See, I just don't agree with this take on their relationship at all.

I think that, while Deku has definitely understood the relationships Bakugou has managed to make and how they're important to him as a person, he's never thought to give up on what him and Bakugou had. He's always been trying to get something back, which is why he's stuck by his side. He's never thought of leaving him, and he doesn't plan to.

Bakugou is too important to him, he means too many different things. I just don't think they'll ever truly separate, and they're only going to get closer from here on out.

This pretty much reminds me of the death threats Voltron creators received. It's not that we truly believe our ship *will* be canon (although, it'd be great), but more likely the fact that we want people to validate or understand why we'd ship certain people. Knowing BNHA is shounen is a relief that even tho ships probably won't become canon, it feeds the fandom with ambiguity, leaving us to still ship whoever we want without being completely disappointed with the outcomes.

Lmao, I just saw someone say that Horikoshi was queerbaiting with KRBK and go on a whole rant about it, and I’m literally so tired.

Let’s be very clear about this. Horikoshi has never confirmed a pairing. Ever. Most of the “cute” interactions that keep the ship (and other ships) alive probably don’t even come from him. He doesn’t put out content just by himself. There are dozens of other people in the studio that he works with. Him making the executive decisions doesn’t mean he’s immune to being influenced by what the people around him say, think, or do.

In canon, Kirishima and Bakugou are just friends. They always have been. Kirishima has built a relationship with Bakugou as an “equal” throughout the series. Bakugou respects him and calls him by name, and despite his difficulty displaying any emotion that isn’t indifference or anger, he really does care about Kirishima. Additionally, in the My Hero Academia Smash!! comics, it’s kind of a running joke that Kirishima has a crush on Bakugou, and while the comics aren’t technically canon, they do still have to be approved by Horikoshi before being published. It’s cute, I guess, but I ship KRBK purely as a QPR. 

Anyway. Anything beyond this though, is fan interpretation and headcanons. You do not get to be angry with a creator just because they didn’t make your ship canon or give you more shipping material. 

BNHA is a shounen manga. Most relationships are not gone into that deeply and won’t be. What you toxic, hardline, and questionably sane KRBK shippers don’t understand is that almost everyone else realistically knows that their ship is not going to be actual canon. They’re not expecting it to happen within the storyline. All the “so now that BKDK is canon…” jokes are just that. They’re jokes. Because Bakugou and Deku’s relationship is constantly progressing. They’re constantly improving. They’re constantly getting better. And it’s beautiful.

Stop getting mad at Horikoshi because KRBK hasn’t been getting enough scenes lately. You’re annoying, and this is why the majority of the fandom literally hates y’all.
