9/11 remembrance and a political post (You've been warned by a queer leftist that suffers from the woke mind virus. Trust me it's worse than covid)
It's 9/11. I can't believe it's been over 20 years since that tragedy. I remember it like it was yesterday. Mom calling me up as I was a slumber asking me if I'm watching the news. I watched in horror. It's the day America changed forever. But we must remain vigilant and learn from our past as a country. When that came to pass we were all one . We shared a mutual pride and a love for our country . We set politics aside to see if our neighbors are okay . Was there heavy racism against Brown and Arab people at the time? Of course there was.
Was it used as an excuse for the NSA to start mass surveillance? *Ahem*"patriot act *ahem* Was it used as an excuse to start two potential forever wars? Maaaybee? Were the actual funders caught and prosecuted? No because-natural resources. Did it lead to the this weird sense of patriotism for one man over country that eventually became so prevalent in the cult of personality that is now DJT? I believe so. There was a preview of this with George w. Bush and especially the tea party/ freedom caucus. *Keith Olbermann voice* REMEMBER FREEDOM FRIES?!?! Also, remember, before 9/11, the national anthem and the flag and military presences were never apart of sporting events on a regular basis.
Unfortunately, nowadays we are surrounded by hateful rhetoric and our discourse has become a carnival show from a man that said " Now my tower is the biggest in the city ". What a selfish selfish man. (If you can call him that). America dies if it's leader wraps himself with the flag and holds a Bible.
We need to rebuild, just like One World Trade Center. Dynamic. Stronger. Energy efficient. A true beacon of Hope and a remembrance of what makes America great as is. Not a slogan on a cheap hat (made in China by the way) but to look up and see the sky reflected in the panels and say "progress" and "hope" and "moving forward".
Instead of conspiracy theories. Instead of the word of God. Instead of mass hysteria and transpanic. Instead of scapegoating people of color and immigrants . Let us all take a deep breath. Exhale and be excited! Our future is in our hands. The future of our kids are in our hands. Let's learn from the past and move on from it and build a better future because that is the only way The American dream survives.
Call me as a "socialist"if you must you can even call me "woke" . It's the same tired rhetoric of the McCarthy hearings of the '50s and '60s where lgbtq people, artists, actors, directors, people of color, activists- were all on "the list". It wasn't because they were communist because none of them were. They were creatives. They were outspoken and the government wanted to censor and silence them . Fun history fact: It was when McCarthy went after the military that ending his political career. (Look it up. It's a fascinating story).
"Woke" today is what hippies was in the '60s and '70s. Love, empathy. Understanding. Unfortunately some of those hippies ended up becoming yuppies (especially those in silicon valley) and due to Reagan's tax policies (which we are still feeling the effects of today) The rich are getting richer. The middle class is disappearing. Everyone is working three or four to five jobs to survive just to pay rent. Yet it's the banks and Big businesses and Wall Street that get bailed out by our tax dollars. Not the average Joe.
I have faith that millennials and gen z are actually going to do what Genesis said they were going to do during Land of confusion. " Their generation are going to set it right".
The American dream is on life support - yes. But we are a strong lot . We are diverse not divisive. It's inclusive to everyone because all people are created equal. Everyone is valid. Everyone deserves to live a happy life. Everyone needs some sort of stability. Mental and financial. We're not a Utopia we never will be. However, we can strive to be better than we once were. That is all anyone could ask for.
We could make America great again by using the tax code back from back then. Return to the fairness doctrine in media. Stop corporate buyouts of media companies and sporting arenas (again, thanks to Reagan and partly Clinton). But going back to racially divisive and segregation and project 2025 making us a Christian theocracy is not the way to go. We are free and we should remain free. Our rights are important. They should remain important. We are America and we will not go back.
(I should be a speechwriter)

"I can't hear you, can you hear me?"
I've been getting sporadic random phone calls from random places throughout the United States with this message. Just today I let my phone ring. It was an unknown number from a Pennsylvania area code. Oddly, enough through my ringtone, I heard a soft feminine voice utter the word "Hello". Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not too sure if this is a random ARG or just a Spam call. This is like the second or third time I got a call like this. Any idea what it could be?
UPDATE: I got confirmation through Twitter, by Nick Nocturne himself, that these are just indeed spambot calls. I am still weirded out that a voice came through my ringtone however.

