Here's 80 minutes of sound designers reminiscing about making the Yamaha DX7 presets

I liked the anecdote where two guys were tasked with making 128 patches on short notice and they were like "are there 128 different sounds??" and one of them started making lists of instruments in categories like "guitar, banjo, what else is plucked?" and the other one said "chickens!" and it's extremely relatable to me that he'd remember that particular joke 40 years later. I feel like the deeper I look back in my memory, the things that truly last are the jokes I liked.
