So Ive been thinking on Black and White and its sequel and what I would do to improve its biggest problem: how N is written. I personally believe that N would be much better suited as the main villain instead of Ghetsis, but I wouldnt include Team Plasma. Instead, my rewrite would involve him travelling alone across Unova to look after people's Pokemon that are either sick or too badly behaved to be with their trainers. This includes Pokemon that the main heroes, Rosa, Bianca and Hugh are close to. Such as Hugh's little sister's Purrloin to even Rosa's Snivy. However, unbeknownst to everyone, N has been sending them to his cottage deep in Pinwheel Forest and he uses that golden cube on his belt to harvest all the Pokemons' memories of their trainer, leaving them blank and empty. N intends to 'cleanse and liberate' all Pokemon from humans and sees himself as their 'shepherd', but what he actually wants is to have Pokemon all to himself and will rob everyone of their friendship with thier Pokemon. At any cost.

Considering this is a man who's grew up with only Pokemon as company and has no idea how to actually interact with people, I like the idea that N has grown into a misanthropic manchild who says he knows whats best for all Pokemon, but its all an excuse to run a cult full of brainwashed Pokemon

Its funny cos I dont even like N or Black and White as a story in Pokemon, but I think it has a lot of good ideas for a story that Game Freak didnt capitalise on. Anyway, I like this rewrite of N and yes, I will be doing drawings on the heroes Rosa, Bianca and Hugh and what I would rewrite for them

That Creep is nowhere NEAR Nemona's gut punch of a story.

She was a girl who became one of the most powerful trainers in all of her region, was born to a somewhat wealthy family, and was beloved by her school.

But... Because of the power, it drove people away from her... Everytime she wanted to battle someone, they'd refuse, and say they were "Nowhere on her level".

She was an Autism coded, (not saying she has autism, but she shares a lot of symptoms of autism), battle hyperfixated gal who just wanted someone on her level so she could improve herself.

She was alone. Possibly scared, and confused. But then, one faithful day... You, the player arrive in Paldea.

You're someone who has the potential to be that very person that Nemona needs in her life. She encourages you, guides you, and pushes you to grow stronger.

I love her for that. She's just a lonely, Hyperfixated, possibly neurodivergent (Possibly Autistic, but again, I'm no psychiatrist), girl who just wants a friend on her level.

A very REALISTIC story in a non realistic world.

See I think the main problem with Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood is that it's not enough like a Bioware rpg. Where's the Sonic equivalent of the Genophage? Where's the roboticized Eggman minion telling Sonic that being enslaved to a tech bro is good actually? where is the story structure that encourages you to help Amy, Knuckles or Shadow through personal quests to get the best ending? Where's the choice in the climax that lets you choose between destroying the Echidnas or sparing them!?

So by your own admission, Courtney a started assaulting you when you were 14, you went to the hospital at 15, came home at 16, and she ran away when you were 19. So there's three years where you still had to be in the same house with her. What was that like?

Very very very weird, but honestly about the same.

The no contact order being extended must have put the fear that I talked into Courtney, because she didn't try blackmailing me again when I got home. But at the same time she still orbited around me.

On some days she would pick fights with me and start going off on rants, other days she was strangely affectionate.

Frankly the year of hell had the same dichotomy: Physically assaulting me one day, playing with my hair the next (I'll understand if you can't decide which of those is worse).

Given that I just didn't want the hassle, I largely just took both on the chin. The screaming and the clinging.

It wasn't all that different from before I went into the hospital, she was just a lot more cautious and I wasn't being raped 2-4 times a week.

So overall, a moderate improvement.

Between the hospital and moving out, I just felt numb. Like "yeah Dad's screaming again, yeah Mom's clattering and banging when everyone is trying to sleep again, yeah Courtney stole my sweater again better get a padlock on my door"

It was just pointless to question at that point.

I’ve loved the Pokemon franchise since childhood, I’ve never knew that people genuinely thought these game had a great story, most of the time I just got tired of the story getting in front of my adventure with my pokebuddies because it’s always so flat and the villains have nothing that I can’t find in any other RPG. I like Pokemon because of the Pokemon not because it has a deep and rich story and lore. So I’m genuinely surprised people want to argue that you don’t have media literacy over fucking Pokemon.
