so like it's been a while... so here is a Grian in these trying times

I really like this one I've been trying to decide how I wanted to draw Grian's watcher traits and I've kinda settled on this one! how ever i don't think that this is like his full watcher form ya know?

also newish style I've been trying to loosen it up a bit and i like the results

i'm making this post because the fact that people don't believe there's harassment happening is wild. it's been happening since the usmp was announced. it got worse when the racism issue on the qsmp happened, which i felt very strongly about speaking out on, and has honestly not stopped. so i want to give a breakdown of what's happened and what i've seen.

i had to leave for a few days to avoid the harassment. people threatened me with acts of violence, threatened my kids and my pets, people were spamming qrts with images of self-harm hidden in fancams. they called me slurs or demanded to see my tribal enrollment. even someone here on tumblr said they believed people were probably faking being indigenous. there was a ton of 'oh so now dream stans care about racism'. because they see us as dream 'stans' first and foremost. this has been a long running issue for poc in the fandom.

people have been doxxed and at least one person got the police involved because someone showed up to their house. this was one of the admins of the usmp update account, an account that was hacked and whose admins have been endlessly harassed and threatened.

i have never seen this level of harassment before and this fandom once drove me to be hospitalized.

it's bad. and it's real. the fact that people are saying things like it's fake or 'dream stans always have to be the victim' is just awful. people on here have made jokes about the very real threats of violence, doxxing, and rape threats that are being directed not just at dream and his family, including his minor sister, but his fans as well. people are being harassed and threatened with the most vile shit. there are legitimate threats. people are scared. it isn't okay.

there's no doubt that people on both sides have been cruel. none of that is okay. i've seen stuff that i absolutely do not approve of. it's never okay to harass people. point blank. there's no 'but' to that.

right now, the fact is that people are being harassed and badly. whatever you may feel about dream and his fans, these things are real and unacceptable.

-Watch my art style change wildly during the course of the video. Consistency? Don't know her.

-Fun fact: I started this two years ago, right after the stream when c!Tommy died in prison. It's honestly a miracle I even finished this at all tbh, let alone in time for June.

-On c!Techno's crown: It's Chat. The eight white lines/needles that float around his head represent Chat, that's why they try to interact with other characters (like c!Philza and c!Ranboo) and why they become long and sharp sometimes (blood for the blood god). Idk I thought it'd be fun and also it looks a little like a halo which I thought was fitting.

-Also I don't know what possessed me to use tones for this instead of shading normally but it did and now we all have to deal with it.

-Why is c!Ranboo so fun to draw. He's so shaped. I love it.

-Somewhat unrelated but I love how I drew my avatar at the end there lol

I decided that I wanted to post my headcanon designs for the hermits I'm most likely gonna post two at a time. Starting off is the siblings!

Grian is very easy, I love wings on characters and I thought why not take advantage of watcher lore to give him many, he likely has another form with more wings and eyes but I'll probably make a design for that later. he has a single eye on his back kinda between his wings, he can see out of it so sneaking up on him can be hard. the eye can occasionally be closed this is usually because he's tired or super duper focused on something else. the two necklaces are from Scar and Mumbo bc why not, he also would have bracelets from other hermits hidden away under his sleeves. he wouldn't admit it but he can have a fondness for sentimental items (that or bc is shiny who knows). His hands are tough and dark, almost black and he has some good talons on him so it can be easy to cut stuff up at times.

AS FOR PEARL, I always saw Pearl as a bit of a changeling type of character(it also doesn't help that I'm terrified of moths and butterflies so I can't do what I see others do a lot of the time) this is what she looks like at a base level but she does change her appearance a lot, she often changes herself to looks like shes related to grain a lot something like this!

But I could see her matching the other hermits' races sometimes as a bit.

I like to think of Grian, Pearl, Jimmy, and Tommy as siblings and it's chaos.

what if every SMP coexists in the same world and you can only have access to them by using a portal? Karmaland, Dream SMP, hermitcraft, etc. Only a few people know about those portals and have access to them, That could be a reason for one of the characters from an SMP appearing in another SMP. I had a theory that maybe they are extremely far away from each other but sadly It didn't make sense
