Indefinite Hiatus

hi all, i know it’s been a while. i miss all of you so much and love being a part of this community. life has just been pulling me in another direction this past few months and i haven’t had nearly the kind of time i used to have to play and share things with you all.

i have decided that it’s time for me to take a break from the sims 4 to focus on my other creative outlets and projects as well as put more focus into my actual day job lol. juggling hours of playtime and editing time with all the other things i want/love to do is just too much right now.

don’t worry tho, me and this here game have been intertwined since i was a little kid so i WILL be back, it’s just not the time right now.

i love you all and will be back sometime in 2025 to play and share more content!!

i wanted a lighter body hair for my sims that either don't grow a lot of hair or are in the "in between" stages of their hair growth.

this set consists of three body hairs you can use for arms and legs and can be used on all frames. more details and pics under the cut

each body hair comes in a single swatch that should work with most (if not all) hair colors given how light they are.

they are set to hair growth level 1 for those that use the in-game hair growth system

would yall be interested in a some body hair cc? i made a simple single swatch for arms and legs that has some superrrr light hair strands.

i made it for my sims who don’t have heavy/medium arm hair but still need to have some kind of hair on their bodies cause I feel like being totally bald isn’t all that common. i’ll drop it some time this week if folks think they’ll find it useful

Let people enjoy the games they choose to enjoy. You don't have to support it. You don't have to try it. You can absolutely have an opinion about it. And disparaging people for enjoying something is nonsensical. Promoting awareness of the negative impacts you've found about a thing is different than telling people they're stupid for trying a demo they like. Do the former, not the latter.

Many people are displaced, starving, and trying to escape the RSF (Rapid Support Forces) by evacuating to neighbouring countries or overseas.

Randa is in Rwanda so the campaign is to reunite her with her six family members! She has posted an update on June 26th, almost three weeks ago:

Her family has their visa rejected when they entered Rwanda, so they are staying in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, but only temporarily. They have to borrow money to cover the high cost of living as well as issue new visas for Rwanda. (This is mentioned in her fundraiser).

Elaf Babiker ($18,570 USD / $35,000).

Elaf is a medical student in her final year as well as the eldest daughter. She wants to evacuate to Rwanda.

Last update: July 25th!

The RSF has claimed more terrority and closed more borders. It will be much more difficult to leave Sudan via ground transportation. So the best option is to take a flight from Port Sudan to Ethiopia and then she and her family will be Rwanda.

My donation to Elaf's fundraiser is not in the donation match's post. So here is a screenshot.

update on this!

while miiko’s lashes are still broken the slider issue came about because i renamed the sliders and removed special characters! soooo

PSA: If you bulk rename things, it might be best to avoid mods that change game config like sliders, mods, animation overrides, etc. if you don’t want unexpected issues.

anyone know how to fix sliders? the ones i use by miiko seem to have been damaged in the last update along with their lashes.

any links on how to fix until miiko returns would be most appreciated!
