I hear that your new album is coming out on only tape, To represent the moving trends, To stand up for your ageing friends, I see that your artwork is a graphic of a Spanish saint, You’re into iconography, Associated monarchy.

What do you represent? Collection of materials And ideals from imperials. Why play this game of Chess? When everything is nothing And we’re just a bunch of hungry nasty animals.

On July 13th, I’ll be releasing the music video for ANIMALS, the lead single from STEAL FROM YOUR IDOLS + GIVE TO YOUR FANS, a free-to-download EP that I’ve created through sampling artists that I admire and idolise. For more information on why I’m doing this and what inspired the project, please watch this video :) 

In order to spread the word and hype the release, I’ve set up a Facebook Event where people can invite their mates, take part in discussions and help plan how we’re going to get the news of FREE MUSIC out there! So please attend the event, by clicking here, and get spreading!

As part of the project we will be using the hashtag #SFYIGTYF on Twitter and Tumblr, and I will personally be retweeting and reblogging as much as I can. I’ll want to know what everyone’s favourite track is? Your thoughts on the music video? Your thoughts of the EP? Songs you noticed I sampled? Bands you might check out because of the EP? And so on.

In under two days the event has gained 150+ people attending, with over 1,000+ invited. I’m so honoured to have such a loyal fanbase who can help me spread something this special to me so quickly. Lead singer of group Against Me! has come out as transgender. Tom Gabel revealed plans to become Laura Jane Grace to Rolling Stone, and talked on her years of struggle with gender dysphoria and the struggles to come with the transition period and her wife and family. I wanted to use this opportunity to show my support for Laura, but also give a nod to all of you guys who may be struggling with something regarding your own identity. Keep strong, and pull through.
