and him come back, and then eventually in story telling reveal other deaths in the past. Maybe one to Bakugou's bullying and then several to OFA (Because of the sheer power of the quirk) I think this fanfic would also be Izuku x Reiko, because I love rarepairs and Reiko's aesthetic as a character. Additionally, some characters should also be supernatural beings, like maybe Reiko is some form of poltergeist on top of her telekinesis quirk? Making it stronger. Maybe Dark Shadow is actually some form of demon that is part quirk/part demon? And for my final idea, an extra group of baddies called "The Monster Hunter's Guild", who track down and hunt supernatural beings, but also tend to be anti-mutant (especially for mutations that resemble supernatural creatures)

MHA Quirk Idea: Dragon of Gluttony/Gluttonous Dragon

When I can't think of a good blurb to write for a quirk or concept, I'll just make a smaller post describing an idea that I think would be cool. As said in my other post; feel free to use these ideas, just link whatever you make to me please!

I think this idea flows a little smoother if Ryukyu (the dragon heroine) is Izuku's aunt, because fire breath is basically a draconic quirk and I don't want this idea to be too much of an abstraction.

Inko's quirk is pretty lackluster on it's own, but when you combine it with Hisashi's it can make for a pretty good metaphor on gluttony; imagine, if you will, a fire that feeds itself by pulling fuel in. Dragon of Gluttony functions around that concept, Izuku sucking things in like kirby to serve as fuel for a set of classic draconic abilities (AKA basic stockpiling, strength and other physical stats included with fire breathing and maybe flight) I think it would be especially cool if it dragon of gluttony could eat anything, in a very broad sense of the word. If you're interested in shipping (which I am) I think this could make for a good Momo / Izuku, both 'foodies' with fuel quirks.

(MHA) Fanfic Blurb: Izuku but pure speed

This is my first (of hopefully many more) "Fanfic Blurbs", where I take an idea I have and write a few paragraphs depicting a scene with it. If you are ever inspired by one of my ideas, feel free to take it and use it for your own works, just let me know so that I can read it myself! I always love new things to read! This idea is pretty straight forward, Izuku has logic defying speed instead of super strength, and we get to see that against the entrance exam Zero-Pointer. Feel free to leave criticism! Please don't be too harsh as this is my first of any sort of fanfic or narrative writing.

"Clench your butt cheeks and, from the bottom of your heart, yell SMASH!"

All Might's advice echoed through Izuku's mind as he saw the Zero-Pointer and the girl it was about to crush. She seemed stuck, and hurt, and was the one that stopped Izuku from tripping earlier; The Zero-Pointer was massive, practically a kaiju, but so much faster than anything of that size should move.

The test wasn't for much longer, and Izuku should be trying to get more points, but he couldn't just leave someone in harm's way. He started to run towards the pinned girl, just praying that One For All would work, when everything seemed to stop. It was like the world was on pause, Izuku included, as the air around him started to hum and his hair stood on end. Izuku could hear his heartbeat thunder in his ears as the air around him began to burn and everything started back up again within moments.

Everything happened all in the same moment as without a thought, and with only a step, Izuku burst forward at an impossible speed; a shockwave of something like lightning rippled from where Izuku's foot touched the ground as he shot through the Zero-Pointer like a bullet through tissue paper. Izuku ended up unconscious and, buried a few feet into the ground quite a ways behind the zero pointer, looking much worse for wear than before his attack, sparking with excess energy and sporting more than his fair share of bruises, cuts and maybe broken bones.
