the fact mariposa danced with carlos instead of catania still pisses me of TIL THIS DAY. it would’ve made so much for mariposa and catania to dance instead, even when you ignore the shipping aspect. like if u see it in a narrative standpoint, it would just make sense and it would tie it all together perfectly. at a previous scene, mariposa danced with catania when catania didn’t have the ability to fly. wouldn’t it have been poetic as hell to have them dance again when catania finally was able to fly too???

dude i’m literally going insane . catania spends so long, literally most of her life, terrified to even attempt to fly again after the incident at the falls and then she finally does only because mariposa is in danger and she reacts instinctively to try and help . i couldn’t make this shit up if i tried
