“With You In The Future” Sequel Out!
As I said in a previous post, I absolutely loved Satoimo’s “With You In The Future”. I loved the detailed and brilliant artwork. I loved how Satoimo handled Naruto and Hinata’s relationship, I loved the humor, I loved the climax, I loved the ending… I loved everything about it!
Well, Satoimo just put out a sequel!
Tumblr media
(And, yes, it’s a direct sequel to the story. If you click on the preview, you will see a flashback to the original “With You In The Future”)
Now, before you ask, yes, I already ordered a copy and, yes, you will eventually see it in English if TL Anon wishes to translate it. BUT, I have a policy of not posting or typesetting anything while it’s still being sold.
So, if you wish to see this in English, please support the artist and buy a copy for yourself.
Here is the Toranoana Link:
http://www.toranoana.jp/mailorder/article/04/0030/40/01/040030400180.html
You can use doujinpress to get yourself a copy.
Once I confirm that the doujin has been sold out, then the rest of the process will commence.

I'm curious of what the writers are going to do about Susie subplot. The character obviously identifies as male yet the other characters (Jaz and Sabrina) created this feminist girl power book club for a person who doesn't identify as a girl. I wonder how they are going to deal with that.

December 15, International Tea Day
International Tea Day was founded in 2005 to raise recognition of tea workers around the world. This day brings to light the issues that tea workers deal with regularly such as wages, medical care, access to education, and improved sanitation.
You can see this booklet by asking for box 1 folder 13 of the Dexter-Roundy family papers, 1772-1951 in the UWM Archives. It was printed in Japan but is not dated and each page has a different tea fact, information about tea production, or tea consumption.

Shinto Priest with a Child.  In earlier generations, the infant mortality rate in Japan was high, so infants are always blessed by a Shinto priest.

The Akasaka Odori
Geisha Asuka poses for photos during the Akasaka odori currently taking place in Tokyo. It´s a luxurious affair that attracts a large crowd since 1949 albeit going through a decade long hiatus. There are even some photos of then Maiko Mikako and Mamefuji waiting to enter the ACT Theater, where the odori is now held. The Kabuki-za had been the events home theater for years before it was moved to the musical theater. A constant performer in the odori for years, Asuka is one of the veterans of her small community.
Asuka left Japan to travel the world in her youth and seeing her native country from the outside made her appreciate her roots even more. Since her mother had encouraged her to take nihonbuyo lessons as a child, she decided to become a Geisha when she returned from her travels. She was fascinated by the traditional Geisha-look and she certainly has achieved it for herself too. Akasaka´s Geisha are known for their flashy style and big, bold patterns and statement pieces so the Akasaka odori is the perfect place to witness the distinct flavor of the kagai. And of course to see Asuka!

Hey guys! I recently did this promo art for QUEST, a streamlined, story-focused tabletop RPG funding now on Kickstarter. If the project happens I’ll be doing illustrations for the entire game book!!! Definitely check it out and, if you’re so inclined, help us make something really cool!