It seems as though everybody jumped the shark and were totally bamboozled because of body slam dot net's report about WWE possibly being sold to a Saudi Arabian investment firm and it being a "Done deal". I too fell for this and posted a rather passionate blog on Facebook and Tumblr and also through conversation on Twitter.
To combat that viral rumor, recent news comes to report that those rumors were false and nothing has come from it. It has also been reported that WWE CEO Nick Kahn is in LA meeting with Disney execs and the head of ESPN.
This is quite interesting news, considering Vince McMahon always thought WWE to be the "Disney" of professional wrestling. (Which is quite interesting considering the non-family friendly atmosphere that was the attitude era back in the 90s).
As far as TV rights go? I have no idea where it will end up. Raw has always been the number one program on the USA Network for decades (with the exception of a few years on tnn/spike during the ruthless aggression era).
Also the deal with Fox network/sports (which is still owned by News Corp and Rupert Murdoch) is up soon as well. A deal with Disney, and the fact that networks can produce their own slate of content since FCC fair competition regulations were gutted back in the late 90s, I would be totally surprised if WWE smackdown remains on the Fox network.
It would be very interesting if WWE ends up on ESPN. They used to air classic matches all the time back in the day. Also they aired promotions like the AWA and WCCW. Considering the crossover appeal of WWE at the moment and the fact that sports journalists actually cover wrestling recently, this would be an interesting move for their television programming for sure.
Anyway, this news is a relief for fans and a big relief most likely for the biggest star that they have going on right now, Sami Zayn.
2023 started out like a lion when it comes to wrestling news, that is for sure! Including AEW. Especially now that it has been announced that FTR are taking a break from television and contemplating their future. I don't want to speculate too hard on that. I would love to see the Revival back in the Fed. However we all know what happened with the Malachi black/House of black speculation that ran rampant after he took his sabbatical.
I look forward to what the next few weeks bring. It's going to be insane in the membrane for sure. Have fun and keep safe everyone. Thanks for reading.

It seems as though I jumped the gun, as did all the new sites that picked up that story. It was only bodyslam.net that reported it initially.
A lot of speculation going on in the world of wrestling today. Including a potential sale of the WWE to Saudi Arabia. As a long time watcher of the product I voiced my concerns and a new report from other news sites, and picked up by #Cultaholic is claiming that the rumors of the sale are untrue. And there are no definite plans to sell the company immediately.
Quite frankly I am relieved and we all should have listened to Sean Ross Sapp when he reported it untrue since the rumor broke out.
Keep your head up #WWE and wrestling fans. Shits about to get wild!

