Happy #Veterans #Day to all those that have graciously and #selflessly served past, present, and future! While we should be #grateful to our Veterans everyday, today is a special day designated to #honor them. Take the time to shake a Veterans hand, tell them 'Thank You' for their #service, give them a hug, and let them know that their sacrifices do not go unnoticed nor forgotten. Acknowledge our Veterans not only today, but every day. They have more than earned our gratitude. Let us not forget their sacrifices, many of them still carry the #heaviness around with them each and every day... ***Happy Veterans Day to my husband, Gered, an amazing individual who has always found a light in the darkest of times. Your strength, #determination, and #commitment to grow from your experiences, from your #loses, and from your time in service is #inspirational. You truly are my hero and I couldnt be more proud that our boys have you to look to for guidance. That's it - no more life like bear carving for us! Lol The family that we carved the bear for left us a note on our Black Hearts Chainsaw Art page letting us know how the initial introduction went between the bear and their 3yr old grandson - our carving made him cry! 'Wanted to let you know, our 3 year old grandson was scared of the bear! We gave him a small piece of wood that came from the tree and now he is ok with it, but we had tears and everything!' They love the bear by the way and it seems she's slowly growing on the little guy but talk about heart breaking news that we scared the poor Lil guy to tears. We felt like such jerks when we found out he was so scared of our bear but on the positive note - he's a smart little guy and knows not to go running up to any black bears he may come across in the woods! Lol Kids are the freaking best!
