In Part of Me, Harry wrote “the way that dress adores you, sunshine.” I thought that song is about CR and it made me think Adore You and Sunflower are about her too. Do you have any thoughts?

Hi Anon,

I think Harry has just used adore/sunshine as generally nice terms. Harry only used Adore and Sunshine in 2 other songs, both on Fine Line and have other references that refer to Taylor.

The character in Part of Me is quite different to Taylor, they:

can't hold red wine (Taylor often sings of it)

Spend money all the time (Taylor is Billionaire)

We’re Told too many times she can't do the things she likes because she is easy on the eyes (best of luck w/Taylor on that)

dates a man called Theo (CR did)

And most importantly:

"Worked out for the best now don’t you see" - Harry is accepting of this break up, as he is in Cherry ("I just miss / I just miss your accent and your friends" is a far cry from Harry songs about it not working out with Taylor like FTDT, TBSL, Falling, As it Was) To me, this song confirms that Falling is not about the same break up.

Mundane Shlorpian Terry Details

His eyes glow orange

His body is all muscular and taller than his Shlorpian size

His body is all black

The inside of his mouth glows orange

He transforms whenever someone threatens him, insults him, try to harm him or whenever his family and human friends and frenemies are in danger, threatened, injured, insulted and/or in trouble

His voice gets deeper and distorted

He has a very loud roar, like Godzilla

His clothes get torn into pieces when he transforms

His family inherited it, but he didn’t know until thirteen years later he transformed into his Mundane form when he was feeling overwhelmed by hurtful thoughts in his head and how he always feel like a fuck up

The first time he transformed is when he is feeling hurtful suicidal thoughts by people who hate him (which helped inspired a Very Special Episode for Solar Opposites AU)

The only people who understands and knows about this are Korvo, Yumyulack, Jesse, Pupa, Miss Frankie, Principal Cooke, Nova, Cherie, Montez, Pezlie, Sonya and the rest of the Solars’ human friends and families

He is very protective of Korvo, their children and their human friends and frenemies

He heals easily from wounds

Would do anything to protect his beloved Korvo

Korvo is very comforting towards Terry and supportive of his form, he feels horny towards it

The only thing that calms him down are his family and his human friends and frenemies, especially his husband Korvo

He feels like a monster whenever he transforms into his Mundane form and feels bad whenever he hurts someone

Turns out the first time he transformed was thirteen years ago when other Shlorpians kept taunting him more and baby Jesse was in danger, which caused Terry to be very protective of his daughter in that form

Meat makes him stronger

He is scared of hurting the ones he love in his Mundane form, including Korvo, Jesse, Yumyulack, Pupa and their human friends and frenemies

Unlike shadow monsters, Terry’s Mundane form has no weakeness, he is even vulnerable against the light
