Short answer: No.

Longer answer: Still no, but he did have several flings. He got lonely, got bored, messed around, but none of the people he met ever stuck. Jaime has always had a big heart. Always open to a relationship if someone would give him a chance, but no one ever did, until Jack, but it was even hard to get anywhere close that proposal when it did happen.

What bothers me is that majority of people that hate jovier is because they believe johnigail is the only thing you can ship when it comes to both John and Abigail as individual characters, when this is totally untrue.

I've seen a rise in poorly hidden homophobic comments against the ship recently and it's irked me. And the fact those same people think johnigail was always a perfect relationship too. Labeling the ship as wrong because it "homewrecks" the canonical relationship these two characters have.

It's weird, because 99% of jovier shippers are respectful to both johnigail and jovier alike. They acknowledge the canon. Almost all of the time, when jovier is done in whatever art form that is, it's done in a canon that makes sense for both sides of the same coin.

Abigail deserved better. She doesn't take John back. Then the ship sails from there. It is NEVER done in a way where there's cheating involved or anything like that. Which is what half of the anti's believe the ship supports, when that isn't it all.

(Don't even get me started on the obvious homophobia against both John and Abigail when someone headcanon's their sexualities something other than straight).

I think we all have to step back and remember this is all fictional. As long as the fictional ship isn't illegal and is done right, it shouldn't matter what someone ships :/!! Let's all be friends!!!!

I keep thinking back to that jovier camp interaction you can see in ch. 2. Where Javier approaches John while he's drinking and compliments his scar. It's clearly said to tease but boy, is it gay.

Then that interaction you can get in ch. 3 where Javier invites John to drink with him, and he does, but before he leaves, he grabs the beer bottle they had been pouring shots from and chugs some of it. Javier grabs it when he leaves and takes a swig directly from it afterwards. Sort of like, hesitantly, cuz he knows it might look weird. The indirect kiss. It drives me nuts.
