You can use this story as a relationship to life - our lives are framed by the kind of ecological variables we place ourselves in, the people that we license to affect us, and the destinations we give ourselves. These Are Key Ingredients If we simply dream and make no move, by then we get no further. In any case, if we plan, set a goal and make a move then our life takes a substitute shape. Two grains were lying side by side on the fertile soil
The first grain said: “I want to grow up! I want to put down roots deep into the ground and sprout from the ground. I dream to blossom in delicate buds and proclaim the coming of spring. I want to feel the warm rays of sun and the dew drops on my petals!”.
This grain grew up and became a beautiful flower.
The second grain said: “I’m afraid. If I put down my roots into the ground, I don’t know what they will face there. If I grow tender stems, they can be damaged by wind. If I grow flowers, they may be disrupted. So I’d rather wait for the safer time.
Thus the second grain was waiting, until the chicken that passed by did not peck it.

Choosing a b-school is a tough task. As an aspirant, you have to keep many parameters in check while filling up the forms of different colleges, like cut-off, Faculty to Student ratio, Specialization, Placements, Reputation, Location, percentile range, and many more. Hence giving mock tests before the actual test becomes very crucial, as these mock tests help you determine your expected percentile range.
These categories have been made keeping in mind that CAT is like a one-day cricket game. If you came under pressure you might under-perform, if you kept your calm you may sail through and get your expected or sometimes more than expected percentile. So the motto here is to get maximum GDPI calls from your shortlisted colleges to increase your conversion rate.
Research well about different exams, because many tests cater to a similar pool of college and if by chance you messed up your CAT you can still get into a good b-school through different tests like XAT, SNAP, NMAT, etc.

Every year over 2 lakh aspirants register for CAT and this is an ever-increasing number. CAT is the most sought after test since the score is useful in getting admission into the top colleges of India. Few tests are also specifically organized by the college itself for its individual admission process.
Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak across the globe, many companies have either halted their hiring procedures or are laying off people which means that this year's Cat 2020 exam will see a huge jump in terms of the number of aspirants registering.
From 2009 onwards, we can observe the downward trend in the number of test-takers. Thus, I firmly believe we will be able to observe this pattern again, in CAT 2020.

CAT consists of 3 sections, namely, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Quantitative Ability (QA), and Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation(LRDI). To get into your desired college, you first need to analyze the past trends in both overall and sectional cut-offs.
