"dark sun" series announcement

hey guys!! i'm so sorry for being MIA these past few weeks.

unfortunately, i am going to have to put the "dark sun" series on hold for the foreseeable future. life has been a little all over the place the past few weeks (managed to meet courtney laplante during that time lmao). this week and next week are finals so i have to focus on those and then right after i have to start the moving process so i'll be too preoccupied to update the story.

i know where the story is going to go and i hope to have the next chapter out by the end of june/first week of july when everything should be settled down. i apologize for this since i know some people were very excited for it and i was/am as well, i just need to focus on my "real life" responsibilities.

hopefully in the meantime i'll work on some smaller works when i can! thank you all for the support and patience, i appreciate every single one of you so so much <33

i had an extremely large collection of littlest pet shop toys that i accumulated over like 5 years (i occasionally buy the new ones whenever i see them in store lol)

definitely. to answer what the wishes would be, then probably a lot of money, health, and spending a day w/ a band (bad omens or ptv)

i actually have a decent amount of tattoos throughout my whole body. most meaningful are my mom's signature on my inner upper left arm and my parents' birth year above my elbow crease on my right arm. favorite design is my sacred heart tattoo on my sternum. i definitely plan on getting more, i've been thinking of a biblically accurate angel on the back of my neck just cuz it looks cool (sorry i can go on and on about tattoos lol).

here's a little snippet for a future chapter of dark sun (with as little of spoilers as possible lmao)

I was woken up again to my phone buzzing on the mattress where I had left it, the gnawing feeling immediately returned when I fully gained consciousness. A part of me was hoping it’d be Noah, but I flipped my phone over to see it was Nick calling. I noticed it was 10:36am, and as much as I didn’t want to talk to anybody right now, I knew hearing Nicks’ voice would help soothe me at least a little bit. I answered his call, “Hello?” I croaked out, my voice laced with sleep and rawness from crying yesterday. “Hey Y/N! Are you doing alright?” His usual greeting immediately turned worrisome as he heard my tone. “Y-yeah, I just woke up, sorry.” I unsuccessfully tried regulating my voice as much as I could.  “Y/N.. I know what you sound like when you wake up. This isn’t it.” He stated. I knew he was right, and there was no point in avoiding the topic. It was going to come up eventually. “I.. uh.. I.. Nick, can you please come over?” I whispered into the receiver, my voice cracking at the end. I didn’t want to say the words over the phone, especially not after Noah’s reaction (or lack thereof) last night. I couldn’t handle this on my own.  “Yeah, do you need me to bring anything?” I heard him grabbing his keys, immediately on his way. “N-no. I just.. I need someone.” My throat was burning from a sob threatening to escape, even though my body just couldn’t produce any more tears now. “Okay, I’ll be right over.” But before he hung up, I heard Folio through the receiver. “I’m coming too!” He yelled loud enough for me to hear. I didn’t bother accepting or denying his statement, I just hung up the phone and dry heaved in my bed until they arrived.

Excerpt from Beneath the Hollowed Ground

I remember when Heather and her mom moved to the trailer park. We were all around ten, Chris and I were weeding his brother’s small garden when an old rusty truck broke our peaceful silence with the crunching of gravel. The truck stopped not far from my own trailer and Heather and her Mom slid out of the back seats. Heather looked a lot different then, though I did too. Her red hair was still in curls and she wore this long flowery dress that reached just above her ankles. An older man I wasn’t too familiar with helped them carry a few boxes into a trailer that had been left empty for a few years, but once the boxes inside, the older man sped out of there like he was being chased by a werewolf or a shifter. It took two weeks before Heather introduced herself to us.
