For our final proposal we are going with the pink dollar idea. In order to best spread the mention we are going to create 100 dollars and with a shredder and scissors- destroy them in front of a Target. We will leave a couple intact around so people can pick up and see the message. Using sheets of paper, we will create the dollars. Our audience will be anyone who walks in and out of the target stores we selected(the ones closest to campus).

1. QUOTE - "These are just ideas in the air, and questions that we ask sometimes-- and questions that we don't ask but should ask."

2. COMMENT - I selected this quote due to this being the start of how art begins. Most works today start with a question of controversy. Whether it be about a topic for today or a historical event, there's many things that should be said and talked about. Art is an outlet for these discussions to get something out there. If there's a cultural, religious, or sexual significance, there's for sure art that will talk about these topics. It talks about how art can be efficient in advocating for something someone believes in. I think it's admirable, truly, to be confident to create something beautifully aware.

3. QUESTION - What is a common artistic topic? What is a commonly talked about controversial topic? Can controversies be presented in art? Why? How? What are the relations of controversy to artist (Example, LGBT+ member making art advocating for the LGBT+ community)? What should be said in art rather than in person? What is scary about promoting advocacy?

I chose to contour wire into a recognizable culture figure. I kept trying to draft recognizable characters from TV culture and media. Using this character, I was able to replicate him in the blind contour better than the rest, and I was able to layer the wire together. Making the background was also fun, as without his background, it wouldn't serve its purpose. The paper kept coming apart due to my tape job, yet it made it seem like he was underwater like intended. It was a blessing in disguise. The wire was fun to work it overall, I loved it.

P 8. Perspective

When figuring out perspective, I had many ideas. Yet when in perspective of thinking, it gave me an idea better than I thought. Being in the car with my friends, I filmed myself just looking out the windows and added voices to simulate hearing my thoughts. While some may not be what I'm actually thinking, I hope to have others relate to what my thoughts may feel like when too many are scattered everywhere.
