(Day 02)
18.08.23, Friday
Pomodoro Technique- everyone who is even mildly interested in academics are aware of this world renowned method of studying.
Simply put, Pomodoro method allows us to break our study or work materials into chunks of 30 or 40 minutes of hyper focused work and 5 to 10 min of break to allow you to relax your nerves. This method has proven to be highly effective among students and office workers to maintain a consistent level of productivity.
I managed to study a sad number of 3 hours (could have done better) in a hyper focused zone using this method. Here's what I studied-
Hour 1 - (Physics)- Waves book reading and notes
Hour 2 and 3- (Pure Maths 3)- Functions qs
Honestly not satisfied with the day's work....so much more to improve. Though this was a good first step.

Time For Academic Revenge (and Redemption)
(Day01) 17th August, 2023
First of all, I put forward my utmost condolences for anyone who appeared for their AS or A2 in this June 2023 Session. We can all agree on the fact that Edexcel and Cambridge lost all their shit this year while making the grade boundaries. If you are like me, one of the victims of this gruesome academic murder in the hands of Edexcel, Welcome as you have reached just the right place! Here, I plan to keep track of all my studies and make an academic comeback for January 2024 session. I hope that my blog helps other students alike who are struggling with their retakes to feel motivated to trudge forward.
My Backstory!
Being an INTP-T, academic validation was all I ever needed to feel my worth. I always had put my self worth on the grades of my report card or on the words of my teachers. I planned to major in Physics from an renowned Uni (Preferably abroad) as it had always been my main passion. I always dreamed of studying physics in Universities like UBC, UoT, Oxford.......(ahhhh dreams)
In my IGCSE's (O Level's) I got multiple academic awards for my 7A* and 1A result. This inflated my academic ego by tenfolds. But my results of AS is such a let down after all my achievements back in my IGCSEs.
I sat for 3 subjects in this June session- Maths, Physics and Chemistry. And got the following grades respectively - B, C, B. Some of you might think- 'oh, she's bluffing. It's not that bad.'. Believe me, its when you are from an asian household like me.
Nevertheless, now I'm on the mission to make my overall grades all A's in this upcoming January session.
Hope you guys stick with me to see my progress!