A bunch of news sites are reporting that Vince McMahon is selling to a Saudi private investment firm making more money than God, it returning back to a private company, Thusly offering more money and incentives to talent contracts amongst other things. This will also lead to a power grab by McMahon to take the reins of creative again.
If these rumors are true, this is possibly the reason why Stephanie McMahon resigned. I am certain that there will be mass layoffs coming soon for the wrestlers and creatives that Triple H hired back to the company. People that Vince doesn't see value in.
I'm also sure that Triple H, William Regal and the newly appointed head of continuity Rob Fee will see either their roles diminished or be let go all together as well.
It will also lead to an exodus of one of their most popular characters right now, Sami Zayn. (who is of Syrian descent).
It might also lead to their stacked women's roster being depleted and every lgbtq person within the company either being fired or let go.
Just note this is just speculation on my part due to the fact about how the Saudis treat women and homosexuals. However, thanks to a Twitter follower of mine (Alex Morrison) I understand the ins and outs of how these investment firms work. They own many soccer teams in the UK, including women's league, which are thriving financially and they are paying the players well. I thank Alex for his insight into these side of things.
I hope that this is just a private investment firm that won't have any influence on the company itself. But I, personally, highly doubt it.
It's strange that a company that was so "pro American" especially during the Hogan years with the "giant foreign heel" rising against America and "Hulkamania" will come to a deal with such a ruthless organization. Heck, they are so "USA" that they often fundraise for certain orange-tinted Buffoon's that claim to be for "America First".
Another odd thing, and a fact about Vincent Kennedy McMahon, is that he created the character of "The Million Dollar Man" to be a send-up. He was taking the piss out of rich people because he detested so much how they acted and flaunted their wealth and means. How money changes people's perspective through age and time is equally interesting and disturbing. " Greed is good", I guess.
In the end it's all about the dollars and it doesn't have to make sense. They've had pay-per-view events for the Saudi Prince for multiple years now. In a way I'm not really surprised that this is happening.
It's actually an interesting allegory to late stage capitalism and the rise of the extremist politics, in a way. Money talks and bullshit walks as long as an elderly, out of touch white man that holds all the cards is in control.
Also, this Billion Dollar Man and his corporation/conglomerate subduing all, if any, creative youth movement from within. It's a tale as Old as Time.
So far this is only a rumor. A very big rumor. WWE has not confirmed the sale. However I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
I am hoping for the best for Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Stephanie, Rob Fee , Bray Wyatt and the other big names that have returned during Vince's brief "retirement". Anyone affected by this news.
I hope that they would be able to, if they are all relieved of their duties, create their own promotion. A promotion that loves the business for what it is and even though money is good, the art form of pro wrestling will always be the central point.
I might reluctantly continue to watch WWE as long as Triple H is in charge of creative. But if it turns back to the cluster fuck it was during late stage McMahon, I'll just say: "Thank Christ for the AEW, Mexico, Japan AND the thriving Indy scene".
In the end, the Federation (or the "E" as they call it) will die when Vince McMahon does. Professional wrestling lives on. If worse comes to worse, there are alternatives out there. Subscribe to #iwtv to see the purest and most passionate form of professional wrestling
Okay I'm off my soapbox now.

What If: Episode 2
After issues with Disney+ I finally got to watch Episode 2 of WHAT IF? and I must say it was vastly superior to the first. It was laugh out loud hilarious at times. The surprises and the characters they chose to be in this iteration of GOTG was very satisfyingly refreshing. The tribute to Chadwick Boseman got me teary eyed, indeed.
My one question is, how come no one in social media is really talking about the almost meta humor of Djimon Hounsou's "Korath" fan-boying over T'Challa? Has the nerd culture forgotten that he voiced Black Panther in the Jon Schnepp Directed animated film? I thought that little detail would've been picked up?
Anyway, I am definitely enjoying this series and I'm looking forward to next weeks!
Thanks for reading.

More MOTU News!

Two new animated series and three new toy lines in one calendar year!!! #Origins to pass down to the new generation and for Adult Collectors to relive their childhood. #Masterverse for the adult collector in mind and He Man and the MOTU for kids! What a time to be a fan of this under-rated, but highly influential franchise!
Unlike the relaunch in 2002, which was amazing in it's own right, but died a quiet death due to lack of marketing and the uneven scheduling of the MYP animated series on Cartoon Network. It seems as if Mattel and the Masters of the Universe team are putting a lot of faith and their hearts and souls into these iterations. This is, hopefully a good sign.
I think it's kind of crazy and a bit sad how kids are addicted to cell phones, computers and wanting to be gaming YouTubers, Twitch Streamers or " influencers" or what not rather than use their actual imaginations and go to play. Some thing's just cannot be pre-programmed into a digital storyline. Especially in a world like Masters where technology and magic are combined. Creativity and imagination are the purest form of magic in the universe. That's why "I have the power" is not just a catch phrase. ❤️
To all the toxic fandom, the naysayers, trolls, upset "man babies" and self proclaimed true "fans" of this property...I've got a few things to say:
Like my proclamation on my take of the faux "controversy" over #revelation: Take off your rose tinted BLINDFOLDS of nostalgia. The only way for MOTU to survive is to pass it down to a new generation. That's who the demographic is. It's 👏NOT👏 SUPPOSED 👏TO👏BE👏FOR👏YOU! Just let the franchise do it's own thing. Let it thrive. If you gatekeep it will die, just as it almost did in 2002. I'm an adult fan and I know AND understand this, why can't you?
That and my two favorite .gifs that get the point across to these vapid life forms who only exist to complain bitch and moan about pop culture and media...
In closing I hope these lines and series are major successes for the kiddos age 7 (and up 😉) all over the world. If I had the disposal income and room in my apartment *gazes up at my wall adorned with figures from the #CLASSICS line by #Mattel and #Super7 (2008-2019)* I would definitely collect them, but alas, it tis what it is. ❤️ (Plus, the distribution issues because of the on going pandemic are making these items horrendously hard to find, even at big box stores like Target). The toys are the meat of this franchise. Without it we wouldn't have had what we have had and are going to have in the future. Creativity of the next generation is the true Master of the Universe.
Thanks for reading.

