Years ago, back when the skies were dotted with sparkling stars, below the hot springs bubble with water from the volcanic heat.

A green haired man runs past the forest, encounters a clearing with said spring. As he rests, his tears flow into the water, hoping to wash his worries away. But suddenly, out comes a flaming spirit, angry for the disturbance of its sleep.

Twas the encounter of the two, years past and their friendship soared, one day the green man confessed his love for the spirit.

Yet the spirit, whom didn't know how to respond, fled and never been heard from again.

Saddened by the response, the green haired man weeps, not understanding why.

Even more years have gone by, the spritely young man turned old and frail, still waiting by the spring.

One day a blonde man, stands beside him and asks.

"Have you ever heard the tale of the fire of hot springs?"

Orrrr it could be when they're both working adults, Katsuki would be known to be a cold aggressive lawyer in court and hasn't lost a single case once, while Izuku is a top tier forensic who's extremely thorough when gathering evidence and accurate with his findings. And since lawyers would sometimes partner up with the forensic to solve a case.... 👀. Bonus points when thats how they'll see each other again cuz they got separated after middle school eheheheh.

Izuku excitedly rambles about his day as he opens his apartment doors. Today's patrol went really smoothly today, there were only a few villains running amok the district where he's assigned.

He didn't come home alone though as his companion, Bakugo Katsuki also known as Dynamight, is listening to him, he looked like he wanted to say something but just stops himself as Izuku happily talks about how he saved some kid's kitten from a tree.

As the greenette is about to start saying vows that both of them are going to be the best pro hero duo, Katsuki interrupts him gently.

"Izuku"

While said man is preparing some ingredients to start dinner, he stops his ramblings and looks at Kacchan, who moved beside him, looking at him with an odd expression.

"Yes Kacchan?"

"Izuku....it's been 8 years, I'm not going anywhere but please..you gotta start accepting it nerd."

Confused, Izuku asks "Accept what Kacchan?"

And with sad eyes, Katsuki finally says what he has been trying to tell him.

"I'm already dead Izuku..."

With that, Izuku's delusion shatters, what seems to be a spotless apartment reveals to be a depressing shit-hole with clothes everywhere and a lot of cup noodles strewn about. And what seems to be him chopping up ingredients is just him holding a microwavable package.

And Izuku himself just looks...horrible, a former shell of himself with heavy bags under his eyes and unkempt hair.

He starts to remember that day...during the war, when he had been too late, arriving just to see Kacchan dead on the battlefield laying motionlessly on the floor.

He saw red.

After the battle with AFO finally dead, Izuku didn't feel anything...

There was no feeling of victory...

For how could he win? His image of victory is gone, his polar star, his heart.

He couldn't imagine a world where Katsuki doesn't exist...

And so as years passed by, he lived in denial.

After a while, Katsuki started to appear beside him, granted he was only a vestige from OFA but still, Izuku treated him as the real Katsuki, nevermind that the vestige looks 17 while Izuku now has the body of a 20 year old.

His friends tried to help him but Izuku just pushed them away, he insists that "Kacchan is still alive! I can feel it!"

And he does feel it, as Katsuki continues to live on in OFA, in his heart.

Now back to the present.

Dropping the microwavable "food" Izuku starts to deny.

"What do you mean Kacchan? You're right in front of me! You can't be dead!, We swore to become number 1 right? Right?!"

Katsuki knelt down to reach Izuku, who started to breakdown in a kneeling position. Lightly touching his face and with a sad smile.

"I will always be with you 'Zuku. Don't you forget that, but please take care of yourself nerd..."

"I'm not going anywhere you hear me?"

The young looking vestige just accompanies Izuku silently as he sobs on the kitchen floor.

Aaaa i have a fic thought...

what if...fictional alternate universe accidentally traversing through (our) reality! bkdk

ok imma elaborate.

A fic where there's this genius scientist from our world who loves BNHA (and also a bkdk shipper). Said scientist was watching a special ONA of BNHA when suddenly a scene flashes where the villain that Kacchan and Izu are fighting suddenly teleports them in a weird looking portal then the episode suddenly ends, no closing song nor credits no nothing.

Weirded out, the scientist then briefly checks over the various community social medias of bnha to see if its not only them, turns out all of the people watching the ep witnessed the same thing.

Thats when the scientist hears a weird arguing noise outside their home which sounded like japanese...and also sounds like two certain RLLY famous voice actors.

The scientist's japanese isnt that great but they could make out a few phrases here and there...

"---you--not like this!--- Kacchan!!"

"Shut up!---could do this--where---shitty nerd!"

