Hi hello!

Sadly, no, it was not. I don’t do april fools but I am very real migraine prone and when a bad one strikes It’s almost always so debilitating that i’m unable to do anything at all. Moving, seeing light, even thinking is excruciating pain. They can last from a few hours to a couple of days, making doing art or posting anything pretty much impossible

It just sucks that it fell on national ‘haha, gotcha!!’ day , but I guess on the bright side of that, it serves as a PSA that I don’t participate in April Fools any year

Anyway anyway, the soli patreon updates generally on the first week of the month, so this month’s posts are still going up! 🐀🎉 it’s just that migraines are very annoying for cutting into my planned schedule for both patreon posting and art production.

Hi there!! I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for creating Solivaga! It is now my favorite webcomic/graphic novel by far. The characters and story are unbelievably amazing, and I really can't wait to see what the future holds for this comic. Long story short: I got into Solivaga by finding an art piece you had done of Elias. I was blown away by the level of detail, and just how cool and stunning this character looked. Every since then I've now been reading a chapter a night, and so hyped for chapter 3!!

You all really outdid yourselves, and the writing is really inspiring to me! A young writer who hopes to one day join in on projects like this one! Again, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing it with us. It's really put a smile on my face, and helped me find an aesthetic I really love.

Oh! And I dunno if anyone has said this, but while reading I really do get the Bloodborne/From software feel from it. The dark fantasy/horror aspect of the blight has pulled me in even more!! It's so so good, and I love Solivaga so much!!^^

Okay, here we are, I'm finally able to get to this before I'm at the end of my day and too tired to reply coherently But oh my gosh, thank you so very much! This is one of the kindest notes I've ever received and reading it filled me with so much joy the day you sent it, and continued to fill me with so much joy even the days after. Kindness like yours is always welcome and fuels the fire of inspiration tenfold. Hearing that it helped you find an aesthetic you love is of utmost honor and I couldn't be happier... also, the Bloodborne/Fromsoft comment especially. I love both very much, and the art direction in Bloodborne is so awe-inspiring that I'm often left staring at it in wonderment for how it was even crafted. Thank you again, and thank you so much for being patient with my slow replies as of late. There's more Soli coming soon, as working on the finale of chapter 3 has been a major reason for my slow replies lol (why, chapter 3, are you so LONG? Maybe it should have been broken up into a two-parter in retrospect...) Hoping you have a lovely day, and I'll be working hard so those updates will not only be back ASAP, but I'll be back here answering character/lore fun reliably (and, you know, those occasional drawing answers to asks lol) <3

Just a quick update because holy hell I got stuff I need to reply to, but I've been hyper busy!! Still alive/still here, just getting a ton of stuff done, so wanted to let you all know that! alllmost back at the buffer cap I need to resume updates (I've technically got enough to resume, but with how often my health issues like to knock me out, let's get just a little bit more lol) I've not yet had time to start the new tarot illustration just yet, but I've got a couple of quick extras for you all at least... so!! good times!? I also got one of the nicest messages ever received sitting in my inbox here and I'm both so grateful for getting it and so apologetic to the sender that I've not had a chance to reply yet, I wanted to be able to give it a real reply when I'm not half asleep at the end of a work day... so I'm hoping you see this and know I'm not only floored, but will reply to it soon! almost caught back up to where I need to be, so we can all have a party waiting for us <3

It is so unbelievably frustrating how the algorithm timeline keeps defaulting in a place that has been free of algo bullshit for so long. I cannot tell if it’s a glitch or if they’re just pushing it intentionally. It’s at least easy to go back to the following feed, but with bluesky users more and more depending on the discover feed and tumblr defaulting to the algorithm timeline it just feels like ‘be twitter’ is the shitty destiny being pushed everywhere.
