I used to be a huge skeptic of the girls that hang out with their boyfriend/girlfriend more than their friends, I thought that this was completely ridiculous. When I thought this I was single and most of my friends had boyfriends so I was essentially the oddball of the group who just wanted to hang with my friends and i couldn’t understand the concept of wanting to be with a boyfriend more than a friend. Not until recently did I understand, and I got a very sweet boyfriend whom I want to spend all my time with, not just because he is my boyfriend, but because he is now my new bestfriend. In my case it was really easy to adopt him as my new best friend because my friends do not put effort or time into hanging out or even really talking to me so of course when I had nothing to do (which was everyday) I would turn to my boyfriend because he obviously wanted to spend time with me and was genuinely interested in me. Moral of the story, your boyfriend/girlfriend should be your best friend and there is no shame in spending a lot of time with them

For the first time, no one was there to help me. It was strangely liberating.

HOW I KNEW YOU LOVED ME: It’s in the way you looked at me, like I was the brightest star on the darkest night, leading you back home when nowhere else felt right. I’ve been told it’s unhealthy to become dependent on somebody, but some days it felt as if your eyes were the only thing keeping me alive. Nobody’s ever looked at me like that before. Nobody has since. I felt it like you can feel the warmth of the sun. When you held me in your arms as everything fell apart, I felt love seeping through the layers of skin and bone between us. And although I couldn’t see it, I’m sure that it was there; Love. As simple as that.

your weight doesn’t matter if you’re healthy
your appearance doesn’t matter if you’re happy with it
other people’s opinions don’t matter if you love yourself
your grades don’t matter if you tried your best
your speed doesn’t matter if you just started
your worries don’t matter if you see the bigger picture
how good other people are doing doesn’t matter if you’re working hard
criticism doesn’t matter if it isn’t constructive
being different from the norm doesn’t matter if you’re happy like that
being bad at something doesn’t matter if you keep practicing

I never believed in love at first sight but for some reason, I felt something different when we first met. The more I got to know you, the more my feelings intensified. And when you smiled, I knew that I was in trouble.
I just hope that you’ll let me fall in your arms (via illuminatewords)

I know
“I know that I can find somebody, you won’t ever find nobody else like me” - who is fancy
We all have had this terrifying moment when you know that your ex-love is making a huge mistake by leaving you, who loves them as much as humanly possible. Of course, they won’t see that they are making a mistake until later on in life and by that time so much time has passed and both of you are completely different people from when you were in love.
