‘ I got it—‘ Kurt’s hand reached for the razor, but you smacked his hand away. He dropped it back on your thigh and sighed in defeat. ‘ Stop and let me do this..’ you mumbled, fingers holding his jaw. Now Kurt didn’t shave very often, but he wanted to look good for his new job. You really didn’t mind it, he was pretty hairy everywhere else.

‘ And I want—‘ he tried and you immediately cut him off, ‘ yes i know what you want. I heard you the first five times dear..’ fingers deftly wiping the razor on the towel sitting near your thigh. ‘ So whats the job about?’ You hummed, legs wrapped around his standing form between your legs.

‘ It’s like some security firm I guess? I’m not too sure until I get there for the interview.. I got a tour but nothing yet.’ He was on edge, Kurt hadn’t had a job in ages. You had been the one working since getting married, but recently quit due to sickness. ‘ I’m sure you’ll get it, just don’t do the weird stare thing you do. Might kill your chances.’ You giggled

He huffed, ‘ I do not—‘ you wiped the remainder of the shaving cream off. ‘ yes you do’ mumbling, and patting on the aftershave. It wasn’t clean and to the skin but it was what he asked for, frankly sexier than him being barefaced. ‘ Well.. I won’t okay?’ He grumbled, hands finding your hips.

‘ I can’t afford to screw up.. not with how the world is going..’ His eyes met yours, a turmoil of emotions swirling in them. Fear, anxiety, anticipation, doubt. ‘ The world is not ending baby.. the economy might be shit but I assure you.. it’s just your nerves talking’ kissing the bridge of his nose.

‘ So you’re gonna ace this interview tomorrow, and I’m gonna make your favorite for dinner..’ Putting Vaseline on the parts where he nicked himself earlier. ‘ And later im gonna fix your hair a little..’ he huffed ‘ No there’s nothing wrong with my hair!’ His hands went up to run through it.

‘ Well you have been in a mood the past week.. and you’ve had episodes a few times in the last few days.. nothing major, just let me wash it okay?’ You reassured him, not going to change anything more. Rubbing your hands up and down his arms, feeling the muscle. ‘ Okay..’ he murmured.

Kurt sighed, pushing his face into your neck. Wrapping his arms around you and melting into your embrace, absorbing your warmth. ‘ Thank you.. for taking care of me. And well basically everything else you do. Putting up with my shit n stuff. I love you..’

You smiled, hugging him closer. Kissing his temple. ‘ Don’t thank me, In sickness and in health right? And I love you more.’

how would teen dad! scott barringer x reader react if there was fireworks going off late at night waking up little baby leo ?? ( yess this is indeed inspired by my neighbors fuckass fireworks scaring my dog at like 12 am)

THE MONSTERS GONE AND YOUR DADDYS HERE

He'd be so mad because Leo doesn't go to sleep easy. He doesn't like taking naps. That baby loves staying up all day and night.

After hours of trying to put Leo to sleep, the baby finally gave in. Scott was relieved. He was all alone with Leo at his house. You had business to do for a couple of days, and you couldn't take Leo, so here he is with his dad.

Leo was asleep from 11 to 2. He woke up crying from the aggressively loud fireworks that sounded like bombs. Scott woke up to crying, and he swore he could cry himself. He was so frustrated. Scott went to the window and saw that it was the neighbors. He groans and picks the baby up. “Shh, it's okay, baby.” He mumbles and gently bounces the baby in his arms.

Leo kept crying, but he was now a little calmer after being picked up. “You're okay. Daddy's got you.” He looks at Leo and kisses his head. The baby was now only whimpering and letting out other small noises. “See, you're okay,” Scott says softly and flinches at another loud boom. Luckily, Leo didn't cry again.

Scott takes the baby with him to his bed. “Daddy's here, go to sleep.” Scott then ran his hand up and down Leo's small back and head until they both fell asleep.
