Care to share your headcanons about Regulus?

I never actually thought that much about Regulus? Some characters have very canon information yet we to the ends of the world to know more about them, but that was never the case with Regulus Black for me. But I’m also the youngest of two, so I sympathise with him.

I think he liked small spaces, was jealous of Sirius for getting into Gryffindor but relieved he got into Slytherin, and probably had a weird and very niche secret muggle obsession (like electricity, the postal system, trams, plastic, I don’t know) that only the house elf knew about.

I also think he would have survived both wars just by being completely unnoticeable, had he not gone and died without anyone noticing.

A couple of months ago I did a short course on illustrated book covers and I never got to share what I made because I was very unhappy with it and it felt rushed and unfinished (I was having a bit of a chaotic week applying for masters and feel like I gave the course the dedication I wanted to).

But I worked with Frankenstein and thought I'd face my fears and finally share it.

I think they were half on board with it until they saw Sexy Potion Master and thought I was somewhat taking the piss, but I genuinely thought there would be an audience for it.

What must have been nearly 10 years ago, I pitched this series for Sparklife but it was rejected (a couple of weeks later my contract was terminated, but it's not enough evidence that these two events were related). My computer broke down and I thought I lost it forever.

The first draft I sent in was James, and they were happy with the idea, but they were way less enthusiastic about the rest. I was still planning to do other male characters, but after they ditched the pitch, there was no point.

I found it yesterday in my old hard drive. This is the first half of the series of Marauders Era Characters as Male Pin-Ups that got me fired.

Hey, I haven’t moved anywhere, I just no longer make Harry Potter fanart. It doesn’t hit the same anymore. I do miss it and I’m grateful for a lot of things the fandom brought me, but engaging with JKR’s works leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Now I just sort of don’t have any kind of relevant online presence. And I left so many unfinished projects here!
