no evil angel but love by bumblebugswrites. This book has consumed my whole being since it started a couple months ago. I can’t wait for the summer updates.

wait for it by the7thherione. This really carried my Treech obsession.

the ballad of a starfish by seeingthestars. This book messed me up a little bit. It’s the games from Mizzens perspective.

O children by disk4rte. I swear I am not being a kiss ass right now. This is just the book that got me to FINALLY read books with oc’s.

artist! treech lives in my head rent free. he loves going around Seven after his shifts at the lumber yard to find some new spots to sketch

adding on to this, he has a decent sense of orientation but still gets lost from time to time anyway (especially when it gets dark)

he's been saving up for colored pens for ages, but they're very expensive and hard to get your hands on

i hc him to be more on the introverted side tbh

but he loves his family!! i hc him with a couple of siblings, but his sisters are his (not-so-secret) favorites

he's also a mama's boy, but i think that's a pretty universal headcanon

he often does wood carvings with her and they're pretty good!! he prefers making the sketches for her though

he's good with kids! for some reason, they always fall asleep on him though

i feel like a lot of people had crushes on him growing up, but he either never noticed or he wasn't interested

his father taught him how to juggle. after the war, when they didn't have a lot of money, it's one of the ways he'd bring home some extra food or money

adding on to the above, he's definitely sneaky and has "accidentally" stolen a few things from Seven's richer ppl before

i think that if he liked someone, he'd def pick flowers from the side of the road for them (maybe his sisters even taught him how to make flower crowns)

This is something I think about almost everyday. I incorporate it into my writing if I ever get to a scene like this. It was my first thought when I saw the film for the first time. I always think about how it looked like Marcus was being crucified. I could go on a whole rant about this. It really shows how awful the capitol is. In the Bible Jesus was innocent but he was still hung on the cross. Jesus simply got hung up because they didn’t like him, and the capitol doesn’t like the tributes. The symbolism of Marcus being Jesus, because he is still a child, and relatively innocent. And the capitol being the people of Judea (or the Roman’s I can’t remember). I could EASILY go more into it. But this sums it up.

So is no one gonna talk about how Marcus was hung up like Jesus in TBOSAS or...?

this felt way too personal

Being a girl is: wanting to go to bed early but deciding to just get on tumblr/wattpad/Ao3 for a little bit and then end up finding a fic series that you really like and read until well past your usual bedtime then keeping on because it’s already past your bedtime. Then being mad when you wake up in the morning because you overslept your timer.

Funny lil story

I have a cousin who is obsessed with Sn*w (eww) and she knows that I am obsessed with Treech. Since we live hours away we made matching bracelets. Mine is brown and says “Treech for life” and hers is blue and says “snow for life”. So if you ever see a girl with a brown bracelet that says Treech for life then it’s me. I go out in public wearing it. I feel no shame or embarassment. But only because no one knows what it means. Am I weird for that? I don’t actually wear often. It’s just a little comfort bracelet :)