My thoughts on Masters of the Universe: Revelation ...
So many trolls and haters because we follow TEELA'S QUEST. Did anyone actually learn from the morals of the story during and/or the PSAs at the end of the original series? They were teaching us about tolerance and acceptance and love, amongst other topics now considered "woke" but it is merely about help become a passionate and well rounded human. I guess these peeps "Didn't get the memo".
I mean, geeze. Not to disrespect the dead, but Lou Scheimer is probably rolling in his grave because of these actions and responses. Larry DiTillio as well as other greats at Filmation that have passed on.
Paul Dini (who is still with us- thank Eternia) would ESPECIALLY be OUTWARDLY disappointed in those people, as he should because he helped shape Teela as a character.
It's true, this new iteration isn't a "HE MAN" show. In fact, it's called MASTERS of the UNIVERSE: Revelation. Eternia is a world FILLED with such characters of both magic and science. Yes, He Man is the main protagonist of the toy line, but this series is about so much more than that. It's about the fall out of a character keeping such a powerful secret between friends and family. It's about grief, loss and the undeniability of one's true purpose.
It's also about a HEROES Journey. It's about true magic and wonder being lost in a society programmed by machines and algorithms. (Sound familiar?) Thusly finding that magic again, even if there's a cost. This is the "Death of Superman" but on Eternia.
Teela was no damsel in the original series. Nor was she in the 2002 series. She's the Captain of the Royal Guard. Her emotional journey started as an orphan, raised by Duncan, and (spoiler alert to those "fans" who don't know the lore that well) will eventually take over duties as Sorceress of Grayskull. So, she's not as meek as y'all think. Plus, many characters grow in this show. Most of which experience the fact that they are more powerful then they themselves realize. Orko and Roboto especially.
I thought it was an epic tale. Fraught with Easter eggs, fan service (to those who aren't the JEFF ALBERTSON's of the world) and action and adventure!
The whole meaning to MASTERS of the UNIVERSE is to choose your own adventure, basically. "I have the power" isn't just a catch-phrase. It was berthed by Mattel creatives who wanted to empower children with wonder and imagination. That was, and continues to be, the point of it all.
On a non-serious note: My only problem with the series is Kevin Conroy wasn't gargling his lines as Mer Man.
My favorite part was the Preternia stuff and the fact we got to see epic sword and sorcery battles and things go (Zfrank voice) stabby-stabby.
Thank you Kevin Smith, Marc Bernardin Netflix Mattel, Powerhouse Animation and the phenomenal cast and crew. These past five episodes I enjoyed very much look forward to more.
In closing, to all the trolls, I am onto y'all. They probably were sent by The Unnamed One from the Dark Dimension of Despondos, with the sole mission to mechanize their toxic brand of blind nostalgia through the internet through bitchy man-baby "fan" reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. They have not learned any of the lessons from the OS if they truly had grown up with MOTU. They are actively trying to kill the TRUE magic of the Universe. Creativity and humanity. It has to stop.
Thanks for reading. I know this isn't my usual fare, but in time I thought I'd branch out. I hope you all enjoyed this blogpost and review.