That's when the scientist had a sinking feeling in their gut and promptly went outside their home to check the noises out and thats when their fears are confirmed.

When they saw two who looked like bkdk "cosplayers-that-looked-so-real" arguing in the scientist's yard with the same voice as in the show.

aight so the scientist (after a long internal freakout which rlly, only lasted for a few mins cuz bro imagine seeing bkdk irl //i'd die too tbh) went and offered the two their place to stay.

They explained what kind of world the two are in and how they cant be spotted outside risking getting interrogated by the government and possibly getting experimented on.

Also to the scientist's relief, the two could understand and speak english just fine. (Just an HC of mine tbh cuz bro they went to Otheon in World Heroes Mission movie and could talk to Rody Soul just fine, I assume they know english 😭)

Also insert moments where the scientist is either the biggest third wheel or a subtle matchmaker for bkdk teehee.

The scientist tries their best to find a way for getting the two to return to their world cuz apparently there was a news leak that the studio animators are freaking out as they cant open their saved files or even the drafts for an unknown reason, risking cancellation of the show.

It would seem like the disappearance of the protagonist and deuteragonist (who's also love interest *wink wonk*) caused a "pause" in their own world which also affected the scientist's world too.

The longer time passed, the izu and kacchan would sometimes "glitch" or flicker as the show is nearing the confirmed "cancellation" news thingy.

End game: ofc bakudeku realizing their feelings for each other as they almost flicker to non-existence, but they do get to return to their own world thanks to the genius scientist. 😩

What if...a pro hero! au kinda crack-ish (but also serious??) fic where izuku is stuck in an endless timeloop from a quirk accident and he's always dying to kacchan no matter how much he avoids every possible cause just to escape it.

what's worse is that he always keeps his memories of the previous "incident".

He'll always die on the same day, always waking up again at the same date after literally dying.

Also what's worse is that kacchan doesn't even mean to kill him, it's always through an accident somehow.

ending: getting tired of trying to solve his dying dilemna, izuku just goes and confesses his feelings to kacchan out of the blue while dying and kacchan looking at him in panic as he tries to call for help.

And that is what actually ends the quirk's effect and izuku actually dies for real.💀

dystopian future au

in this au:

its a dystopian future where all humans slept in their underground hybernation pods while the robots reconstruct the planet that is slowly dying. Yet something had gone wrong for katsuki to suddenly wake up.

katsuki is the only one human who's awake.

deku is also the only android whose prime core goal is to find "kacchan". altho the bot is facing a malfunction where it cant seem to remember "why" its core goal is to find "kacchan".

Deku (his robo name is D-015 code name "Deku") is an android created by a scientist named Izuku.

Katsuki and the scientist Izuku are close friends, then turned boyfriends for a few years before they had to go into the pods and embark on the space journey.

katsuki wakes up from his hybernating pod thats supposed to schedule to activate when the bots successfully finished their "new world" construction but something had gone wrong. (he wakes up 100 years later after he went inside said pod.)

He spent awhile exploring the ruins looking for answers as to why and how he woke up. Then he finds android deku. He thought it was Izuku but was disappointed when he learns it's just an android. (also devastated)

The android acts quite like his Izuku too in terms of mannerisms, but with the robot speak.

"Primary Goal: Find "Kacchan" completed."

"Why the fuck are you looking for me?"

"Processing Inquiry: "why?" scanning memory database:..none...answer: "I don't know..."

"Well shit."

"..I'm sorry"

The only memory the bot seemed to have is Izuku' last video log message which is cut in half due to an unknown corruption.

/01/30/XX/

"Hello? Is this recording?...Ok..Hello this is Izuku Midoriya, one of the scientists tasked for the "New World" project, if you're seeing this then it means I'm long gone...Kacchan..I'm sorry for not telling you the truth, this bot will tell you everything there is to know with the tru-" *data corruption detected, cannot continue video playback.*

And now the human and android sought to solve answers for the cause of the apocalypse, and also the android's memory issue.

Endgame: After almost unlocking the mystery pertaining to the apocalypse and the android's memories, Deku's batteries cant run anymore and before he shuts down, he plays every single message logged in his memory database.

with it, the android also revealed how it lied and was the reason why kacchan's pod got activated, the reason for it was with an unknown cause (could be a sign of sentience from the A.I and shit)

anyway kacchan already grew attached to the bot and didnt want for it to die, so he tried his hardest to repair the batteries but it was all for naught.

katsuki is now alone on a dilapidated planet, All the other humans in a location unknown.

*aka...sad ending qvq*

anyway the plot is kinda inspired with the movie 'Passengers' but without the spaceship.
