One of the hardest parts of writing gay anything is that they (often) use the same pronouns. Balancing names and pronouns so that I’m not overusing either of them is maybe THE hardest part of writing for me, because if you use ‘he’ too many times in a row you’ll lose track of who’s doing what, but too many names is repetitive and awkward to read!

I wanna cry but tears won't come out. I wanna accept myself but the flaws I have are holding me back from the beast I want to be. I can't love myself like this. I can't do what I want to like this. I can't breathe like this. I can't live like this.

It hurts so much that I can't keep it inside anymore. In this race, it's all blurry. It's getting suffocating.

"Potter, it's really cold out here. Let's go inside...." Draco blows on his rapidly freezing hands inside his mittens.

"I like the snow," Harry grins up at him from his sprawled out position on the bed of white.

"I like it too," Draco begins and slowly, a bit reluctantly, lowers himself to the ground, "but we've been out for hours now. I'm freezing." He says with a fond smile that he has long given up from hiding whenever it comes to Harry.

"You see, Draco," Harry smiles back, pulling Draco closer. "I like being with you and it makes me feel all warm inside," and gently takes Draco's face in his mittened hands. "So, the snow feels warm too...."

How....just how can he say such things and make me fall harder for him? I've fallen impossibly deep as it is. How much more?

"How much more?" The words accidentally slip out of their own accord without his permission. "How much more time do you want to be out here?"

"With you?" Harry asks, his voice tinkling in Draco's ears like Christmas bells. He falls completely and simply nods.

"Forever," is what Harry whispers and pulls Draco into the warmth of his pure like snow heart.

I think - I think I can live here forever, this place that has been carved and sculpted out just for me.