Life On Mars In Boston 2019: 14|41 State Of The Art and Ein$tein
These are the latest in my documentation of the strange markings left by whom I call a time/space traveler and dimension hopper due to his "work". (However, in reality he is a Homeless man who is just outside, on the "Fringe", if you will)?

The "graffiti" of the numbers 1441 was his FOURTH time marking up the Bank of America ATM kiosk. I did a Google search on it and the first thing that popped up was it's correspondence to an "Angel Number".
https://angelnumbersmeaning.com/angel-number-1441-meaning-and-symbolism/
I also had asked what it could've meant on Reddit. Someone responded with the Bible Passage of Mark 14:41:
“And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.”
(This is not a really cohesive explanation because of the fact that it was his fourth time writing on this specific kiosk and not his third).
It also may have something to do with Ancient Julian Calendars.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1441
Among many other POSSIBLE definitions. For instance, he could've just been recording the hour he laid pen to wall. 14:41 is 2:41 pm Military . Thus continuing his affinity for all things time.
The later video was taken at a Citizens Bank ATM Kiosk near Brigham Circle. I first became aware of these markings when my co-worker said she stumbled upon them and she had taken a short 8 second video.
So that Tuesday I waked all the way to the location and filmed more comprehensive footage. It is definitely the same individual, with his trademark Circle with a teardrop shape protrusion. This time with new messages.
"State Of(f) The Art"(obviously out of sequence) and "Ein$tein" and, like the walk through video of his Magnum opus last year, the repeated number nine.
Again, this last location was also en route of the 66 city bus. So I am sure he has used his Sharpie in other places. That's why I ask anyone else who is in the area, if you see any more of these glyphs or writings let me know. Take a snap, take a vid and send me a message! (e mail is in my profile).
Thank you, my subscribers and new subs and people who just come across this blog randomly. Get the word out on this weirdness. Feel free to share this (or any of my other findings) on websites, message boards and social media that have a penchant for the weird and the wonderful. Also feel free to comment and like.

