Ridoc's love for patches is kinda ironic considering how much he hates sewing. Like, honey, how do you think you attach them to your uniform?
I can just imagine him cheering because he got a new patch, only for the realization to hit him later like: "FUCK! I have to fucking SEW it on now! *punches a wall*"

One thing I've realized lately. The majority of Tumblr is pre-Tori Woods (who wrote Daddy's Little Toy which reeks of pedophilia and is NOT A BLOODY KINK) and the entirety of Threads is anti-Tori Woods (as I agree with) people
I'm with Threads on this, the people who side with her have GOT to have something loose in their skulls.

Garrick: *grabs panicked first year and points at Xaden* That’s our Duke of Tyrrendor. Stoic, terrifying, deadly and a damn good kisser in a crisis. We call him Honey Bear.
First year (sweating): I- uh.. yes, Lieutenant Tavis.
Garrick: *stares at first year expectantly*
First year (terrified): *nods at Xaden* Good morning.. uh- Honey bear.
Xaden: *death glare directed at Garrick* I hope the poison finishes the job next time.

I can't believe there are people who defend Tori Woods
she wrote an erotic book with a pink childish cover about a man who decided to "wait" for an underage girl. when she was THREE. that man wanted a three year old. and there wasn't any justice, there wasn't any "the man was bad and he got arrested", there wasn't any "the girl got groomed and slowly tries to get past the trauma".
it was a pe**phile book written by a pe**phile, which will be most likely read by pe**philes
a pe**phile isn't someone who hurts children because he/she's attracted to them, it's someone who's ATTRACTED to them
there is no place in any media for people who romanticise pe**philia and Tori SHOULD be arrested
I don't give a shit that it was fiction. It can be read by pe**philes who will think "oh so other people think the same, maybe it's not wrong for me to like children"
so when would Tori be arrested? after she hurt a child? after she watched child p*rn? PREVENTION is better than CONSEQUENCES.
authors who write pe**philia purely for fun/arousal are criminals and should be kept away from society, especially when they have their own children (yes tori has children) cause I can't IMAGINE how sick you have to be to write a book titled "Daddy's Little Toy" about pe**philia with NO justice, NO lesson, NOTHING. JUST P*RN.
it's not about censoring books, it's about arresting sick people.

What a load of insane horse 💩💩. The author known as Tori Woods deserved what she got when she got arrested in her home country. It is NOT fucking "age play"!

OMG there are people out there who are actual Tori Woods fans, especially those who call what she wrote a kink, instead of what it truly is. Glad she got arrested, in her home country, for it.
Google the penname that book is NOT kink, it is gross pedophilia!
I had to block that TW apologist because I didn't want her excusing TW for what she wrote!

“The creatures were crawling on their hands and knees, biting into ripe heads of cauliflower, which they had mistaken for stray brains. Elizabeth and Darcy laughed at the sight, and for a moment, resolved to keep walking. But, sharing a glance and a smile, the pair realised they had stumbled onto their first opportunity to fight side-by-side.
And so they did.”

A more sympathetic view of Mary during Pride and Prejudice (from Longbourn by Jo Baker): In her own room, Mary closed her eyes and rested her fingers on the piano keys, and took a breath and let it go, and, trying to ignore the shrieks and clattering and squabbles from next door, began again her Irish air. One day, she knew, her fingers would fly about the keyboard with the facility and delicacy of tiny birds. One day. But until then, there was just the lumbering work of practise, practise, practise, and the distraction of those silly sisters, whose immoderacy of behaviour was now manifested by a series of high-pitched squeals that suggested that Kitty had lost her temper entirely, and was now pulling Lyddie’s hair. If they could but think of higher things, of music, religion, good works, instead of officers—her fingers plodded up and down the keyboard, now picking out the sweet opening notes of Haydn’s Love Dialogue—then they would, no doubt, be happier creatures for it. Her thoughts drifted unwittingly to that courteous, gentle Mr. Collins, whom, she was certain, she could have made quite happy. She had no such confidence in Charlotte Lucas, who might come one day to deserve him, but who certainly did not love him, not like Mary did; and who must never be allowed to suspect what turmoil she had, with her rank opportunism, engendered in Mary’s tender breast. Because Mary had allowed herself to daydream, and she should have never allowed herself that. She had let herself think of the possibility of reciprocated love, of marriage, of the new importance that it would bring to her; of how, on becoming Mr. Collins’s bride, she would have also become the means of her family’s salvation, and no longer just the plain, awkward, overlooked middle child.

I’ve read “Mary B” already and I loved it. I couldn’t believe how “sweet” little Georgiana reacted when she caught Mary trying to play something on her piano. But that nothing compared to the spiteful crone Lizzy turned into by the end of the book. Mr. Darcy, in my opinion married the WRONG Bennet sister

A quote that I feel sums up Mary Bennet to me:
"I have the two qualities you require to see absolute truth. I am brilllant and unloved."
--Miss Evangelista (Doctor Who: Forest of the Dead)
-------
What gets me is that the quote is said by the same actress who plays Mary in the 2005 film!

I was just thinking about how Gaiman had read the god damn room and fucked off. About how I’d said my peace, packed away my books, seen him get projects canceled, and that was that until and unless he decided to poke his head out to check if the smoke had cleared. In which case we’d all need to make sure he knew it had not.
But now he’s going after one of the accusers. (Caroline Wallner, the woman who lived and worked on his NY property.) What the fuck does this asshole expect to get from this? He’s not doing for the money. Even with projects getting canceled, he doesn’t need it. He can’t be doing it for the optics. This isn’t going to win back ANY fans. The only thing it can be is malice and revenge. A petty little man trying to wrangle back whatever fraction of power and control he can. Fucking pathetic.
I sincerely doubt he’s on here checking his tag, but if he is, then he can rest assured that he is still sewage scum and can fuck right back off.

One-time fauxgressive, now graduate of the Johnny Depp school of misusing the legal system to torment women, Neil Gaiman is suing Caroline Wallner for breach of NDA. From the article:
Vincent White, Wallner’s lawyer, was surprised Gaiman had filed the claim against his client. White, an employment lawyer in New York who specializes in sexual harassment in the workplace, said that in his experience, allegedly abusive men only rarely sued women for violating NDAs because the optics were so poor. When you’re trying to silence someone who’s alleging “really heinous acts,” White said, “everyone thinks, Oh, the allegation must be true. I would think he may have come to the conclusion he has nothing left to lose.”
Oh, I think he can lose a lot more.
