Tell me to talk when I'm quiet tell me to shut it when I'm not tell me to go when I'm around ask me why I'm not there when I'm gone tell me to be around be allowed be enough be a shoulder to lean on for the less fortunate to heave on shed no tears for the years  I let my self loose, let my self be gone from my family from the ones I love tell me to keep my chin up my head down when all I do is stare up at the stars waiting for tommorow like ain't got today hoping everything will be okay wishing for everything to change praying for alot doin not even half of what I want watching the clock tick away wishing I could just get out of my brain take a lil vacation just a little break cause all I know is it ain't gonna be okay I don't mean to be pesemistic but that's just how I am expecting the worst so when I get something good Ill be surprised and offer up the prize  just to live another day see the light at the end of the tunnel but ignore the light posts on the way sit down in class give my life up for laughs and tell everybody to get out of my way because in the end maybe it may get better someday but somehow I always find a way to be bitter cause that's just how I cope with all the smoke blurring my vision tell me I'll learn my lesson when this is all done tell me it was all just fun and games tell me it will all be okay but we both know it ain't because that's just the way to the world, right stab me in the back cover my face with this hat go to sleep just to do it a again spread all this hate like you making pb&j, I just don't think any of it's okay because after all, we are all just kids, kids who come from kids who grew up too quick and just like them soon enough we will have kids who are the kids of kids who grew up too quick

Let’s Talk about Writer’s Envy

Please Note: This is probably going to sound super petty. I just need to get this off my chest. Hopefully this might help someone else who’s in a similar state of mind.

I wanted to start off 2021 by addressing something that’s been on my mind for some time now. 

If you’re a writer, I’m guessing you’ve probably experienced it too. You’ve published a fic (chapter, one-shot, drabble, etc) after maybe weeks or months of research, outlining, drafting only to get 20 notes max with one comment. Then a writer who (you think) has been writing for five minutes get 400+ notes and they’re (again, you think) barely trying. 

I’ve been there (more times than I want to admit) and it sucks. 

But here’s the thing, you don’t know what going on off-screen.