Fatherly...advice?
Got a DM from my Dear ol Dad that read as follows:
"I know it's your life but PLEase Donot post any pictures of you in make up or wigs etc it just freaks me out and i can handle alot but this no way -alot thank you -in my Facebook timeline Dad-$140 for he man stuff i see enjoy"
To be followed up with
"or videos of you walking in make up and wig, etc."
Keep in mind, I'm a grown ass adult. I promptly ignored the ridiculous message and unfriended him but I don't have the heart to block him. No matter how uneasy I make him feel.
This just irks me. Number one, he thinks I'm sending these posts directly to his profile. Which is absolute Bullock's ! He's a "man of a certain age" therefore he has no idea what the "unfollow" button is, no matter how many times I explain it to him. That and the phrase, "I know it's your life but..." pisses me the fuck off.
He's so belligerently ignorant and he's so stuck on the LGBT etc stereotype perpetuated by Hollywood and the MSM in the 70s, 80s and 90s that he totally thinks I'm the "worst kind" of Homosexual and I'm sure he thinks I'm on drugs, having all sorts of unprotected sex and eventually that I will end up with AIDs.
The fact is that I'm the proverbial "social butterfly". I surround myself with an extremely excellent group of diverse, like minded friends in the Boston scene and they will never do me wrong. I just get all glammed when I go out, drink, dance and order a Lyft back. I'm having a blast and being safe. I'm not harming anything but his fragile "guido-bro" ego and his toxic masculinity.
***For your information, yes, he still wears tight A- shirts and tank tops to show off his "guns" during the Summer. I still think he has the gold horn necklace too. However I mention NOTHING whenever he posts what I deem "embarrassing" content! He's comfortable in his skin, and that's great! So why does he find it inappropriate for me to find comfort in my own? Thus, dictating to me what I should and shouldn't put on Facebook, Twitter, Insta, etc?***
I know I'm not the son he wanted. He wanted me to be a carbon copy from the getgo. So much so he wanted me to be a "Junior". (My Mum had none of that, by the way). I'm not an athlete or a body builder or a ladies man. Never have been. Never will be. Much to his chagrin.
I'm more or less a sensitive, empathetic, liberal, and artistic individual that is in tune with the femininity of things. I'm self expressive, neon, loud with a penchant for 80s music. If I die it better be on a dance floor or a stage.
I do love my Dad. No matter how bigoted and inept he is. Even the fact he voted for the orange buffoon in 2016, I still can't hate him. He's blood.
I admit, he spoiled me as a kid. He got me a dog (who had the same limp as I). So I know there has to be at least somewhat of a soft heart beneath the rough exterior. There were the pool parties and cook outs during the Summer. The movies he had taped off of cable gave facilitated my love for Star Wars, Trek, Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, Time Bandits and heck even Krull. He, and my late Step Mom, even sat me in front of MTV. (and boy did I get all giddy when "West End Girls" came on!). It was all probably just to keep me occupied, but still. That is the reason why geekdom runs that deep, nowadays.
Hell, even my adoration for *He-Man came from him buying the action figures, vehicles and playsets for gifts of awesome Christmas' and birthdays past! There were Pool parties. Cook outs. By GAWD we even had Super Mario 3 in the garage one year!!!
***Oh, and about the He Man thing? I bought the collection of four via preorder (with MY tax money). This particular set of action figures is based on the 1987 MOTU movie! The reason behind the purchase is simply because I've been waiting for these variations to be released since that flick was released!!! (The Langella Skeletors look AMAZING, by the way). I maybe over forty but trust me nostalgia is one hell of a drug. ***
However, he always was a helicopter parent. He still watches me eat whenever I'm home, because I choked on a piece of steak...ONCE!
He never let's me help with technology nor wants me touching anything because I would "break it". Just two years ago he wouldn't let me touch the DVD player because it wasn't playing the disc properly. (I'm in my 40s now btw and definitely can figure out and handle a simple task such as that).
Apparently, he also has a file on me. My Mother and my Mother's past employers. Including newspaper clippings and what not. I'm sure my Dad has some sort of mental disorder.
I don't even know why I'm venting so much on here. Nor do I know why I chase his love and acceptance when clearly he doesn't have the balls to be happy for me for living my life and my truth. My Dad is the epitome of "Ye of little faith". He's the reason I always doubt myself and my abilities whenever I think about getting back into acting, doing comedy or to just do my day job. His voice comes up in my brain and says "You can't do that." Oh well. I apologise if the structure of this blog is semi incoherent. I just needed to let loose to anyone who would listen.
Thank you all for reading! <3

Life On Mars In Boston 2019: Time Adjusted
02/04/2019: A Star-Man at Star Market
The Allston Time and Space Traveler actually stopped by the store I work at tonight. I was stocking shelves in the canned veggies section, turned to my right and there he was! I had to do a double take to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. Luckily, they weren't. He actually turned his head toward me and he and I were locked into eye contact. He gave a knowing glare.
He was adorned with the same windbreaker I saw him wearing that Wednesday at the bus stop near Dunkin Donuts and Great Scot. He was taller than I thought (Well over 6 foot). He was wearing a green knee brace on his right knee with gray baggy pants. He had either earbuds or some sort of modern technology dangling around his neck. White with orange dots. I did not have time to take a snap of this elusive individual because I was working at the time.
Last I saw him he was heading to the paper goods aisle. I helped make a cardboard bale, then took care of my cardboard and by the time I got back upstairs he had disappeared. I put my coat on. Moseyed to the front end and clocked out. Then went to the back of the store and into the bottle redemption area to see if he was still in the store or if he had written any more messages. Unfortunately he wasn't and he did not do any writings while he was there.
I will keep everyone updated on ANY future developments...
