As someone who has disappeared from the art world for several years now, I understand where you’re coming from. You are the reason why you’re able to do great things, art or otherwise, and no matter what decisions you make, or what might suddenly happen in life, you know what’s right for you and your well being. Your eye for gesture and color and movement are spectacular, they are uniquely yours, and you’ll always be an inspiration to others, but you’ll always be you first, you as a person who is a great artist, but always a person who has a life to live. You define your work, not the other way around, remember that, because even if you’re not creating anything now, you will always be you, and people believe in you and what you can do <3

Do you post anything here anymore? I recently found this and love the concept. I’d definitely love to see more.

Hi! Thanks for your interest! I’m afraid I am no longer posting anything, either here or anywhere else. I don’t really draw these days. I’m sorry for vanishing from the internet so abruptly, but given that I no longer had anything to contribute, I didn’t see any point in sticking around. I realize now that my sudden departure might’ve been a bit alarming, apologies for that. I’m fine. I was a mail carrier for a while. I enjoyed that a lot, but I had to quit due to injury and now I’m back in food service. Which isn’t precisely the culmination of a lifelong dream, but it’s fine, and I’m grateful to be employed.

I’ve undergone some kind of psychological change which makes creative thinking incredibly difficult. I’m not sure exactly what precipitated this change. Fortunately I’m still able to hold down a job and take care of myself, so while I miss having an imagination, I guess it’s not as utterly indispensable as I used to believe it was. I do feel much smaller and sadder without it, though. I never managed to do anything profound or important with the little artistic skill I had, but it did bring me a lot of joy.

Anyhow! That’s what’s happening with me. Thank you so much for your kind messages. I still love lurking on this site from time to time and looking at all the gorgeous artwork you folks are making. I can’t believe how talented you all are. Can’t wait to see the wonderful things you come up with in the future. xo

My Wacom Tablet is Dying!

Long story short, my drawing tablet is going on 13 years and is barely held together by a few strips of electrical tape and some rubber bands. It’s going to cost $100 to buy a replacement, which is more than I can spare right now.

I plan on streaming Afterbirth on Twitch this Friday Novemeber 18th starting around 10pm EST until 3am EST. Any donations I receive during that time will go directly to my Wacom fund. Stickers can now be ordered as hand cut flexible magnets! Great for flat metal surfaces! (I do not recommend putting them on the outside of cars or other vehicles do to risk of theft)
