Hashtags for action
Social media has given the voiceless a voice when it comes to politics, justice and race and gender relations. We have noticed the movements like #blacklivesmatter and how impactful they have been on social action. The building of community, showing the power of people and truly the bond of the American people. Now, the movement is rolling out #whatmatters2020 for the upcoming elections. It’s a time to focus on important issues people are facing and how to keep voices heard. It’s amazing how social media is being used as a tool for creating necessary change.
