This scene takes place after the lamb kills the third bishop and unlocks Sin of the Flesh, curiosity gets the better of the Lamb and sure enough, the results are overwhelming. Since then, Crowne just kinda decided to stay in this form whenever he is wandering about as it brings the lamb a bit of comfort.

They know their brother is gone, but they can't help but cling to a false version of him.

Yes! A lot of Queen’s lines take on another meaning when looked at as a metaphor for Kris’s situation.

And it’s not just in her interactions with Noelle…

It’s paralleled with Queen’s Werewires, too.

Queen’s interactions with Noelle have the potential to mirror a concerned player’s for Kris.

After all, many players probably do genuinely care about Kris. And many of us, as soon as given the opportunity…

…would probably give Kris the chance to choose what they want to do, even if we don’t know what that is. Even if it’s not what we want for Kris.
