Vol- Pt. 1 (Intro Snippet)

Her eyes slowly flickered open, fleeting around the dark room. Per usual, there were no traces of light. The small windows below the ceiling of the basement long since boarded up. The only exit was sealed shut with multiple locks barring her from outside. It's not like she'd try to escape.

Even if she did, she wouldn't get very far.

Vol slowly sat up, looking around the room coated in the darkest of shadows. Even if the room was dark, she could see just fine. The desk, drawers, bulletin... Vol could see everything.

Vol hugged her knees to her chest, the rattling of chains bound to her ankles sounding around the room as she moved. Her sunken, unblinking eyes settled on a particularly dark corner of the room. Her eyes drooped, getting lost in the endlessness of her own mind.

'What time is it?'. Vol didn't know.

'When was the last time I saw the light?'. She didn't know that either. Being kept captive for so long will put your brain in a bind.

'When is he coming back? I miss him...”. She really shouldn't. She knows she shouldn't. But she does.

About my writing:

My writing will feature dark and mature content.

Everything I write is original, all from my own mind. The majority of my stories will be snippets for a book I’m writing. Not professionally (hopefully at some point), but just for fun :)

All of my characters are completely original. If there are characters that are similar to my own, then it’s most likely complete coincidence as i don’t really engage in other OC’s.

I would absolutely love it if people gave me feedback, any advice or any of the sort. I’m more than willing to learn. Don’t hesitate to give me suggestions or any ideas you have, I’d really love it! <3
