Blackthorn College was opened in 1991 by Augustus Blackthorn; the head of a group of scientists seeking to advance evolution. To test their formula on humans, they created a school on an island in the Pacific as a front for their experiment. Students get the education promised in their invitation and so much more.This is a gay smut roleplay set in a university of gifted staff and students. I'm not entirely sure what you mean. All characters must be at least 18 in order to attend Blackthorn and any staff up to the age of 40 can have been there since their freshman year. Characters over the age of 40 would be allowed but they would have to have been invited there as an adult rather than a student.

Pyrokinesis. When Elliot’s power first first made itself clear, the most fire Elliot could muster was a small fireball that was just enough to keep him warm. After being on the for three years, he has had time to practice. He can now produce fire not only from his hands but his feet. Though he still can’t manipulate a huge amount of fire with his feet, his skills with his hands are becoming more developed each day..
Biography:
Elliot grew up in Prior Lake, Minnesota with two very strict Christian parents. He grew up being taken to church every Sunday and saying grace before every meal. He didn’t believe in God personally, though he never had the courage to tell his parents that. He attended a small church school on the edge of his city. He grew up questioning everything the teachers taught him. Why were gays an abomination? Why is it sinful to have sex before marriage? Nothing he was taught made sense to him even at a young age. His teachers would often complain and say that he was a bad Christian for question what God told him and would often tell his parents that he was disruptive and offensive. But when he was around his parents, Elliot would pretend that he understood everything and had no problem with any of it, making his parents think he was a perfect Christian son.
When it was time for Elliot to go to High School, he was sent to an all boy Christian boarding school, which offered the exact opportunities his parents wanted him to have. He enjoyed his school. The teachers were nice and the students were welcoming and friendly. Elliot soon began to make friends and had a pretty nice life at Brigstone Christian School; until his final year. In June, two weeks before the school year ended, Elliot was found having sex with his best friend, Sam, in the Janitor’s cupboard. When his parents found out, which of course they did, they were furious. At the end of the school year, Elliot came home to find his mother and father waiting in the living room. The handed him a leaflet and told him that this was where he would be going to college. And that, is how Elliot Newman arrived at Blackthorn College..

You guys have a bit of a problem with people only rping with the same people. I want to apply and have been lurking like crazy, but it doesn't seem so open to new people.
We love new people! I certainly try to get involved with new members just as much as existing ones but between admin stuff and the replies I owe, sometimes a couple slip through the net but don't be afraid to ask me if we can start something. :) I'm sure the other members will be just as willing to include you too and so far everyone's starters seem to get quite a few responses so they're a great way to interact with more people.

Second Choices
This is aimed at nobody in particular but I've noticed it on quite a few applications during the time we've been open.
You need to state your second choice for an ability and face, even if they're open.
You will probably get your first choice. If I get two applications for the same face/ability at the same time then whichever I feel is best written will get it. Having a second choice means that I can still accept you then instead of the added time of telling you to pick a different face/ability, waiting for you to send that to me and then waiting for me to get round to accepting you.
The only exception to this is if you've made a reservation for that face or ability. If you have done so then you don't need to worry about competitor applications. Additionally, you don't need to provide a description for your second choice ability until it is requested but you can do so if you wish.
Premade characters don't count as reservations (unless you've reserved that character, of course). Just because a face or ability is mentioned in the profile doesn't mean you're guaranteed to get it. They're just templates.
The other instance is if your first choice isn't appropriate and having an alternative again saves time makes other arrangements.
In future, I will be rejecting applications that do not include a second choice. It is part of the application and I expect it to be filled out. Would you miss out their name or their biography? No.
