Mainly has to do with the fact that I realized my headmates have lost interest in this blog and I'm the only one using it lmao

Bro I just watched the video made on that one artist who got banned from Artfight for drawing "fetish art" (just fat characters) and I just wanna say

Horrible video, and I watched ALL of it

One of the biggest arguments used in support of her ban is that "she admitted to having a fat fetish so her fat characters are most fetish baiting" or whatever the fuck, and the other most stupid one is that "they look so big and round and therefore not what actual fat ppl look like" and they are both horrid in their own way

For starters, someone having a fetish of some kind does not make all of their pieces/characters fetish art, someone having a fat fetish does not mean all of their fetish are directly linked to all their art or characters, besides, pretty sure the artist talked abt being fat herself before??? So like, are people with fetishes related to their own body type not allowed to have non-fetish characters with that body type??

The second argument is even stupider, the artist draws FURRY ART, FURRY ART MEANT TO BE SOFT AND ROUND LOOKING, I have that same artstyle too! Do they just suddenly have to change their art to a realistic artstyle to please y'all, even as a fat person myself that is outrageous.

And another thing, the artist has talked abt being a MINOR, the fact u guys are jumping to this idea that all of their art is inherently pornographic just because the characters are fat is not only fatphobic, but also GROSS AND VERY TELLING

Someone could draw a fat character just standing there and y'all would yell "FETISH ART" at the top of ur lungs. Not saying that fetish art is bad, for the contrary, no matter how weird and gross u think it is, ur grossness is not a sign of morality, and who cares what ppl draw as long as it stays fictional! But the problem arises when u guys see a fat character and immediately assume it's a fetish, no matter how many times the artist tells u is not and no matter how the character is portrayed as, it's always NSFW for y'all and it's gross!!
