I don’t know who needs to hear this, but listen, kid - the bahaviours and traits you have adapted from living in an abusive/manipulative household do not define you. You were, or are, trying to survive, and being subjected to toxic behavior for long amounts of time at such close proximity can make you feel disconnected to who you really are. This is not who you are, and it’s not what you deserve.

Things are going to get better, and I hope everyone who has had trauma at the expense of living has a bright and happy future, we all deserve much more
